I Fabricated the Techniques, but My Disciple Really Mastered Them?
Chapter 1117: Shocked Blood Demon, Black Chi King (2)A massive mountain peak, carried by more than a dozen True Spirits of the Master of Domain level, was heading this way.
On the enormous mountain peak, a terrifying True Spirit lay prone. Its faint yet suppressive aura felt as overwhelming as a giant mountain, a terrifying sensation only experienced when facing the Unchanging Divine Master.
“King Chi Ni!”
At this moment, the Blood Demon recognized the terrifying True Spirit on the mountain peak as King Chi Ni, one of the Three Great True Spirit Kings mentioned by the Unchanging Divine Master.
The same one Xu Yan offended!
“Divine Temple Elder Blood Demon, at your service, King Chi Ni!”
...The Blood Demon dared not be negligent and hastily paid his respects.
At this moment, only by revealing his identity as a Temple Elder could he prevent King Chi Ni from taking out his wrath on him because of Xu Yan of the Human Clan.
Otherwise, if King Chi Ni saw that he was human-shaped and killed him in a fit of anger, it would be extremely unjust!
Sure enough, upon revealing his identity as a Temple Elder, the aura locking onto him vanished instantly.“Have you seen this person?”
Before King Chi Ni, an image of Xu Yan appeared.
“Reporting to the senior, I have not!”
The Blood Demon responded respectfully.
“Heavy rewards for any trace of this person!”
King Chi Ni said in a deep voice.
“Yes, yes, may I ask, senior, what great crime did this person commit to alarm you?”
The Blood Demon cautiously inquired.
How Xu Yan offended King Chi Ni was unknown to him.
“This person killed my son, Chi Xiao Ni!”
King Chi Ni coldly revealed without concealing.
The Blood Demon swallowed hard, secretly shocked that Xu Yan had killed King Chi Ni’s son. No wonder a True Spirit King’s Order had been issued, and all True Spirits were searching for him.
“This person truly deserves to die! If I find any clues, I will surely report to King Chi Ni!”
The Blood Demon immediately displayed anger.
With a rumble, the dozen or so True Spirits carried the mountain peak away until it disappeared, and only then did the Blood Demon finally relax, feeling almost drenched in sweat.
“What I just said, hopefully it won’t reach Xu Yan’s ears, or I might be in big trouble.”
The Blood Demon pondered. Those True Spirits were without Spiritual Wisdom, so they should not be able to transmit what he had just said; thinking thus, he felt at ease.
“King Chi Ni, an ancient True Spirit of immense strength, has come, and the direction he heads to is precisely where the Great Wilderness lies. Perhaps he, too, intends to act on the matters of the Domain, and Xu Yan, a man of the Great Wilderness, acts justly. Yet, what actions the other two True Spirit Kings might take is unknown?”
The Three Great True Spirit Kings were ancient True Spirits, having lived for countless Primordial Ages. If the three True Spirit Kings united, even the Divine Master might not fare well?
The Blood Demon cast another secret technique, a wisp of aura emerged, conveying the message to the Unchanging Divine Master.
After transmitting the message, the Blood Demon contemplated his next move. Suddenly, his expression changed drastically. Within the Chaos, a jade-white flawless courtyard was faintly visible, shooting swiftly in.
The Yu Court!
He immediately moved, fleeing hastily, while saying, “Divine Temple Elder Blood Demon, dare not disturb the Yu Court!”
Quickly declaring himself; otherwise, if accidentally killed by the Yu Court, it would be truly unjust.
“What exactly has Xu Yan done to be pursued by the Yu Court as well!”
The Blood Demon was shocked, thinking that no matter how strong the mysterious Daoist Ancestor was, facing the Unchanging Divine Master, King Chi Ni, and the Three Masters of the Jade Court, he couldn’t possibly withstand them all?
Xu Yan has stirred up quite the trouble.
“My older brother is tasked with blocking the Yu Court’s mission. Now that the Three Masters of the Jade Court personally act, he shouldn’t continue.”
Thinking thus, the Blood Demon quickly contacted his older brother, advising him to retreat.
Simultaneously sending another message to the Unchanging Divine Master, informing them of the Yu Court’s movements.
Finding a large mountain, he entered for temporary shelter, awaiting the Unchanging Divine Master’s orders.
…
Somewhere in the Land of Imperishable, Ao Hong was flying rapidly. He already knew that King Chi Ni was looking for Xu Yan, feeling somewhat anxious and worried. If the other two True Spirit Kings sided with King Chi Ni, that would be disastrous!
