Sylas leapt from tree to tree. Eventually, he came to a stop.
Ahead, he found Nosphaleen taking deep breaths, the corpses of enormous dinosaur beasts littered around her. It was clear that she was fatigued, but she was also doing her best to follow Sylas’ orders.
There was no doubt that if it wasn’t for her, Casstle Main would have long been overrun.
The information that he wanted about Cassarae’s necklace had already been transferred to him. According to her, the necklace was in the Legacy headquarters.
As for exactly how to get there, surprisingly enough, even Lauren had no method. According to Lauren’s memories, even Legendary talents personally labeled by the headquarters had to be escorted there, taken in by unknown figures.
It seemed that Legacy still had more secrets in store for him, but Sylas was truly unmoved by it all. His mental state had been elevated to another level, and he felt like he was observing everything from a much higher plane.
He descended from the tree, crossing through the air and holding out a palm. Three Corrupt Runes took shape, jetting through the skies with great speed.
They slammed into the head of three T‑Rexes, causing them to freeze in place.
He might have learned this Rune in an elevated state of Will and enlightenment, but it hadn’t left him just because he was out of that state.
It was very useful and had probably instantly become the best offensive Rune in his arsenal.Although his Glassvolt Runes had lightning aspects to them, and Lightning Aether was well known for its offensive properties, for obvious reasons it wasn’t so straightforward to use.
His lightning was better used for area control and movement than for offense, though it certainly had far better offensive abilities than he would usually otherwise have.
Funny enough, these Corrupt Runes weren’t very good offensively either. They were designed to do exactly that: corrupt, weed out the mind, and spoil the body.
It was more a slow-acting poison than anything.
This just went to show how poor Sylas’ offensive capabilities were to begin with. Even now, maybe his best offensive option was an FF+ [Psychedelic Punch] Skill.
He would definitely need to shore that up very soon.
Luckily… he had a second Class slot for that.
The T‑Rexes found themselves shuddering, their minds shattered by Sylas’ Will in an instant of time.
Three Glassvolt blades formed in the skies, sparking with white-green flames and descending like executioner blades.
The King Beasts were split in three and Sylas felt the load on his body lighten considerably.
His Demerit status was gone.

He exhaled a breath.
After giving Nosphaleen a nod for a job well done, he pulled her back into the Hibernation Realm. She would recover much faster there anyway.
Honestly speaking, his connection with Gogo made it obvious that he should put more effort into bonding with his Contracts. But by the same token, he wasn’t quite sure how to proceed. ℝÁ𐌽ốBË𐌔
He just wasn’t the sort of person to attach himself to others easily, and he certainly wasn’t good at faking it. It was unlikely it would work even if he did try to fake it in the first place.
But, all things considered, it would probably be easier with the Glasirith and the Bone-Tailed Lizard. With Nosphaleen, though…
He honestly had no idea how to proceed.
Unlike the other three, she wasn’t a baby. And second, she was a woman—a woman that had oddly sexual quirks. It was hard to fathom a close relationship with her that didn’t involve that sort of thing, and quite frankly, Sylas had no interest in it at all.
At the same time, he knew that a close relationship with his Contracts was necessary. That was because, as of right now, he could only use Total Merge so seamlessly with the Basilisk King.
That didn’t seem like a big deal, and honestly it wasn’t. The Basilisk King was probably the only one of them that he would want to use it with in the first place.
The issue was that if this happened with Total Merge, it was likely that there were other things soon to be unlocked that would require the same thing.
Still… he had a long way to get there. The cost for every upgrade was only growing wilder, and then there was how he would upgrade his Profession to E‑Grade to consider.
As great as these Legendary Professions were, they were only as useful as their Levels. Something told him… crossing that barrier definitely wouldn’t be so easy.
Sylas exhaled a calm breath. He continued to walk forward.
Something in this world was calling out to him. And now that the giggles were clearer in his ears, he could finally hear it.
No, it wasn’t just that. It was also that his mind was clear of the Greed that fogged the sights of everyone else.
Unlike the others staked to the altar… he had managed to wake up all on his own. That allowed him to see this Dynamic Field Dungeon from a completely different perspective.
As he walked, unlike everyone else, there wasn’t a continuous series of beasts lunging out at him, trying to take his life again and again. In fact, the forest fell to a serene quiet.
The further he walked, the more scenery began to change. The trees of gold shifted, and soon, there was a path formed by them. They lined the sides of the road, their branches arching to form a curved canopy above.
Sylas hardly reacted to this change.
Soon, he reached the end of this path and stopped.
Interesting.’
This was the first thought Sylas had, and it was the only one he had for a long while.
But then he recalled something… wasn’t this very similar to what the Twin Moon Healers described?
’An observatory… a dome of constellations and moving celestial bodies
It was like a replica of the exact location the Twin Moon Healers had stumbled into back in Eurpeia.
But why were there two of them?
