Tongtong, sweet as ever, after saying these words, planted a kiss on Bai Yiyi’s face, making Bai Yiyi laugh and then she picked her up and sat back down.

Seeing Zhang Siming staring in disbelief, Bai Yiyi, showing no embarrassment or intention to hide, wore an apologetic smile and said, “I’m sorry, Mr. Zhang, perhaps your aunt hadn’t told you, I’m an unmarried mother, Tongtong is my daughter.”

Zhang Siming was still stunned, looking at Bai Yiyi, not comprehending her words at first.

Bai Yiyi felt somewhat relieved, she placed Tongtong on one leg, freeing a hand to pull out her wallet, “Mr. Zhang, I’ll treat you to this coffee today, my apologies.”

She placed the money on the table and picked up Tongtong, ready to leave.
