Archer and Ayrenn were sitting in the Domains’ living room, where Elara’s voice echoed in his mind. ‘The Alliance are attaching the North Eastern Wall husband! The Legions are fighting back.’
He jumped up and spoke to the High Elf. ”Relax here for a while, I have to go to Avidia to deal with the enemy armies attacking my walls.”
”Do you want my help?” she said, smiling. ”I’m a skilled healer and can use magic to attack the soldiers.”
Archer nodded. ”Come then, I can introduce you to Elara,” he suggested.
Following that, he opened a Gate to the walls where they stepped through, and Ayrenn started shivering thanks to the cold. Without prompting, he wrapped his cloak around the High Elf, which made her smile.
”Thank you handsome,” she happily thanked him.
Moments later, Elara appeared two seconds later only for her jaw to drop open as she muttered in amazement. ”It’s you! Ayrenn!”
”Huh?” he blurted out, baffled.
The redhead giggled. ”All of us know about the great healer, who rescued our husband in his time of need. Ella and Teuila always remind us about you,” she revealed.
”Oh, those darlings are lovely,” Ayrenn replied with a radiant smile. ”I remember them and Nefertiti. How are those three?”
”Would you like to go see them?” he offered.
The blonde shook her head. ”I can’t leave you here, handsome. What happens if people get her?”
Archer narrowed his eyes before slapping her soft ass. ”Did you forget who healed you?”
She started giggling when remembering their first meeting. ”Oh yes, sorry things have been moving fast and it slipped my mind.”
”You can go see them if you like,” he replied with a chuckle. ”They’re in the palace hiding away thanks to being pregnant.”
When Ayrenn heard this, she looked at Elara with a questioning expression, who nodded in confirmation. ”Yes, there are thirteen pregnant women there, and it’s a headache to be around. They are always bickering thanks to the hormones.”
Archer started laughing and commented. ”Remind me to visit them alone and teleport to them. I know one of them would try to tell me off for something random like Sia did when I offered her food.”
The two giggled in amusement as Elara revealed. ”She felt bad about that, but when it comes to pregnant women and food, it’s strange. They like some to the point the maids have to search Dragonheart City for whatever it is.”
”There’s some foods they can’t even be near without getting violently ill,” Ayrenn explained. ”My sisters were the same with their first pregnancies.”
Archer glanced at the High Elf with a grin. ”Looks like I found my go-to pregnancy expert. I know a bit, but not the whole picture.”
Elara let out a bright giggle before sharing with a knowing smile. ”The girls adore it when you spoil them with attention and pamper them, but bring food or anything with a strong scent, and they’ll chase you out in a heartbeat. Honestly, it’s not their fault; those heightened senses can be overwhelming, especially in such close quarters.”
”Oh right, I’ll stop doing that,” he responded with a chuckle. ”I remember Ari rushing into the bathroom when I was eating a slice of pizza.”
Following that, Acher opened a Gate to the palace as Ayrenn gave him a tight hug and rushed through while shouting Ella’s and Teuila’s names. He dragged Elara along with him, speaking. ”I want to see the others’ reactions to her appearance.”
Seconds later, they trailed behind the High Elf, who was heading straight for Ella’s room but soon enough Teuila appeared with wide eyes. She quickly shook her head and spoke. ”So you’re finally here Ayrenn, how many years has it been now?”
”Nearly ten,” the blonde answered. ”It’s good to see you healthy and happy, Teu, you look good, girl.”
Archer watched the brown-skinned woman beam as she replied. ”Come meet the others, we’ve told them all about you and what you did for Arch.”
The High Elf was suddenly dragged away as more of the women appeared, causing Elara to giggle beside him. ”At least they seem happy nowadays, considering the war is returning.”
”They’ll be isolated from the fighting,” he confidently revealed. ”We need to go check on the sisters, they are causing chaos on Verdantia.”
When Elara heard this, she agreed with a nod as he grabbed her hand and teleported to the necromancer sisters. They materialized on a ruined castle where the white-haired beauty overwatched an undead legion leaving the place.
