Chapter 6212: Ancient Era’s War Clan

“Elder, you can’t withstand it?” Chu Feng got straight to the point and asked. 

The hole was the formation passageway opened by the forbidden treasure. Once they jumped in, they would fall so quickly that it would no longer be their choice to advance or retreat. 

The energy inside the hole was much stronger. If Jie Shanxian couldn’t even withstand the energy pouring out, she would die if she entered the hole.

“Chu Feng, put me inside the formation and bring me with you.”

Jie Shanxian passed the formation bead she had just received back to Chu Feng. She intended to enter the formation space.

“Elder, are you sure you want to do this?” 

Chu Feng thought that it was a risky move. 

Jie Shanxian was planning to circumvent the energy through Chu Feng, but Chu Feng wasn’t sure if this method would work. Under normal circumstances, it shouldn’t work.

“I have to go in. Bring me in,” Jie Shanxian insisted. 

She opened the formation space and entered it on her own accord. But even after doing so, her face remained as distorted as before. The energy could still seep into the formation space. 

Even so, she still urged, “Bring me in.”

“I shall give it a try then.”

Chu Feng grasped the formation bead and absorbed it into his palm. 

But Jie Shanxian’s pain didn’t lessen. Not even this could stop the energy from seeping in.

“Elder, it isn’t working,” Chu Feng said.

But Jie Shanxian urged him, “Stop waiting and go in.”

Letting out a sigh, Chu Feng leaped into the hole. 

As he had expected, the raging spirit power inside the hole caused him to swiftly plummet. There was no way to turn back at this juncture. 

At the same time, the concentration of the energy suddenly spiked severalfold. Even Chu Feng was alarmed. At this rate, he would soon reach his limit.

Fortunately, the energy quickly disappeared, but Chu Feng continued to plummet. He still hadn’t reached the bottom of the passageway. 

He realized he had passed by the origin of the energy; the origin of the energy wasn’t at the end of the passageway. 

He raised his head out of curiosity, but couldn’t see anything. He couldn’t stop falling either and could only go with the tides.

Finally, he reached the end of the passageway and fell into a boundless palace. He raised his head once more, but he couldn’t see the formation passageway where he entered from. There was no hole or formation in the ceiling as if he had appeared out of nowhere.

This sparked Chu Feng’s worry. He knew Xianhai Shaoyu and Little Fishy would follow him, so he was worried that they would be transported elsewhere.

A spirit formation gate suddenly appeared above Chu Feng, and Little Fishy and Xianhai Shaoyu fell into the palace as well. The gate closed right after the two of them appeared.

Xianhai Shaoyu waved his hand. His complexion was terrible, and his voice was feeble. 

It wasn’t surprising since the energy in the formation passageway had been so powerful that even Chu Feng felt strained. Fortunately, Xianhai Shaoyu’s body was still faring fine; he would swiftly recover after a bit of rest. 

Chu Feng turned his attention to Jie Shanxian.

Jie Shanxian was not faring well too, but she had survived the worst. It could be because they were plummeting so fast that it deceived the energy, but this meant that he could bring others in. 

“Elder, did you know about this?” Chu Feng asked.

“I didn’t. I just felt indignant and wanted to push ahead,” Jie Shanxian replied.

“Elder, are we able to return?” Chu Feng asked. 

He thought of bringing Little Fishy’s parents, grandfather, and Elder Liu in. 

This palace was old, but it didn’t carry the Ancient Era’s aura, which meant that it was constructed in the present era. The palace was so vast that he couldn’t see its ends except for the ceiling. It was eerily quiet; all he could see were massive pillars that spanned over fifty meters in diameter.

His mind would be more at ease if they had Little Fishy’s parents here as well.

“We can’t head back the same way. Even if we can, they will have to first withstand the energy before entering the passageway. Are you sure they can withstand it?” Jie Shanxian asked.

Chu Feng didn’t harp on this matter. 

Since Jie Shanxian said it was impossible to return the same way, whether it was the truth or not, there was no point fussing over it anymore. 

If she was speaking the truth, it would mean they were trapped and had to find another way out. If she was lying, it would mean she didn’t want Little Fishy’s parents here, and it was unlikely Chu Feng could pressure her into getting his way.

Jie Shanxian was likely to be very strong. 

“Elder, how strong are you?” Chu Feng asked.

Jie Shanxian would be their biggest backing in the absence of Little Fishy’s parents.

“Being trapped in the forbidden treasure for so long has caused my spirit power to deteriorate; I’m currently at rank one Heavenly Dragon. Either way, I’m just glad to be alive,” Jie Shanxian replied. 

“Elder, how strong were you before?” Chu Feng asked.

Jie Shanxian didn’t reply.

“No need. I’m fine with staying here,” Jie Shanxian replied. 

Chu Feng didn’t insist on it, knowing Jie Shanxian could still perceive their surroundings even from within his body. So, he began assessing their surroundings. 

“This pillar is extremely sturdy. It’s made out of no ordinary material.”

Chu Feng soon realized that the pillars in the palace were exceptionally sturdy, capable of bearing an extraordinary amount of weight. 

“It looks like the treasure is above us.” 

Chu Feng started observing the palace’s ceiling. 

The energy origin was above them, and these pillars appeared to be bearing the weight of something. Even the ceiling was made out of a special material that prevented one from peering through it. It felt like the palace was designed to prevent one from seeing what was above. 

Suddenly, Chu Feng and the others turned their gaze in the same direction.

They sensed a large group of people swiftly approaching them. Although they were extremely far away, it didn’t take long before their silhouettes came into sight. 

Chu Feng, Little Fishy, and Xianhai Shaoyu were taken aback.

There were thousands of people, and every single one of them had reached True God level. However, the reason the three of them were shocked was because of their waist token.
