Evolution From the Big Tree

Chapter 881: The Gods and Titans in the Land of Exile

A short while after Nine Tails sealed Mountain Titan…

In the Land of Exile, located in the deepest part of the Realm of Void…

A monstrous figure, resembling Gods and Demons, sat quietly, cross-legged. His eyes happened to be closed, and his face as calm as still lake, undisturbed by any ripple.

Naturally so. As a Tier-5 Transcendent True God, what had he not seen before?

Although he had never been imprisoned like this, the Titan Star Domain also had places where powerful beings were suppressed. Back then, he even guarded such a place for some time.

“However… To use an entire Small World as a prison… the Demon Court truly has immense audacity…” Mountain Titan murmured to himself, his expression growing grim and serious.

[Who could have imagined that a power like this would arise in such a remote Star Domain? It’s utterly unprecedented. And yet, this Force is anything but ordinary. That beast alone possessed a Physique rivaling my own. If it were not for the Divine Pillar, the outcome of our encounter would be uncertain.

Then there’s that Fox Demon; she bound me with a single move, leaving me no chance to resist. And now, I’m imprisoned in this barren and desolate Small World.]

Suddenly, seemingly sensing something, Mountain Titan’s lips curled into a smile as he stated, “How unexpected… There’s another God imprisoned here?”

Gods were an extremely rare and terrifying race.

Currently, in the Land of Exile, the only God imprisoned was the God of War from Elysia. With an iron will, he stubbornly refused to submit to the Demon Court. Thus, eternal imprisonment became his everlasting fate.

“You… Are you an idiot? Do you want me to die faster? I barely managed to break through the restrictions blocking my senses in the Land of Exile, and extend my consciousness… and now you’re messing with me…” A string of complaints followed, the voice filled with dissatisfaction.

“Uh…Restrictions…” Suspicious, Mountain Titan looked around, and finally noticed that this prison was teeming with restrictions, though only effective on Tier-4 Transcendents.

For a Tier-5 True God like him, they were mostly powerless.

But then…

As if realizing something, Mountain Titan asked, “You just said this place is… the Land of Exile?”

“Yes, the Land of Exile.” In a tone filled with resentment, the God of Orcs’ voice echoed with anger, “This is where the Demon Court imprison the strong. There’s no life here, no Spiritual Energy, nothing at all… All we can do is wait for our energy to gradually deplete, until we are utterly drained…”

“I see…” Mountain Titan gave a calm response as he confirmed his surroundings.

[Indeed, it’s just as he said. There is no life here, no Spiritual Energy—only an endless deathly silence.]

But then, as if another thought occurred to him, Mountain Titan suddenly spoke again, “You don’t seem ordinary yourself. How did you end up imprisoned here? And what exactly is the Demon Court? How can it be so terrifying?”

A series of questions poured out, driven by Mountain Titan’s curiosity.

“Hmph… Why should I tell you…?”

“Uh…” Slightly stunned, Mountain Titan could only sigh in resignation.

He realized his approach had been too abrupt.

However, after a brief pause, a smile appeared on his face as he tried to entice the God of Orcs, “I do know quite a bit about the cultivation method of the Gods… I could share some with you…”

As he spoke, Mountain Titan did not wait for the God of Orcs to respond and continued, “Back then, there was a Fire God who fed on ten thousand flames, nurturing Divinity…”

One story after another, filling the once deathly silent Land of Exile with a rare sense of vitality.

Meanwhile, deep within the Demon Court’s Realm of Life…

The Ten Great Divine Beasts stood facing one another, while the Demon Master—Golden Monkey—and the Princess of the Demon Court, Ling Er, sat regally at the northern and southern ends.

“Now that Mountain Titan has been subdued, what should be our next move?” Ling Er asked, her lips curving into a faint smile from her throne.

“He’s not easy to handle. That guy is quite a handful…” Golden Monkey chuckled bitterly, shaking his head in exasperation.

“What’s so difficult about it? The guy’s already been suppressed. We either kill him or imprison him forever.” White Tiger growled, slamming his fist on the table with a snort. [Damn it, he almost seriously injured Fourth Brother. What’s there to hesitate about?]

But as White Tiger’s voice echoed in the room, he suddenly sensed the shift in atmosphere and looked up—realizing all eyes were now fixed on him.

“Uh… Did I say something wrong?” With a hint of confusion, White Tiger scratched his head, unsure of what he had missed.

*Sigh…* With a sigh, Ling Er shook her head helplessly and stated, “If only it were as simple as you say. Not to mention that he himself is a Tier-5 True God, but the Titan Star Domain behind him is not to be trifled with. You need to understand, this guy is different from the usual powerhouses we exile. He has a truly strong backing… If we truly kill him, it could cause an uproar in the entire Titan Star Domain, and there’s even the possibility that the Titans might declare an all-out war against us.”

Ling Er’s each word carried a sense of caution.

While the Demon Court no longer feared a full-scale war with the Titan Star Domain, the problem was that the Titans were only one of many races in the starry sky.

They had just begun their rise to the stars, so to provoke such a formidable enemy early on would make the future difficult for them.

Moreover, besides Mountain Titan, the Titan Star Domain openly boasted eleven Divine Pillars. Each of them wielded a Divine Artifact.

If an all-out war broke out, and their Master did not intervene, the Demon Court and the Titan Star Domain would both suffer heavy losses, with severe casualties on both sides.

Such an outcome would be highly unfavorable to the Demon Court, which had just started to gain momentum.

At this moment, after listening to Ling Er’s analysis, Golden Monkey, who had been pondering for a while, spoke up, “Actually, we don’t need to complicate things too much. After all, until now, we haven’t had any fundamental conflicts with the Titan Star Domain… Mountain Titan entered our Star Domain because, first, he did not know; and second, due to the Zergs…

Since the Zerg are our allies, and this is a secret for now, there’s no need to worry too much. Considering everything, we can use Mountain Titan to our advantage, perhaps to make some demands from the Titan Star Domain, or even exchange him for some valuable resources…”
