Maximum Comprehension: Taking Care of Swords In A Sword Pavilion

Chapter 2304: Supreme Realm, Nine Mysteries Heavenly Taoist Sect, Lu Yue

“Forget everything?”

Han Muye turned his head, his gaze falling into the deep shadows of the Divine Abyss.

Above the Divine Abyss was that dazzling world.

In this world, he, Han Muye, had practiced the sword dao, had refined immortal techniques.

He, Han Muye, once bore the weight of this world, supporting endless lives.

He, Han Muye, once had passionate brothers in this world, intimate lovers, disciples, legacies…

“To reach the true other shore, one must forget all that lies here…” Han Muye shook his head, his expression indifferent, “I don’t want to forget.”

At his words, the Primordial Creator opposite him laughed heartily towards the heavens.

“This is the true spirit of life!”

“Every step we’ve walked, every person we’ve loved, why should we forget, how can we forget?”

Bright light shone in the eyes of the Primordial Creator, his powerful presence surging upwards.

It was as if a crack had been torn in the Divine Abyss; the world itself seemed on the verge of shattering.

Such immense power caused shock and trembling among the scattered creators and beings of the God Realm.

“Metamorphosis, concealment, Dao merge…” Han Muye watched the figure of the Primordial Creator and whispered softly.

If he wasn’t mistaken, the strength exhibited by the Primordial Creator was of the Unity Realm Stage, a high level even within the Land of Truth.

Merging body with Dao, gathering the power of the Great Dao.

This Great Dao was not the Dao of the illusory realm, but the Dao of the Land of Truth.

“Lu Yue, won’t you come back, when else will you wait—”

The Primordial Creator looked towards Han Muye and bellowed, a beam of Heaven Ascension golden light enveloping Han Muye’s body.

Han Muye’s whole body shook, his eyes flashing with profound divine light.

“Brother Lu Yue, do you still remember me, Zhang Yuan?” The Primordial Creator laughed, his eyes fixed on Han Muye, his face exhibiting a wistful expression.

Endless memories roiled up in Han Muye’s mind.

“Supreme Realm, Nine Mysteries Heavenly Taoist Sect, Lu Yue…”

“So, I also come from the Land of Truth.”

“No, it’s not right—I am not—”

Han Muye looked up, the Primordial Creator opposite him nodding, his face full of regret: “That’s correct, you are but also are not.”

“You have not broken through the Mystery; from Lu Yue you transformed into Han Muye, Lu Yue is you, Han Muye is also you.”

“How could it be you? I came to this void to find you, but I, too, am lost, plummeting eternally…”

Han Muye had already remembered everything.

The cultivation in the Land of Truth requires stepping through the Triple Concealment, ninth floor realm during metamorphosis.

The Vitality and Blood Concealment, choosing one’s strength attribute.

The Inheritance Mystery, choosing one’s cultivation inheritances.

The Soul Concealement, searching for one’s own shadow amidst the endless years.

The Land of Illusion is but a reflection of the Land of Truth, all beings within are reflections of countless beings from the Land of Truth through eons.

The cultivation methods of the Land of Illusion were once passed down in the Land of Truth but have ultimately declined.

All beings of the Land of Illusion once lived in the Land of Truth, though it is unknown how many eons ago this was.

It could be said that the Land of Illusion is the river of time of the Land of Truth, yet distinct.

Because the beings of the Land of Illusion have developed their own trajectories of existence, they do not completely follow the life paths of the Land of Truth to their ends.

He, Han Muye, or should I say Lu Yue, ended up in the Land of Illusion to seek breakthrough because his cultivation was stuck at the third level of concealment, the Soul Concealment.

Moreover, it was his true body that entered, completely lost in the soul, in pursuit of breakthrough.

Manifesting the body with dimensional data, clear in mind and soul, no longer provided him with an opportunity for breakthrough.

As for the Primordial Creator before him, he was sent by the sect to find him.

“Brother Zhang Yuan, since you’ve already seen through everything, why haven’t you returned?”

Han Muye looked at the Primordial Creator before him and asked.

The Primordial Creator, or should I say Zhang Yuan of the Nine Mysteries Heavenly Taoist Sect’s Elites, had already achieved the Unity Path Cultivation Level, and his return to the supreme Cultivation Levels within the sect was also among the highest. Why then did he remain here?

