Lara is hesitating whether to allow the duel or not. She then looks at Vincent Carey.

Hearing that, I sigh inwardly. I know why she is confused. She had warned me before. But I had changed my mind after hearing his request at the last moment.

“Manager Lara, I’m ready,” I tell her.

“Then you guys should know the rules. Killing and serious injury are not allowed,” Lara says in a serious tone.

“Let’s start. I’m tired of waiting,” Jason Nicholson says.

Hearing that, I followed him to the glass duel platform. After entering, we should stand opposite each other. Then I see Manager Lara operating something.

The magic formations all over the glass dome structure disappear. Seeing that, my eyes gleam with a twinkle.

“The glass dome structure is covered with formations. It can even withstand the attacks of a Magic Lord. So don’t hold back,” Jason Nicholson says in a cold tone.

That too at the hands of the newcomer. Jason Nicholson tries to stand up despite the heart-wrenching pain.

Outside,

Lara is dumbstruck; her jaw almost drops to the ground. What has she witnessed? Jason Nicholson has been sent flying.

If Vincent Carey uses the magic spell, then there could be no suspense in the duel. She then notices that the recording is underway.

Inside the platform, I see Jason Nicholson trying to get up. My eyes flash with surprise. If it were any other wizard, they would be completely squashed.

Truly, the magic city is a place for the gathering of powerful wizards. If Jason Nicholson is this much stronger, then what about the other wizard seeds?

As time passes, the gravitational force increases inside the platform. I can feel the gravity mana depleting at a faster rate.

On the other hand, Jason Nicholson is using the power of the second spell to withstand the gravitational power. His mana is depleting at a faster rate as well.

He doesn’t want to lose to the newcomer. His internal organs are rupturing. The pain is heart-wrenching. Yet he is standing against the gravitational pressure.

This pain is nothing, especially since he has endured this kind of pain before during his training. As time passes, blood leaks from his body.

If he persists for long, it might cause serious injury to his organs. He might have to be bedridden. But Jason Nicholson is ready to face anything.

One of the benefits of the Indestructible Physique is that his injuries will heal over time, even if it’s a serious injury to the body.

On the other hand, my expression darkens. For the first time, I feel challenged. This guy is withstanding the gravitational force.
