Chapter 3863: Early Veiled Shore VI
The scent of mist still clung to his skin as Noah stepped from the sea, the body of Auriamundus slung over one shoulder like a quintessential treasure.
Its scales shimmered with threads of gold and blue, catching the dim light of the Early Veiled Shore and scattering it across the sand in ripples of brilliance.
Each step he took pressed lightly into the untouched soil, the sacred granules humming beneath his feet as though acknowledging the return of an Early Creature.
He lowered the Crownscale Glimmer gently onto the ground.
Ruination and the Infiniverse Body flanked him without a word, drawn by the stillness and the quiet reverence that clung to the corpse like a final hymn.
A soft chime echoed as he looked at the Early Living Marine Lifeform.
You have slain and acquired the body of Auriamundus, the Crownscale Glimmer. A nutrient-rich Early Living Marine Lifeform. Its flesh will proliferate Complexity and Purity within the Originus Venerant stage. It has flesh that explodes with weaving potential, cutting the forging cost of Living Towers of Origin and Early Living Existential Glyphs by half. As Early Creatures developed, they gathered together while sharing flesh of Early Living Marine Lifeforms in rituals of complexity and purity.
...!
Noah’s eyes gleamed. Even before the next prompt arrived, he had already known to expect it.
Boiling the Crownscale Glimmer in Early Sacred Waters will more than double its effects.
"..."
He turned slowly, his gaze drifting across the vast untouched beauty of the Early Veiled Shore.
Everything here was deliberate. Timeless. Untouched by the conveniences of authority.
The Sacred Waters had rejected command. The glyph-bearing goldfish had demanded hand-to-hand defiance. It meant that creation here had to be earned.
And in this place, that was the most sacred thing of all.
Everything fit and had purpose, so if a prompt said that marine life forms could be boiled by sacred water, which was resistant to authority, then it meant there was a means to do it as the only feasible way was through something that stemmed from these very same veiled shores.
Noah looked around.
At the trees and waters. At the sand.
The...sand?
He gazed down.
His fingers dug lightly into the sand at his feet. It was pale ivory, its warmth delicate but ancient- each grain humming with strange potential.
The Sand of the Early Veiled Shore. Unique in nature, but malleable for a myriad of uses.
He smiled and thought about how he could utilize this to make a tool for the purpose of boiling the Early Living Marine Lifeform. And an answer was...
"Glassification," he muttered.
WAA!
The Infiniverse tilted her head with quiet curiosity, and Noah motioned her over. "Come. Let’s shape the first tool of this place."
The Infiniverse Body nodded silently as radiance burst from her.
Multicolored flames burst from their joined palms, each lick of fire fueled by Living Existential Authority. It melted the sand into thick molten threads, glowing like starlit syrup, and then cooled it slowly with precise infusions of compressed Continuity.
They shaped it with careful strokes, drawing from memory and instinct until something beautiful was gradually born.
It did not take too long!
The shore trembled.
You have created the first artifact of the Early Veiled Shore.
Item Name: Wok of the Primordial Bloom.
Description: A vessel born from Sacred Sand and shaped by Living Existential Authority. When subjected to heat, it emits Early Sacred Flames capable of cooking any entity originating from the Early Veiled Shore.
...!
It was nearly twice Noah’s size, its wide crystalline belly glinting beneath the veil of sacred light, the curved edges swirling with faint sigils of purity.
He nodded once, satisfied.
The Infiniverse carried the glowing wok to the Sacred Waters and, with gentle reverence, filled it with a scoop of that pristine liquid. She returned to where Noah had already called forth the miniature form of his Singed Tower of Origin- its flaming Mythic Signatures rising like effigies of his silhouette, golden robes billowing, holding the tower aloft.
When she placed the wok on its crown- on the top of this Singed Tower of Origin, it accepted the heat like an offering to a sleeping titan!
HUUM!
The waters inside shimmered. Flames curled beneath the surface like embryonic stars. A bloom of aurora spread across the surface of the wok, washing the sands in glistening color.
Noah exhaled, deeply.
He turned then, just in time to see Ruination kneeling beside the fallen Auriamundus, her hands pressing down gently against the creature’s scaled head. Her eyes blazed, her face soft with purpose. Crimson gold brilliance erupted from her palms, flowing into the corpse like threads of celestial silk.
The Living Origin, Ruination, has made a Declaration of Living Existential Proliferation targeting the corpse of the Early Living Marine Lifeform.
The light twisted, condensed, and... split.
When it faded, two new bodies lay beside the original, each the same size, slightly different. Their glyphs pulsed quietly beneath scaled skin.
Noah approached, placing a hand atop her head as her eyes closed with contentment.
"Well done."
She smiled faintly, her pride silent but tangible.
With glory, he lifted the original Crownscale and placed it into the Wok of the Primordial Bloom. The moment its flesh touched the warming Sacred Waters, a sound like soft bells rang out like chimes of a forgotten age.
From the bubbling surface of the wok rose the most intoxicating aroma he had ever known.
It was sweet, yet deep. Rich, yet light. It shimmered with notes of purity, of complexity- like essence itself had been distilled and folded into steam. The scent swirled with Living Origin Authority, wrapping around them all like a blanket of early memory.
Ruination and the Infiniverse moved closer, their expressions growing solemn.
Noah sat, legs folded, bare chest still glinting with drying sacred droplets. The firelight danced along the lines of his body, casting his form in a warlike serenity.
He asked.
"Have you both studied the glyph formation method?"
They nodded in unison.
"Then let’s begin. If we get stuck..." He gestured toward the steaming wok, his smile edged with silent wonder. "...we’ll have a little help here soon."
...!
He closed his eyes.
The world narrowed to the rhythm of his breathing.
The Methodology to form an Early Living Existential Glyph!
Each one requiring 1 Million PQ and CQ!
Inside him, his Lattices shimmered like stars caught in a net. His Complexity and Purity rose, coiling, converging. He summoned it all toward a single point above his brow, and there, a singularity began to bloom.
A seed of something old. Something lost.
In the background, the Early Sacred Flames continued to burn, and the scent of divine nourishment deepened.
Sitting in the midst of it, Noah could not help but feel a sense of fulfillment and happiness, as if a level of peace he always sought...was being achieved in a way be did not expect in this Early Veiled Shore!
—
As wonders bloomed in the center of a Wheel of Existence.
In another corner of the Nullvein Gravewake Folds, in a certain Prison.
"Hmm..."
Thauron was returning towards the wriggling Inevitability that he had left to devour prisoners, his expression that of many complex possibilities as he had received shocking boons for his information about Ozymandias!
Now, if they also knew of his identity as Noah Osmont...if they knew this other part of him was likely in these very same folds and not protected by Living Paradoxes...
But he would not give them everything. Well, maybe not now!
He smiled gleefully as he went forward.
In the distance, the wriggling Inevitability...was silent.
Still.
In the depths of its being, calm and silent eyes were watching the coming Thauron as he had no idea.
Eyes that at this moment...had a Living Seed blooming as they fed from an Inevitability- allowing for impossible things to occur as a silent aura of Living was blooming!
An aura of Purpose and Beginning as at this moment, it would strike to change everything!
