Chapter 4454: Fourth Year
Fourth year, sixth month of the Covenant.
"Waah~ Waaa~"
The cry of a newborn echoed throughout the chamber while a group of children surrounded a baby who was crying out loud. The children were at a loss since they were just playing, but the baby suddenly burst out crying with its bottom lips out.
The baby’s hair was golden with a tune of white strands in a sporadic manner. The baby was wrapped in a soft, blue blanket, its green eyes filled with emotion. This pair of beautiful yet tearful eyes scanned the surroundings, searching for someone.
"Children, don’t scare my lovely Eden. He doesn’t do well with a crowd, so if you’re going to play, only a few of you can be with him."
The baby saw its mother and lifted its hand up within the blanket, wanting to be lifted up.
"My baby~" Natalya lifted up Eden and lightly comforted him with an embrace and a lovely kiss on his cheek.
She repeatedly kissed Eden’s cheek, finally calming him down.
Natalya then slowly gave Eden to Azariel, who was stumped but still received the baby in his arms. His sharp eyes softened, and he smiled at the others who also got closer to see Eden up close. He was just too cute, in their opinion, making them unable to resist.
"Hehe~" Natalya silently giggled, "Children, your mother Schleya just returned, so I need to go and see what’s going on."
"Really!? That’s great. Is mother also back?" Ragna asked.
Natalya maintained a smile, "I don’t think she did. However, I believe she will be back soon as she is working hard to return to us."
"Oh..." Ragna’s expression turned a bit disappointed.
The same could be said about little Noctis and little Styx, who were seven years old now. They had re-entered time chambers, spending their time there training and cultivating since they didn’t have their mother back home and the classes for the second class had resumed.
"Don’t worry. Nothing will happen to Nadia. Now I’ll go and listen to what they have and bring back some secrets. Children, until then, will you take care of my Eden?"
"We will!"
"Mhm~"
The children answered, causing Natalya to nod satisfactorily before she gazed at Azariel.
"I’m depending on you, Azariel."
"Don’t worry, second mother. I’ll keep an eye on little brother Eden. Little sister Azalea is also here with us on this day of get-together. It’s unexpected that Mother Schleya returned, but you should go see her."
"Good child." Natalya patted his shoulder before she looked at little Azalea, who was now a year old.
She had her hand clasped with Quentin, who was one and a half years old.
The two of them were so adorable that she would love to lift them up and hug them, but she was in a hurry, so she gave one last look to her little baby Eden Davis, whom Davis named after she said that she wanted him to be delightful and happy, born to experience the pleasures of life.
He said it also fits his innate physique, so she was more than happy to accept this name for her child.
Natalya walked out of the children’s playroom, which was a big chamber, and made her way to the place where the others gathered.
Davis was already out of seclusion and was beside her when she underwent labor. Afterward, he made love with everyone since they were all longing for him, and the past few days, she knew he would return to seclusion, so she wondered if Schleya managed to catch him.
She arrived at the hall and looked at Schleya and the others waiting for Davis to come.
She noted that out of the seven people who went to the Nether Dimension, only Schleya, Nyoran, and Azbel had returned. As expected, Nadia did not return.
She wondered what had happened. However, Schleya already said that the situation wasn’t dire but needed to be looked at with all seriousness, so everyone was silent and waiting for Davis.
Finally, he arrived with Fiora by his side five minutes later.
Natalya’s brows raised as she hadn’t seen her little sibling for a while. She looked more sharper, and there was a prickly feeling when she gazed at her. Her aura was still active at Level Nine Immortal Emperor Stage, which meant that they had been dual cultivating both their energy, which was of the wind attribute. It also looked like her cultivation could pop time with how bloated her aura felt as though it wanted to break free.
If she remembered correctly, Fiora did say that her cultivation manual wasn’t far off from reaching the Empyrean Stage, so she knew it was only a matter of time before she reached the Empyrean Stage.
Davis also arrived, his wind aura quite active.
It could be seen they were probably doing this for weeks that their bodies remembered to emulate the circulation of wind energy- annihilative wind energy. Regardless, Davis walked towards Schleya and hugged her first.
Schleya’s cold face also produced a smile unwittingly.
"Don’t worry. Everything’s fine. We’re just here to say a few things so that you all won’t be alarmed."
"Is that so?"
Davis asked before he moved back and sat on the grand-looking golden couch his wives had bought for no reason, and he dual cultivated with Evelynn above it on the same night. He flicked his sleeve and sat coolly before gesturing at Schleya to speak.
Schleya explained everything from the start to the end. However, she wasn’t good with words, so Nyoran also filled in.
Davis suspected that their journey wasn’t over yet, and his doubts came true.
As they listened, everyone became shocked that they found the Nether Springs Death Wolf Clan, who were able to battle Peak Exalts just by using the power of the Divine Nether Totem.
Davis nearly fell from the couch, but hearing that it was limited to a region and couldn’t be used outside the region, much less the dimension, he somewhat calmed. Still, he didn’t think such power was possible. What kind of prowess increase was that from a Level Nine Immortal Emperor Beast?
He raised his fingers up and counted that to be above thirty-five levels higher at a minimum.
However, such an increase seemed to be only achievable by the Patriarch of the Nether Springs Death Wolf, who seemed to be Quasi Mythical Tier Beast or at least self-proclaimed. If he considered that Patriarch’s battle prowess to be nine levels higher, then that was still an increase of twenty-six levels higher, which was simply crazy to him, even if it was an external power.
Even the Godskull didn’t generate that kind of power. However, considering Godskull was an increase in level in the Divine Exalt Stage, he supposed that wasn’t true.
"The power of nether-death energy lies in its ability to store or extract and unleash the faith of dead beings and combined with the Divine Nether Totem that is made from the bones of those same dead beings, and the result is terrifying like a fusion of two extremes coming together."
Davis exhaled, his voice full of astonishment, "No wonder the Nether Springs Death Wolf Clan managed to survive in such an environment. But what about Nadia? Is she still in the Bloodspring Chamber? Will she be fine?"
"No," Schleya answered, nearly causing their hearts to drop.
However, they heard her continue.
