The tribulation came to an end and Shi Lang stood in the void, bathed in golden radiance falling from the sky. His body began to heal and the vitality became stronger. The Dao Resonance from his body condensed into shiny particles. A three-petal lotus appeared between his forehead, and the particles began to condense another two petals.
The process was slow, but everyone who watched it was lost in a daze. They were affected by the resonance and at this moment, they were all trying to perceive the answers to the questions in their minds.
Suddenly, Tian Long sighed and said, “Another sword maniac.”
The people from the Asura Hall looked at Yu Xeidi, and found that she was emitting a trace of sword intent. The battle alone was strong enough to push her to scratch the surface of the sword intent. If she worked sincerely then in the future she would definitely become a Sword Fairy.
Shi Tao smiled and her cultivation realm also increased as she mastered the flow of spiritual energy while watching the fight. Shi Lang did have a strong physique, but he was a master of spirit circulation and his battle efficiency was better than almost all the people here. Sensing the flow of energy in his body, she was able to elevate her own status.
Hao Mei made a few seals with her fingers and a blue flame condensed over her finger tip. The people didn’t know how she did it, but she elevated the level of her spirit flame, and subconsciously everyone turned to look at Xiao Meng, who was standing in a daze silently.
Just when they felt thankful about the girl being a normal creature, Xiao Meng grabbed the hilt of her sword and began to dance around with the blade. Tong Bai looked at her blade and raised her brow as she asked, “Is it just me or did she manage to perceive Lang’s sword dance, and her blade caused the void to ripple slightly?”
Fairy Moon Jade nodded and said, “She did comprehend the dance, but the ripple isn’t caused by the spatial laws, but rather, the speed and the vibrations from her sword. She has an innate sword heart, she can see things and develop them to be her own.”
The people nodded, but just a moment later, those who couldn’t comprehend much from the battle sighed and began to think if they have been wasting their lives all this while. The calmest of the entire crowd were probably Jenkins and Darcx, and Commander Silence, because they have long gotten used to the monstrous abilities of this guy and were well aware of the fact on how this man led the others around him to new peaks of strength all the time.
Shi Lang finished receiving the blessing from the Heavenly Radiance, and landed on the ground. He took out a black top with red accents and was about to put it on, when a calm yet sonorous voice echoed in the surroundings, “Heathen, you think just because you have managed to ascend the realm of Dao Emperors you can now fight against our Holy Son of Buddha.”
Following this, an old monk appeared in the void with three other men following him. The three men were also monks and they all looked to be somewhat similar in terms of designation.
Shi Lang raised his brow and asked, “What are you talking about? Who are you?”
The old monk snorted and replied, “Just because you hide yourself doesn’t mean that we cannot find you. The ways of Holy Dao are far too complex for someone like you to understand.”
Shi Lang nodded and said, “Yes, so, I killed the monks who went astray, and I corrected the ones who could be saved. What are you gonna do?”
The monk snorted and said, “We have come here to deliver you to the Supreme Buddha, where he will be the judge of your sins.”
Shi Lang chuckled and said, “Bald donkey, Buddha doesn’t judge sins, he judges the deeds. You have forgotten the true meaning of your own scriptures and here you are trying to make it seem like you are the envoys of the great buddha? You dare to blaspheme his name by such actions. Amitabha, I pray for your salvation, bald donkey.”
His words shocked the four monks; they didn’t expect that Shi Lang would take the initiative to pray for them. However, the old monk in lead scoffed and raised his palm to attack the Terran.
“Justice Palm, Descend.”
A huge Palm appeared in the void and then it fell towards the Terran. Shi Lang sensed something and said, “You guys, make sure that they don’t run away. I will handle the rest, I am itching for a good clobbering session.”
That said, the seal of supreme appeared on his forehead, he raised his head to look at the falling palm and said, “Shura Fist, Lightning Jab.”
He made a quick jab in the void and a punch that was five times smaller than the palm manifestation collided with the palm and then with a loud boom, the palm print was shattered.
Shi Lang stood up calmly, fixed his clothes and he vanished from his spot. The old man narrowed his eyes, but Shi Lang wasn’t targeting him. He appeared next to the monk on the right side. The Terran stood with his arm around the monk’s shoulder and he said, “Well, you look like a good guy, too bad looking at you reminds me of my ass.”
The old monk wanted to attack but he was slapped hard across the face, and he plunged from the sky to the ground like a meteor.
The other monk saw this and cast a punch at Shi Lang, “Vajra Prahar.”
Shi Lang smiled, lightning covered his body and the time slowed down around the two people. The entire world saw them fighting in slow motion. However, Shi Lang was still moving normally.
He dodged the punch, his own fist dug into the abdomen of the monk, causing the latter to cough up bile. Then Shi Lang punched him in the back of the head, knocking him out completely before letting him fall to the ground.
He said, “Two down, two to go.”
The two monks were surprised, they didn’t expect that Shi Lang would be this powerful. He was treating them as if they were children. The old monk began to chant something and Shi Lang said, “You believe in Supreme Zen, but you chant the mantra of Tathagata. Huh, hypocrite. Shame on you for not having firm faith.”
These words were enough to cause the old monk to shiver before he coughed up blood, as the technique was disrupted and it gave him a strong backlash. In the meantime, Shi Lang caught up with the last monk, and dislocated his jaw with a punch and threw him on the ground as well.
The leading monk was the only one left to fight against Shi Lang, however, this man had been injured and he couldn’t harm Shi Lang in his present state.
The Terran sighed and said, “Old Monk, I alerted my friends to watch out if any of you were to run away and you just wasted the chance without even trying. How is this fair?”
The monk was shivering as he stepped back and gradually fell to the ground. Shi Lang walked over and while walking, he practiced his punches and said, “Xiao Bing, if you want me to stop now is the time.”
Hou Bing appeared behind him and said, “Nah, go on, I want you to let loose once before you set off to the war.”
Shi Lang raised his brows and he froze as he asked, “Wait, what war?”
Hou Bing shrugged and said, “Did you think that it would be a duel with Zen Supreme?”
Shi Lang sighed and he waved his hand to her, and then he approached the bald monk laying on the ground and then he sat down on the old man’s chest and began to rain down punches. The impact caused the ground to shake.
However, the old man had tempered his body nicely and served as a proper punching bag for Shi Lang. The young man was very disciplined, it took him half an hour to deform the face of the old monk into a pig’s head. Then he considerately asked, “So, bald donkey, do you realize your mistake?”
The old monk’s face was so swollen that, let alone speaking, he was even having trouble when he inhaled air. Hou Bing walked up and said, “Lang, let him go, the spirit imprint inside his soul has been broken. Wait a minute, Lang, you dog! You comprehended the laws of soul and used them to shatter the spirit imprint without causing any damage to his actual soul. Sick move!”
Shi Lang stood up, fixed his clothes and said, “Huh, who are you looking down on little birdie. Daddy isn’t called Ace of Terrans for nothing.”
