Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough
Chapter 242: Reuniting with Qing Yi and Chu Yang
Chapter 242: Reuniting with Qing Yi and Chu Yang
"Thanks for the help earlier…" Walking down a hallway in the Alchemy Hall, Peng Yun turned around and thanked the woman walking beside him.
Earlier, he had felt troubled when the two elders continued to ask him all sorts of different questions regarding alchemy and felt himself starting to grow more exhausted with each question he answered.
The woman beside him was the one who had stepped in a saved him from further questioning as she volunteered to show him where he was going to stay over the next period of time.
"No problem, I hope we will be able to work together in the future and learn from each other!" Nodding her head as she continued walking without saying anything, both Peng Yun and Wan Qiu silently arrived at the end of the hallway.
"This is the room you will be staying in for now, there is a space dedicated to alchemy and if you need any herbs, you can request them from the Alchemy Hall, and we will provide them as long as it is not something too precious! If there is anything else, you can contact me or the other elders! I will take my leave for now; we will see each other again tomorrow!" Stopping at a door located at the end of the hallway, Wan Qiu looked over at Peng Yun as she told him this before turning around and taking her leave.
Peng Yun stood still for a moment and observed Wan Qiu disappear down another hallway as he suddenly discovered a small token with alchemy hall engraved into it in his left hand.
Did she give it to me before leaving…?
Thinking about this, Peng Yun put away the token before entering the room he had been allocated.
Bzzt~
A weird sound was heard from the door as Peng Yun touched it, with his experience, he easily concluded that defensive formation was in place on the door and had prevented him from entering.
"Maybe this is what the token is for…?" Muttering this, Peng Yun took out the token Wan Qiu had given to him and placed it against the door as it lit up followed by the defensive formation around the door disappearing.
Creak~
Entering the room, Peng Yun was left a bit bewildered as he watched the large room in front of him, there was everything he could wish for. From a cauldron used in pill making to different exotic tools rarely used for alchemy.
Peng Yun truly felt he had everything he needed for making his special potions outside of the expensive herbs required, but he did not really expect for the Flying Sword Sect to just have such rare and precious herbs laying around randomly. Let alone giving them to him for free…
Looking around the room as he soon found a bedroom besides the alchemy workspace, Peng Yun soon discovered that he had a small private garden accessible through another entrance to his bedroom as well.
The small private garden was completely encased in the Alchemy Hall and the only way in was from an opening at the top where light came in or through the door in his bedroom and a few windows leading into the workspace.
Peng Yun had an amazed expression on his face as he walked through the small private garden admiring the small artificial stream along with the pond connected to it with a few fish happily swimming around without a care in the world.
This is not bad… Not bad at all…
Thinking this to himself as he sat down at a chair located near the small pond in the garden, Peng Yun felt himself relaxing while watching the fish swim around the pond.
He had truly not expected to be able to live in such a great environment and Elder Xuan had even arranged for him to be an alchemist he met on the way coming to teach for a few months before leaving…
The Flying Sword Sect truly was a good place…
Like this, Peng Yun quietly fell asleep on the chair as he began to look forward to his next few months at the Flying Sword Sect.
No matter what, he would use this time to learn as much about the alchemy at the Flying Sword Sect as he could! After all, the Flying Sword Sect might not excel at alchemy, but they were still a sect that had lasted for a long time!
Their knowledge and records on alchemy was far superior and more complete compared to what someone like Peng Yun, a former treasure hunter, would ever be able to get his hands on.
This could also be considered one of the reasons why his alchemy ended up taking such a unique path as he did not really know how to improve further and could only find a way by himself. Resulting in his weird, yet dangerous potions.
…
"Elder Xuan!"
At the same time that Peng Yun got settled into the Alchemy Hall, Xuan Hao had returned back to his pavilion again and soon spotted his two disciples walking together with Bai Ning as he called out to him the moment he appeared in front of the pavilion.
""Master!""
Qing Yi and Chu Yang on the other hand, were too absorbed talking to each other to notice him when he appeared and instead only reacted when they heard Bai Ning as both of them happily greeted Xuan Hao at the same time.
"It's great to see both of you again and Bai Ning, it looks like you are along pretty well with both Qing Yi and Chu Yang." Seeing the excited expressions appear on both his disciples faces after seeing him, Xuan Hao suddenly felt a weird feeling appear inside of him as his two disciples rushed over to him together with Bai Ning.
"Master! Is Bai Ning going to be our new junior brother!?" Chu Yang was the first to speak up as he seemed to have already guessed that Xuan Hao planned to take in Bai Ning as his third disciple.
"Haha, I do have plans for that, but let's wait a bit and allow him to adapt to life here for a little longer before that." Saying this in a low voice, Xuan Hao watched Bai Ning nervously making his way over in the distance.
Both Qing Yi and Chu Yang had suddenly left him behind, causing him to freeze on the spot for a few seconds before he realized they had already made their way over the Elder Xuan!
"Master is it really true that you killed the large stone snake in the Spring Flower Sect's territory! I heard from Bai Ning that the giant snake was extremely terrifying and violent as it destroyed several nearby barley fields!" Asking this, Qing Yi looked up at Xuan Hao with a look of reverence present in her eyes.
"Indeed, it was quite a difficult fight…" Retelling the story of himself fighting against the stone snake personally, both Qing Yi and Chu Yang had a look of amazement on their face as they both felt how terrifying the stone snake that their master had defeated was!
Even though they had no idea what realm the stone snake was at, they were sure that it should at least be incredibly strong inside the Nascent Soul Realm!
Bai Ning who had experienced the battle first-hand from a distance inside the city also added on a few details that Xuan Hao missed.
For example, Xuan Hao learned that a large part of the barely field they were fighting on or close to most of the time had been ripped out of the ground and was flung directly into the city where it had crushed a small vegetable stand.
With the passing of time as Xuan Hao told his disciples about his adventures in the secret realm together with Chi Hu and his encounter with the treasure hunters, Qing Yi, Chu Yang and even Bai Ning listening from the side felt more and more amazed the more they learned.
Secret Realm. Underground Palaces and dangerous Domain Lord Realm Experts and demon beasts!
All the different dangers described by their master truly gave them all a freight as all three of them learned how terrifying the world was!
But this was not the most amazing thing about their master's adventure. No. It was the fact that the stone snake that their master fought against was at the Domain Lord Realm!
Didn't this mean that their master was a Domain Lord Realm Expert!?
The look of reverence in his disciple's eyes after he explained that the stone snake was at the Domain Lord Realm was a little too unbearable for Xuan Hao and he decided not to correct their misunderstanding about him being in the Domain Lord Realm…
After all, given his domain growing stronger and stronger at a constant rate. Nearing completion ever so slightly with each passing moment, Xuan Hao estimated that he would at most need one more week before breaking through!
"It has already gotten so late by now; I will teach both of you along with Bai Ning tomorrow morning. For now, go back and rest well." Seeing that it had already grown late, Xuan Hao instructed his disciples and Bai Ning to rest for the night.
He had already planned to take teaching his disciples more seriously and he was not one to slack off after deciding on something!
""Yes, Master!"" Both Qing Yi and Chu Yang happily agreed to what Xuan Hao said and made their way into the pavilion together with Bai Ning.
Both Qing Yi and Chu Yang had looked forward to their master coming back specifically for an opportunity to be taught by him!