Morena turned around with a big smile. ”Hello handsome, thank you for letting us come here. We have got so many new prisoners,” she thanked him.
Archer chuckled at her happy expression before hugging the mature beauty. ”You’re welcome, how have things been over here?”
”Our first few days here were perfect,” she answered with a sigh. ”But the Alliance is using church knights to battle the undead; it’s effective to the point we need to retreat within a few hours.”
”Interesting,” he muttered. ”Retreat to the Domain, we’ve done enough damage behind enemy lines. Now we can turn toward Avidia and finish conquering it.”
Moirena nodded in agreement. ”I’ll call back the legion I just sent out, can you open a portal to our lower warehouses, please?” she asked.
Archer didn’t reply as he waved his hand, and a massive portal opened. Just then, Demacia appeared while riding an undead Griffin. The monster landed with a quiet thud as the younger woman jumped off.
”Handsome! Elara! Welcome to our humble abode that will be broken into by day’s end,” she revealed.
”That’s not an issue,” he waved away. ”Pull your forces back, we’re returning to the Domain.”
Following that, Archer sent a message to Demetra and Lucrezia. ‘Swim back to the island, girls, the Alliance fleets are searching for you both.’
Thanks to the flying cats Tressyms, he knew where all the enemy forces were, allowing him to steer everything his way. Moments later, the undead armies entered the Domain, prompting him to expand the sister’s underground warehouses where their soldiers remained.
Half an hour later, the castle was now empty as Morena turned to him with a big smile. ”I’m going to work on some experiments, husband, come see us when you can,” she said.
Archer was just about to reply, but the older woman gave him a passionate kiss before stepping through the portal. Demacia did the same thing with a big smile. ”Thank you for allowing us to do what we want, my love,” she declared.
”I prefer a harem that’s free,” he said with a charismatic smile. ”It makes you all even more beautiful to me when you’re pursuing what you love.”
Demacia couldn’t help but get happy and kissed him once again before she started leading her Blood Crawlers through the portal, leaving Elara stunned. The redhead laughed as she spoke. ”I’m glad these creatures are on our side, I’d hate to fight against them.”
Archer nodded in agreement. ”They are deadly but useful beasts; it takes at least fifty Alliance soldiers to kill one,” he informed the Dragonkin woman.
Following that, once the castle on Verdantia was empty, they returned to the Northern Eastern wall as the Dragonfire Company fired their cannons. He watched as the arc of Mana Blasts slammed into the incoming tide of humanoid monsters.
His eyes narrowed before summoning hundreds of Burrowfiends and Broodmaws that clashed with the enemy army. This slowed the surprise attack, allowing the ranged soldiers to help the monsters.
When Elara saw this, she smiled. ”Amazing, I love how your creatures are always ready to fight and love doing that.”
Archer chuckled as the Broodmaws tore the humanoids apart, as the Burrowfiends slinked around the battlefield, killing anything that got near. Blood flowed into the moat below as bodies followed.
Just then, one of the gates opened, and a group of mounted knights rushed out and crashed into the creatures. They pushed them away from the moat as a pile was growing at the bottom of the wall.
‘Let me get rid of that,’ he thought before taking a deep breath.
Seconds later, Archer let out a stream of violet fire that washed over the enemies and turned them to ash. The flames washed out, leaving his monsters and soldiers unharmed while they killed anything else.
Explosions rang out as Elara commented. ”I believe they are probing the wall, but each one has enough legions defending it to hold off.”
”What about the invasion armies? There are twelve ready to go?” he questioned the redhead.
Elara nodded with an excited expression as she answered. ”Yes, and three guarding each wall.”
Following that, the couple continued watching the battle going off as the monsters pushed back the creepy humanoids. Once it was over, he sent them back to the Domain, allowing them to drag the dead bodies with them.
‘That should feed them for a couple of days,’ he mused.
”I’m going to check on the defences, handsome,” Elara commented. ”Do you mind waiting here for me?”