“Could Xu Yan’s master, that Daoist Ancestor, possibly fight against the three True Spirit Kings and the Unchanging Divine Master alone? Seems there are also powerful figures from the Yu Court.”
Thinking thus, Ao Hong gasped, feeling as if Xu Yan had offended all the strongest in the Land of Imperishable.
Having caused such a huge mess, could his master bear it?
“These True Spirits aren’t searching for Xu Yan. It seems we have arrived in another True Spirit King’s domain.”
Ao Hong’s eyes brightened.
Then his heart sank. The three True Spirit Kings were so close to each other, and everyone was heading toward the Great Wilderness Domain. Could they all be targeting the Great Wilderness Domain?
“Roar!”
Ao Hong let out a dragon roar, echoing through the Land of Imperishable. He was searching for this True Spirit King, thinking that by allying himself with a True Spirit King, given his Spiritual Wisdom, he should be valued.
At a certain moment, a roar was heard from a distant place, thundering like a storm. The True Spirit that issued this roar was incredibly powerful, even stronger than Ao Hong felt himself to be.
Following the sound, he finally saw a massive mountain peak in motion, carried by over a dozen enormous True Spirits.
As Ao Hong approached, a mighty aura spread out with a buzz, terrorizing in its oppressive presence, yet feeling slightly familiar, causing Ao Hong’s body to tense.
Soon, Ao Hong saw a head rise from the enormous mountain peak. Seeing this pair of heads, Ao Hong was a bit shocked.
As the peak neared, seeing the full appearance of the True Spirit on the mountain, Ao Hong was again greatly astonished. The True Spirit atop the mountain had a dragon-like body, with a black back and red belly, a black fin on its back, a short and dense red mane around its neck, and a head not much different from his dragon head.
Ao Hong was stunned; one of the Three Great True Spirit Kings was a True Dragon?
Though different in some features, overall, it was still dragon-shaped and should be classified under the True Dragon Lineage. Yet Ao Hong himself was the ancestor of True Dragons.
At this moment, Ao Hong’s mind conjured up the names of the two other True Spirit Kings besides King Chi Ni, Black Chi King, and Giant Glutton King. The dragon-like True Spirit before him should be the Black Chi King!
Ao Hong looked at his body again, and then at the Black Chi King, doubting whether he could be a descendant of the Black Chi King?
They were both dragon-shaped, indeed.
And the Black Chi King was an ancient True Spirit, even if not a descendant, perhaps he carried its bloodline?
But then another issue arose. If he were indeed a descendant of the Black Chi King, Chi Xiao Ni dared to humiliate him so by slicing his flesh to eat it. Wouldn’t that equate to humiliating the Black Chi King?
“Your aura…”
At this moment, the Black Chi King spoke.
“It’s rumored that the Land of Imperishable once had a Domain. Though I have never witnessed such a Domain, your aura differs from the Chaos of the Imperishable in having some enlightened breath as if you are a Domain True Spirit.”
Ao Hong sighed inwardly, truly respecting the ancient True Spirit, seeing through him at a glance. Yet he wondered why if the Black Chi King knew of the Seven Great Domains through hearsay, it never desired to conquer them?
He was sure the Three Great True Spirit Kings were incredibly distant from the Land of Imperishable where the Domains were established, likely hearing of the Seven Great Domains through the True Spirits, which had already been overtaken by the Imperishable Temple.
Hence, the Black Chi King mentioned that the Land of Imperishable once had a Domain, which meant it was aware of the Temple’s conquest of the Domains.
“Not to hide it from senior Black Chi King, I am indeed a Domain True Spirit, also the Master of True Spirit Domain among the Seven Great Domains, Ao Hong!”
Ao Hong respectfully said.
“The Temple devours Domains, yet you survived. That’s rather surprising, though I suppose they intentionally let you live, to use in the Next Era.”
The Black Chi King pondered aloud.
Ao Hong’s heart trembled, feeling that the Black Chi King seemed to know many secrets, including the Temple’s objectives.
“Have you come to seek refuge with me to escape the Temple?”
The Black Chi King inquired.
“Not to hide it from senior, this is indeed my intention. Moreover, having offended King Chi Ni, I have no other choice…”
Ao Hong cautiously replied.
“So it’s about Chi Ni, tell me how you offended it?”
The Black Chi King nodded.
Ao Hong thought for a moment and then briefly recounted being captured and imprisoned by Gray Robe Man and Chi Xiao Ni, and how Xu Yan saved him, killing Chi Xiao Ni in the process.
“So that’s how it is!”
The Black Chi King nodded.
