POV Kidnapees:

Everyone looked towards the glowing eyes in the darkness after they heard that familiar voice.

"Alesia, is it you? Were you kidnapped too?" the sobbing arcanist looked at the eyes with the hope that she might survive too.

'She was kidnapped long ago, and she is still alive!'

The dwarf tried to peer through the veils of darkness to no vain, only seeing the glowing eyes, "Yes, that blue eye looks like hers, and that voice, it must be really her!"

The metallurgist scratching against the wall, ignored it as he continued doing whatever it was. His mind not even caring about the world around him.

The quiet steps once again resounded through the cave, the pair of heterochromatic glowing eyes getting closer and closer towards them. Finally, an outline of some shiny spiky-looking things about the eyes appeared in the darkness.

The familiar childish voice spoke again, but something was off, "Yes, it is me... From now on, you will be working together with me on an extraordinary project."

"That is good! Alesia, please get me some booze. I am getting sober! Ple..."

Before the dwarf could even finish his sentence, something faintly flickered in the darkness, and then the whole tunnel lit up in bright light, finally revealing their former colleague's figure that was hiding in the dark.

The dwarven blacksmith lost his words, and the arcanist started to sob again. Even the tied and gagged alchemist on the ground stopped struggling in shock.

No one could stop looking at her long curled horns on her head, her bloodstained green dress and her glowing heterochromatic eyes. The uncomfortable silence descended upon the cave, no one wanting to speak from the shock of finding out that someone they knew had turned into a monster.

Finally, a shriek shattered the silence. "Gyyyyah!"

With tears flowing down her face, the young woman started crying even louder, slowly trying to crawl away from the figure of a monstrous elf, "Y-you have turned into a monster!"

For the first time, the metallurgist that was previously scratching against the wall looked at her, his face hidden by his long messy hair and tinted dark glasses, "This... I have heard about this..."

The monstrous elf looked at them with a look as if she was let down, an uncomfortable aura spreading out of her and drowning everyone in a hot feeling, making them feel as if they had put their head into the oven.

She finally spoke, interrupting the uncomfortable feeling. Her voice was different. It no longer sounded like her old self. It was filled with arrogance and undescribable energy that resonated with their bodies, "No, you are wrong... I am not a monster. My master has made me much superior and better than any punny mortal race."

POV Vesuvius:

The volcanic dragon floated in the empty black space. The bright ethereal light drowned its black body, every cell and nook changing to something new. Potent energy radiated out, the massive blob of light looking like a small nuclear explosion trapped inside an invisible, unbreakable bank.

The light and energy kept pulsing, quickly decreasing in intensity as the dragon absorbed them.

Vesuvius impatiently waited for the changes to end, his mind itching to find out what had changed.

Finally, a loud ding resounded in his head.

Ding!

Evolution was forcibly changed into an [The Noble Nuclear Super Volcano Runedragon]:

Description: A weird, until now, never seen evolution of a super volcano dragon. They are like volcanoes exploding in uranium-rich lands, bringing fiery and radioactive calamity upon their foes. Their bodies are monstrously large and covered in super durable armour made of cooled-down corium magma.

The molten corium and magma leak out of the cracks in their armour.

They can unleash powerful volcanic explosions out of their mouth that carries radioactive particles that can quickly annihilate everything in their path. They can periodically unleash a breath of pure corium magma that can quickly melt through meters of stone as if it was nothing and produces heat by itself, easily preserving its immense temperature for months.

Their bodies contain large amounts of radioactive elements that give radioactive properties to every one of their breath attacks while generating large amounts of energy and mana.

The thick clouds of gas around them are filled with deadly radioactive particles.

Most of the radioactivity is firmly contained within their bodies, but when injured, it can leak out and cause dangerous nuclear contamination.

Just looking at a nuclear super volcano dragon is enough to kill humans. They are like super volcano dragons merged with atomic power plants.

Special affinities: Volcano

Primary affinities: Fire, Water, Lightning, Earth, Radioactivity, Lava (Special elemental fusion unlocked: Corium Lava)

Secondary affinities: Steam, Electricity, Acid, Toxin, Wind

New ability:

Nuclear Mana Reactor Body (LV 1):

Description: A body filled with radioactive materials. It evolved to use them, harnessing powerful energy radiating out of them to generate a large amount of mana and energy.

+75% increased mana regeneration; Gives radioactive properties to all melee attacks and ranged attacks originating from the body

Racial ability changed:

Erupting Pressure-Forged Volcanic Armour (LV 9)--> Erupting Pressure-Forged Corium Armour (LV 9):

(New!): It's original material: Reinforced Volcanic Stone changed into Reinforced Corium. Making the armour even more resistant and robust while considerably increasing its weight.

(New!): Radiates strong radiation

Charged Volcanic Gasses Glands (LV 5)--> Radioactive Charged Volcanic Gasses Glands (LV 5):

(New!): The produced gases, ash and smoke contain radioactive particles

Vesuvius quickly read through the description. His mind split between being excited about the power he gained and worrying about how deadly his new form would be to everything around him.

He could easily imagine natives not even understanding how they died, but at the same time, he knew that it would become impossible for him to live anywhere near civilisation.

'Being deadly and destructive is good, but this feels like it goes beyond that. This will turn me into a walking and exposed nuclear reactor core.'

He wanted to curse, knowing that it would likely destroy a large portion of his plans, 'I can only hope that beings transformed by my blood can at least gain enough resistance to survive around me. Well, it worked for electricity and heat.'

Then he realised something and slowly started to calm down as he realised that the situation may not be as bad as he initially thought, 'Well, I now have an affinity towards radioactivity, which means that I should have some degree of control over it. Maybe I can safely contain it.'