Hearing his words, the Primordial Creator sighed deeply, his hand resting on the Stone Coffin behind him.

The coffin turned illusory, and a figure in red emerged from within.

“I’ve said it before, I don’t want to forget, don’t want all to turn into an illusion.”

Han Muye fell silent.

He also could not forget everything within this void.

Lu Yue had already become Han Muye.

The Triple Concealment was a process of making choices, and he had chosen to be Han Muye.

“A million years ago, no one from the Nine Mysteries Heavenly Taoist Sect came to this Land of Imbalance.”

“Sister Mu Wan, as the sect’s only Dao Child, you should take a look back.”

The gaze of the Primordial Creator shone with complexity as he shook his head, “Having broken the covenant with the Land of Truth, I can no longer return.”

Unable to go back meant having to stay here forever.

Both he and Han Muye weren’t bodies formed by consolidating dimensional data with the power of truth; staying here meant they would die.

Han Muye and the Primordial Creator stood facing each other.

Neither of them wished to forget this world, nor forget everything about the boundless void world.

“I can help you.”

After a long while, the Primordial Creator spoke again.

“I’ll help you return to the Land of Truth and preserve your memories.”

“But you have to do something for me.”

The Primordial Creator’s eyes sparkled intensely as his palm rested on the Stone Coffin behind him.

“Resurrect me and her in the Land of Truth.”

“I promised her to take her to the Land of Truth, to let her truly experience the heaven and earth and all its creatures.”

Resurrection.

To bring beings from the Land of Illusion to the Land of Truth.

These two things were impossible.

For thousands of years, no one had been able to do it.

Han Muye’s gaze passed over the Stone Coffin and looked into the distance.

He, too, wanted to take Sister Mu Wan and Huang Six to see the Land of Truth.

“The founder of the Nine Mysteries Heavenly Taoist Sect once said that beyond the Unity Realm, there should be even higher realms that could merge the illusory with the real.”

“Even capable of summoning beings from the illusory realm directly into the Land of Truth.”

“But the ancestor never set foot in that realm.”

The Primordial Creator looked at Han Muye, “Sister Mu Wan, as a Dao Child, you’re someone who even the ancestor said might surpass him.”

“Are you content to let yourself and those familiar beings of the Land of Illusion never know what truth is?”

The words of the Primordial Creator made Han Muye’s eyes shine with divine light.

After a long silence, Han Muye nodded.

“Alright.”

The Primordial Creator let out a long laugh, and endless heavenly light burst from his body as nine Ancestral Heavenly Dragons surged upwards, striking at the illusory Eternal Gate.

The Eternal Gate trembled, layers of golden light emerged, and then the gate slowly opened.

“Somebody has opened the Eternal Gate!”

Voices rose as the creators and God Realms that had been lurking nearby all burst out in excitement, rushing towards the gateway.

“Only Primordial Beings who can open the Eternal Gate are our targets for hunting!”

In the void, figures dashed forward, rushing towards the Primordial Creator.

The Primordial Creator didn’t care about the others, his eyes fixed intently on Han Muye.

“Sister Mu Wan, remember your promise!”

As the voice fell, nine Ancestral Heavenly Dragons charged toward the Eternal Gate.

Unlike the others who charged into the gateway, the Primordial Creator controlled the nine dragon beasts and struck directly at the gate.

“Boom—”

The Gateway shattered and a billion strands of heavenly light appeared.

Cracks began to manifest.

The nine Ancestral Heavenly Dragon beasts, pulling the Stone Coffin, rushed into the cracks.

Han Muye stepped forward and followed them in.

The others tried to follow, but as soon as they touched the void, they turned into a mass of illusory air.

In front of Han Muye, an endless and vast heaven and earth unfolded, where nine dragon beasts pulling the Stone Coffin surged into the distance, aimlessly wandering off.

His form trembled and slowly dispersed on the spot.

“Junior Uncle, our Nine Mysteries Dao’s resources have all been squandered, what’s left to pay off our debts?”

“Isn’t there an ancient sarcophagus left over from ancient times? Anyways, we don’t know which ancestor left it; smashing the sarcophagus, there might be some treasures inside.”

“The ancestors of our Nine Mysteries Dao won’t blame us juniors, who’s to say in these difficult times—eh!”

Within the sarcophagus, Han Muye opened his eyes, coming face to face with the thin forty-year-old Daoist who had lifted the lid of the Stone Coffin.
