Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong
Chapter 2054 - 1151: Return to the Land Where Time Stands Still (Part 2)Chapter 2054: Chapter 1151: Return to the Land Where Time Stands Still (Part 2)
The current 50 or so main forces corps under my command, excluding 40 that have successively entered the battlefield area, consist mostly of the soldiers of the Moon Chaser Clan.
Seeing that the defenses were fully deployed, and after confirmation by Leo Ray, Elder Bing set the teleportation destination at a mountain area near Ster City.
This location is in the southern part of the central region of Grim and is quite distant from the Holy City to the north. Leo Ray arranged it this way to prevent Gannon the Ninth from noticing any clues.
This figure has sat on the Pope’s throne for over a century and is a Chosen Son of God who shouldn’t exist; no one knows the true extent of his power and whether he could sense anything unusual.
So, being cautious, Leo Ray made the above arrangements. After all, this is an important secret card of ours, and as long as we confirm we can operate here, the goal will be perfectly achieved.
“Your Excellency, the teleportation has started!”
As Elder Bing’s voice just fell, through the magic projection on the wall, it could be seen that Ice Stone City has already entered the familiar Blue Boundary Area.
In a flash, when the entire city was once again bathed in brilliant sunlight, Leo Ray noticed.
In the distance stood Ster City, which he had just recently gained control of.
Gazing at the Holy Lion’s Prince Flag and the Shadow Lord Flag symbolizing his territory on the walls of Ster City, a hint of joy appeared again on Leo Ray’s face.
This undoubtedly means that another extremely important secret card is in my hands!
After this, Leo Ray instructed Elder Bing to visit some surrounding areas, reaching as far as the Glimmer Fortress controlled by Catherine, almost spanning the entire central region of the Grim Kingdom, before returning to the mountainside area near Ster City.
This place is on high ground, surrounded by steep mountains on three sides, with a waterfall and a rapid river gushing down from the cliff in front, making it the perfect spot to hide a city.
Once everything was fully deployed, Leo Ray had just sat in the Command Hall for a bit when a mind talk prompt sounded.
Upon connecting, it was Taylor’s boisterous voice tinged with joy: “Reporting to you, Lord, we in the Winged People’s Barrier Region found a hidden teleportation array leading directly to a completely new Sky Island, where many astonishing things were discovered!”
“Oh?”
Leo Ray’s eyes brightened, and he immediately responded, “Wait a moment, I’ll be right there.”
After turning off the mind talk, Leo Ray nodded to Elder Bing, instructing, “Elder, stay here on standby. I will redeploy Qiana and other elite Moon Chaser warriors from the front line to guard here at Ice Stone City with you. I’ll notify everyone if necessary.”
Leo Ray had long stocked this Land of Divine Favor with enough food reserves and various supplies to ensure the Half-elves have no worries for a century, so there’s no concern about survival.
Meanwhile, a fully equipped communication magician subordinate team is stationed here, capable of promptly conveying Leo Ray’s orders.
“Rest assured, Your Excellency, I’m ready to showcase my skills anytime.”
Elder Bing, full of fighting spirit, rubbed his hands eagerly.
“With the decisive battle imminent, surely there will soon be opportunities for you to demonstrate your prowess.”
Leo Ray smiled slightly and departed from this Land of Divine Favor with Jasper Richardson after bidding farewell to everyone in the Command Hall.
Afterward, Leo Ray didn’t hesitate and, using the teleportation network in Ster City, swiftly arrived at the Hall of Lord’s Mansion in Mystara City.
“Salute to you, Lord!”
Upon seeing Leo Ray appear, Taylor, Red Night, Shor, and the two leaders of the submissive races, Gunner Santons and Finn Stanley, who had been waiting, immediately placed their hands on their chests to greet him with full respect.
“No need for formalities; you’ve all worked hard. Show me the new hidden area right away.”
Leo Ray, eager and impatient, nodded to them.
Entering the Barrier Area through the hall’s teleportation portal, Leo Ray soon found himself in that long-lost aerial square.
“Seeing this scene anytime indeed fills one’s heart with shock.”
Leo Ray, gazing at the expansive area equivalent to more than a dozen football fields, couldn’t help but sigh inwardly.
The vast square was mottled and dilapidated, exuding an ancient and timeworn aura.
The dry, broken fountain, the destroyed flower beds, the rusty metal chairs, and the grass wildly overgrown—all covered in a layer of historical gray, leaving one with a sense of melancholy.
These are not the most striking sights.
Upon glance, the square is densely populated with silhouettes, numbering in the thousands, all stone statues of human-form.
These statues, with wings on their backs, varied postures, and differing heights, are lifelike.
Moreover, regardless of their location, all the statues were uniformly gazing diagonally upward over the square with twisted expressions full of fear, as if witnessing the advent of an apocalypse.
Needless to say, these are parts of the petrified Winged Race residents here.
At the square’s end, several large domed white buildings stand, juxtaposed against the splendid sky outside the Sky Island, imparting a sense of seclusion like an ethereal castle in the sky.
Leo Ray recalls that a row of teleportation arrays existed in front of the white buildings at the square’s end, leading to the City Hall area where the Wind and Cloud Wings were previously found and several training ground-equipped barracks.
According to the map of the Barrier Region drawn by Adams and the estimated Winged Race population, even the scale of several barracks was insufficient, indicating many hidden areas remain undiscovered.
“My lord, the newly discovered teleportation passage of ours is located inside one of these barracks!”
Taylor placed a hand on his chest to salute, then continued leading the way.
Under the guidance of Taylor and others, Leo Ray quickly reached a new Sky Island filled with dome-shaped buildings through the teleportation array at the square’s end.
The Sky Island was dotted with towering arrow towers and magic towers; each building engraved with emblems of the Wind and Cloud Wings, further complemented by weapon racks and numerous large and small training fields scattered around, exuding a faint, murderous ambiance—its functionality clearly evident.
However, it was still filled with petrified Winged Race soldiers, as could be plainly seen.
As many anxious-looking Winged soldiers just barely exited the barracks before being completely frozen in place.
While Taylor guided Leo Ray deeper into the barracks, he took notice of his surroundings.
Here and there, imposing figures of stricken Winged Race soldiers were visible, showcasing various dynamic postures, lifelike in their stony rigidity.
Among the jumble of pristine marble tiles which were neatly stacked in a corner, the floor preserved neat traces left by the tile placements. And at the end of the warehouse, there lay a covert stairway.
“Well done, Taylor.”
Leo Ray nodded in approval as he entered the building.
He further observed as he ventured into the barracks.
Curious, Leo Ray asked, “So, what did you find there that’s so astonishing to everyone?”
Red Night, wearing a complicated expression on his fair face, responded, “My Lord, I never imagined that the ancient Winged Race could create such things.”
Taylor, his rugged face filled with solemnity, added, “It’s really hard to describe it with words.”
After their words, the other subordinates also nodded in agreement.
“Alright, you all are full of secrets, aren’t you?”
Leo Ray smirked slightly, then after bidding farewell to everyone in the hall, he proceeded with Jasper Richardson to leave this Land of Divine Favor.
