The Giant Ape, shifting from offense to defense, contorted and transformed into a crane with a red crest and white feathers. With a wingspan of nearly forty feet, its wings beat at a speed beyond what the naked eye could capture. Instantly appearing behind Su Changkong, its claws grabbed his shoulders, whisking him away with a swift flight.

Where Su Changkong stood, those vines only managed to shred his afterimage, without touching a hair on him!

The Five Animal Frolics, with the Five Animal Form Transformation, were marvelously mystical. Even though Su Changkong was in poor physical condition, his actual combat strength was far greater than during his peak period!

“What kind of technique is this?”

Mu Xun, watching as the crane illusion carried Su Changkong away, easily neutralizing his killing move, was dumbfounded, unable to comprehend this unimaginable martial skill.

The crane illusion, after flinging Su Changkong away, landed him gently on the soft snowy ground, while it itself flew above Mu Xun’s head. Spiritual energy twisted, and its form changed again into a Giant Ape Illusion, muscles bulging with a palm’s height and pale golden fur; its massive foot came crashing down!

“This is bad! Divine Wood Palm, Ten Thousand Woods Resurgence!”

Mu Xun’s scalp tingled. Gritting his teeth, and with a roar, he combined True Qi with his bloodline’s power. He lashed out with a palm towards the Giant Ape Illusion’s descending foot. Along with the strike, a multitude of thick vines, sharp as spearheads, shot up from the ground, aiming at the Giant Ape Illusion from all sides.

“Puff puff puff!”

Vines pierced the Giant Ape Illusion’s body, but it was all in vain. This illusion of the Giant Ape was nothing more than the manifestation of Su Changkong’s intent and the drawing of nature’s spiritual energy through human essence. It wasn’t a body of flesh and blood, and such attacks were useless against it.

“Crack crack crack!”

At the same time, the Giant Ape’s massive foot stomped down. Mu Xun groaned, feeling an invincible great force crushing down on him, forcing his knees to buckle involuntarily, leaving him kneeling on the ground. His right palm, and the arm with it, shattered, blood and bone fragments splattering. The tremendous force pulverized his bones, with blood spouting from his mouth.

When the Giant Ape lifted its foot, Mu Xun lay collapsed within a vast crater, blood spraying continuously from his mouth, an arm shattered, a sight of grievous injuries.

In reality, Su Changkong held back, or that strike would have been enough to kill Mu Xun on the spot!

The Five Animal Frolics at level 10 allowed for the free transformation of tiger, deer, bear, ape, and bird, a world of difference from the level 9 Five Animal Frolics.

Be it Mu Jin or Mu Xun, formidable masters sweeping aside other martial artists within Dafeng State City, they were easily incapacitated and left powerless before Su Changkong’s Five Animal Frolics, a dire sight indeed.

Mu Jin and Mu Xun, despite their special bloodlines, were in fact only at the Qi-Blood Realm. Su Changkong, who had begun harnessing nature’s spiritual energy, was on a different level. Defeating them was like an adult picking on a child, no difficulty at all!
