LEGENDARY BROKEN PLAYER - VRMMORPG

Chapter 803 - 803 - Sounds Like Your Problem

Broken continued the journey, occasionally dealing with waves of monsters that appeared along the way.

As usual, he summoned his Gaia Beasts and quickly eliminated the creatures before they could attract even more.

Meanwhile, the man trailing them?

He stayed completely out of the fight, hiding in a corner, waiting until everything was over before reappearing like nothing happened.

He didn’t even try to help.

Which was strange.

For someone with a decent level, he should at least be capable of fighting.

SexyGrill finally called him out.

“Hey, go fight the monsters too, if you want.” She glanced at him. “You’re not completely useless, right?”

The man grinned sheepishly.

“Ah, but if I attack, won’t that mess up the experience point distribution?” Read new chapters at My Virtual Library Empire

SexyGrill rolled her eyes.

“If you actually help and speed things up, that’s better than doing nothing.” She crossed her arms. “Unless, of course… you actually can’t fight?”

The man waved his hands.

“No, no! I can fight!” He laughed awkwardly. “I’ll help next time, hehe.”

Broken didn’t react.

At this point, he was already used to the guy’s excuses.

But one thing was certain—even after telling him to be quiet, the man just couldn’t stay silent. Every chance he got, he kept talking. And strangely enough, most of what he said was just… praise.

Constantly complimenting Broken, bringing up his achievements, as if he was trying to gain favor.

Unfortunately for him—

Broken wasn’t the type to be swayed by flattery. So whether the guy was genuine or just sucking up…

It didn’t matter.

As the journey continued, SexyGrill finally started engaging in conversation with Vallrick, making it so that he was no longer just talking to himself. At least now, the conversation wasn’t entirely about flattering Broken.

“Hey, Vallrick,” SexyGrill said casually. “What kind of monster are you hunting, anyway? Tell us.”

Vallrick grinned sheepishly.

“Ah, well… hehe… are you two interested in helping me hunt it?”

SexyGrill raised an eyebrow, pretending to be shocked.

“Seriously? Are you joking?” She let out a small laugh. “There are only two of us. Meanwhile, you brought forty people. That would be suicide.”

Vallrick quickly shook his head.

“But…” He leaned in slightly. “I’m sure the two of you are stronger than all forty of them combined.”

His voice grew more enthusiastic.

“I mean, I saw you two fight in the Dissidia War! The way you weaved through the battlefield, dodging, striking—every movement was so precise, so perfect, it was like—”

Broken tuned him out completely. His voice blurred into background noise.

SexyGrill, however, cut him off. “Just tell me—what monster is it?”

Vallrick hesitated. “It’s a high-grade monster.”

“What grade?”

A pause.

Then, he briefly glanced at Broken before answering.

“It’s a Legendary-grade monster.”

Those words snapped Broken’s attention back. His gaze sharpened immediately.

A Legendary-grade monster? That was a whole new level.

And in a place like this?

That meant the rewards would be massive.

For the first time since meeting Vallrick…

Broken was actually interested.

“Yes… it’s a Legendary-grade monster.” Vallrick nodded eagerly. “If you help me kill it, I’ll give you a reward… and you can take all the loot for yourselves.”

His tone turned even more desperate, yet hopeful.

“I just need to deal a single hit. That’s all.”

SexyGrill raised an eyebrow, now genuinely intrigued. She turned to him. “And where exactly is this monster?”

Vallrick hurried forward, pulling up his map system and marking a location.

Broken slowed his steps, finally coming to a stop as Vallrick circled an area on the map with his finger.

“The monster should be somewhere around here.”

Broken studied the location.

It was conveniently along the path they were already taking—the same general area where Pawpaw had tracked the dragonkin.

A Legendary-grade monster…

It would definitely be a difficult fight. But even if he couldn’t defeat it now, Broken was still curious. At the very least, he wanted to find it, test its strength, and gather information.

And if it proved too powerful…

He could always return later with a stronger team.

Vallrick watched Broken carefully, noticing how he seemed deep in thought.

Meanwhile, Broken discreetly gave an order to Pawpaw, instructing the demon cat to scout the area Vallrick had marked.

Almost instantly, Pawpaw retreated from where he had been observing the dragonkin and shifted his focus to the new target.

SexyGrill, still intrigued, tilted her head and smirked.

“That must be a high-rating quest, huh?” She glanced at Vallrick. “You got a mission to kill a Legendary-grade monster despite having such a tiny little level.”

Vallrick laughed awkwardly.

“Ah, hehe… yes, I guess I’m lucky to have gotten this quest.”

SexyGrill snorted.

“That’s not luck, that’s a curse.” She crossed her arms. “You’d probably die just fighting normal monsters in this forest.”

Vallrick chuckled nervously. “Hehe… yeah, I suppose that’s true.”

As they continued their journey, Broken switched to party chat, speaking privately with SexyGrill to keep Vallrick out of the conversation.

“Do you believe what he’s saying, Broken?”

“I don’t know. What do you think?”

“Hard to tell.” SexyGrill hesitated. “But honestly, I don’t see why he’d lie—not after going through all the effort just to get here.”

“Still, we should stay cautious.”

“Agreed.”

She glanced slightly at Vallrick, who was still walking cheerfully ahead, unaware.

“His story doesn’t completely make sense, so we should keep an eye on him.”

Broken nodded slightly and responded.

“I already sent Pawpaw to scout for any potential high-level monster locations.”

“Good call.”

SexyGrill exhaled, then added,

“That said… if what he’s saying is true, then a Legendary-grade monster being hidden in a place as remote as this actually makes a lot of sense. And if we find it, that’s a huge opportunity.”

“Yeah—if we can beat it.”

They both knew that was the real challenge.

Then, after a few more hours of walking, with the night slowly fading into early morning—

Pawpaw finally sent a signal.

Broken immediately activated his Shared Sense skill.

Through Pawpaw’s eyes, he saw—

An elevated part of the forest, where the trees were sparser than before. But that wasn’t what caught his attention. Because right there in the middle of the clearing…

Was a massive cave entrance.

Big.

Unnaturally big.

Like something far larger than a normal monster could easily fit inside.

A cave that massive… There had to be something interesting inside.

But if Broken decided to check it out, it meant delaying his journey toward the dragonkin.

Was it worth it? They had no idea what could be waiting in there.

After a moment of thought, he made his decision. They’d check it out. After all, the cave wasn’t far—and this was too big of a find to ignore.

By the time they arrived, the morning sunlight was barely starting to break through the dense forest canopy, casting faint golden rays over the misty ground.

And there it was.

The massive cave entrance.

The mysterious guy, Vallrick, was the first to rush ahead, staring in awe.

Then, he turned around with that same awkward grin.

“Are you guys planning to go inside? You know, to check what kind of monster is in there? Hehe.”

SexyGrill smirked and casually crossed her arms.

“Why don’t you go in first?”

Her tone was playfully mocking.

“You’re the one who needs it, right?”
