Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse
Chapter 1050 - Where Is He Getting All This Mana?! II
Chapter 1050 - Where Is He Getting All This Mana?! II
The process of accumulation was proceeding well even with the reduced gathering of essence in the Animus Universe.
It had proceeded to the point the aura of the Great Usurper had begun to leak and affect these Universes and the beings within, and yet…
BZZZT!
The horrifying scene of a single being standing up against 45 Incarnations that had power exceeding anything in the stage of a Paragon was playing out!
Chronos was watching this scene with somber eyes personally in the Necrotic Universe, joining the Goliath and the Hegemony of Necromancy in watching this spectacular battle near the Universal Construct within this Universe.
He left behind the task of defending the Universal Construct in the Animus Universe back to Ambrose as this Hegemony could now stand against Valentina's clones with the aid of the aura of the Great Usurper.
But as he watched the glimmering clock that represented the tool one used to utilize the essence of the Cosmic Dao of Chronos, this being that was titled with the name of this Dao had somber eyes as he was reminded of a heavy pressure..
What he did was something that went against the natural law.
He knew there would be resistance and he would have to fight and claw his way out, but he never expected for such a ridiculous existence to exist as he believed this Apex Paragon appeared just to stand in his way!
As a being that had lived for too long, he knew the Cosmos weren't just an inanimate object with no consciousness.
Doing what he did was an action harmful to the Cosmos, and he had faced resistance from such actions many times in the past.
But he had accounted for many things this time! Using the experience from all his past times, he had moved with care as he was even able to get one of the oldest beings of the Cosmos on his side!
Yet...how could the Cosmos be as ridiculous as to blatantly drop a being out of thin air to stand against him?! There should have been immense restrictions and limitations as such blatant interventions should not be possible.
Chronos was not just thinking these thoughts without merit. He was a being that had lived multiple lifetimes. In the many lives he led before he reincarnated, he had faced enemies that never had to face the hardship he faced to achieve power- enemies that got their position through sheer luck as if it was appointed for them to obtain it!
An example was the existence of the Oathkeeper.
What did this being do to deserve having a Cosmic Treasure? How did he even obtain it? Among the myriad of quintillions upon quintillions of existences, why did he end up with a Treasure capable of affecting the Cosmos?
Now, apart from a being like Oathkeeper, there was another existence that quite literally dropped out of nowhere.
Literally appeared from thin air as if he wasn't even from the Primordial Cosmos until he just needed to be when Chronos was undertaking his plans!
An Apex Paragon that had battle power to take down Incarnations of Chaos that were infinitely nearing the power of a Hegemony...and this being could still display this power to its fullest even while under the oppressive aura of an Antiquity!
How?
"How?!"
RUMBLE
Chronos couldn't help but utter out as The Goliath and the Hegemony of Necromancy beside him remained silent.
Their eyes tore across the void of space as they laid their eyes on the stellar scene of a being that merely tapped the space before him, bringing to a halt 45 Incarnation of Chaos!
The enormous spinning clock above everything then spun as the area and Origins around these beings began to undergo an inversion in time.
It was the fantastical [Temporal Inversion] that unless the enemy could dispel with sheer strength and power or the usage of immense quality and quantity of Chronos...they could not escape it.
The Incarnations of Chaos had the essence of Extinction and Chronos...and yet they could not break out of the Temporal Inversion! This was due to the scene that all of them were watching with rapt attention...the scene of endless essence of Chronos gushing from the Clock that the Apex Paragon had summoned above everything!
The Apex Paragon was beating everything with pure quantity, exchanging his mana for the essence of the Cosmic Dao of Chronos in insane amounts as it caused them all to question the source of his mana reserves.
The Hegemony of Necromancy could not help but utter and his breath as he watched.
"Is he accessing the mana reserves of a fucking genuine Universe or something…?!"
…!
He unconsciously uttered this as he watched the repetition of Seeds of Chaos being separated from the bodies of the Paragons, the number this time being double that of before as the Apex Paragon still did it as if it took the same effort.
As if it didn't matter if he faced the crazily powerful Incarnations of Chaos when they were 20 or 45!
RUMBLE!
The chaotic void flashed with a glorious light as with a wave of his hands, the Apex Paragon called the 45 Seeds of Chaos now standing beside 45 weakened Paragons.
The field of battle turned silent.
The 35 Paragon Incarnations of Chaos that had gone to face the Seven Deadly Sins and the Undead Paragons within Noah's Legions turned towards this scene with stupor as they didn't know what to do!
45 of them had been wiped out with a mere tap of this beings fingers, what would 35 of them do when at this moment, some of them were even struggling with the Seven Deadly Sins they could barely hold up against?!
WAA!
An air of majesty spread out as the Demonic Lich Emperor caused the 45 Seeds of Chaos to disappear with a wave of his hands, his gaze placid as if he didn't just incapacitate half of the enemy Champions in seconds.
His calm eyes that seemed capable of shaking the void itself landed on the weakened Paragons that just had something shocking separated from their Origins, his voice ringing out as it shook their very souls!
"Fealty...or Death."
RUMBLE!
