I don’t have much time, so today’s chapter is a bit short.

It’s true that birthdays are also a time to express gratitude to one’s parents. However, from my mother and father’s perspective, being thrust into the spotlight at an event with this outrageous lineup of attendees would be something they’d want to avoid at all costs.

No, I get it. It’s a big party, in a huge hall, and I’m the guest of honor…… So naturally, my seat should be somewhere that’s easy for everyone to see……

Especially this time, with many of Lilia-san’s mansion staff and Kuro’s family members participating, the guest count is even larger than last time. It makes sense that my seat is in a noticeable spot.

But sitting in that extravagantly luxurious, throne-like seat…… I really feel reluctant, and I’d rather avoid it if I could…… Well, at this point, there’s nothing I can do, so I have no choice but to sit down…… Seriously, why didn’t I just say “Next time, a normal-sized party is fine” after my last birthday party……?
