It was a makeshift plan for Raze, but when he urgently needed to appear in front of cameras and screens, he needed to think of something to hide his identity fast. He had given away the robe that covered his face, and the effects of the robe, in the first place, were subpar compared to the blazer that he had.
So he had used his Dark Magic to cover his robe, as well as his face. Constantly activating it was a hard task, but Raze didn't worry too much about running out of mana at the time. If he did, then simply his body would have disappeared, and he still had his special Cursed Pill that could have activated.
The answer that Alen had given him in order to beat Time Magic was to activate his Dark Magic first. So this was one way, but he would quickly lose the fight doing so. So the answer was to enchant his current equipment with a type of Dark Magic enchantment.
'When enchanting with Dark Magic, there are two ways. To use the effect of Dark Magic, creating a higher-tier item, but making it cursed in the process. Or secondary was to attach an attribute of Dark Magic itself. In this case, it would work more like a regular enchantment on an item.
'The best thing to do is to enchant the current blazer I have, but to try and do that and figure out a way not to interfere with the current effects of the product. It might be difficult for me to do. Unless there is an equal amount of power behind the enchantment, one would just absorb the other... on top of that, it would mean altering the blazer that was left for me by Sabrina.'
It was a lot for Raze to think about, but it was a good chance, a step in the right direction to allow him to best Henio's time magic, to have a more even playing ground when fighting him, and Sabrina's item would still be aiding him; he would still have the last thing that was crafted by her hands.
"Is everything okay, Dark Magus!" Harvey shouted again, since he realized Raze had been silent for a while.
"Yes, all is well. For now, as I said, stay low, stay on top of any changes by the Grand Magus and the guilds in general, and wait for my return. I don't know when I will be back, but it seems you have a good system in place to be notified. You have done a good job, Harvey. And as for you, Kelly, I can't thank you enough for this information; it has helped clear my head."
Both of them were smiling inside as they placed their faces towards the floor. They didn't want the Dark Magus to see the dumb look on their faces, even if it was covered up by the special effect of their robe.
"With that, I will see the two of you off," Raze said. He had finished his task early, and now it was time for him to prepare weapons and head to the funeral of Belil in the Neverfall Clan. As he was ready to disintegrate his magic and break the astral projection spell, he saw Sophie landing right in front of them. She let out a loud snarl towards Raze, and all the hairs on her black body stood up. Soon, Dark Magic came out from her body.
"What's going on?" Raze thought, canceling his spell, noticing that something was up.
Soon words started to form in the air with Dark Magic, spelling out a message.
"Something happened at the manor?" Raze read out loud.
The Dark Magic disappeared and started to reform once again.
"To the girl, that man's sister."
There was only one manor that Raze and Sophie had been to together, and that was Alen's. As for the girl, it could only be his sister.
After a tough day, Alen had decided to head back to the manor for some much-needed rest. He knew the days ahead weren't going to be easy. It would be filled with answering questions to the police, to the Radiant Order, and more.
On top of that, he didn't even know what he wanted to do with the information he had learned. When he had headed inside and sat down on his sofa, looking up, he noticed something.
'Is there a hole in the ceiling... Where did that come from?' Alen thought.
As he stood up, he ventured upstairs into the room. "Aurora! Aurora!" Alen shouted, but there was no reply. "Was she playing with some type of magic and made that hole? Did she go out without telling me... but she wouldn't have in this situation."
Alen decided to search, and just in case, he also asked any of the guards and staff around, but not a single person had seen her. It wasn't too strange; she was an adult and could do things herself. R̃АΝօBÈṡ
With magic, it wouldn't be a surprise if no one saw her as well, but with everything that had happened, he was just a little on edge, believing that something just didn't feel right.
'I know she says I already nag her too much, but the Dark Guild members are out there in public; she needs to be careful. I wonder what happened to Jake as well?' Alen thought. Using his wrist device, he tried to connect to her, but there was nothing, no response, no signal, no answer; it just didn't connect. The wrist device could be used from anywhere in the world; the only time they wouldn't work was if they were broken.
"What happened..."
At the same time, Raze was reading in detail through Sophie's Dark Magic what had exactly occurred. He feared that Sophie might have accidentally killed her, but the reality of the situation might have been far worse.
"You're saying, a portal opened right in front of her... and she got sucked into it?"
