Chapter 995 Return to the Night Star continent

The next morning, a group of four young men and women left the headquarters of the Zhong clan, heading towards the northeast of the central continent.

Shortly after leaving the city, Shun Long opened another space rift, before the four of them disappeared from the vicinity of Zhong city.

After entering three more consecutive space rifts and making sure that there were no cultivators in the vicinity, Shun Long finally stopped and summoned Little Black from the 'Stone of Time'.

The journey to the 'Night star continent' from the northernmost part of the continent wasn't short, and it would certainly take Shun Long and the rest at least a couple of years until they returned.

However, with Little Black's flying speed, Shun Long estimated that the whole journey would take less than a month.

A few moments later, the figure of a massive black dragon appeared in the skies of the central continent once more, flying across the continental sea at devastating speed as it headed towards the east.

At this point, Shun Long wasn't overly worried of people noticing Little Black's existence.

After all, the continental sea was nothing like the central continent. It was a vast expanse of water filled with nothing but magic beasts.

Occasionally, a few other cultivators riding their own magic beasts could be seen crossing the ocean, but most of them were either Nascent Soul stage cultivators or even Spirit realm ones. It was very rare for Dao Kings to ever spend time traveling to and fro the nearby continents if there wasn't a good enough reason, let alone Dao Emperors.

Since there wasn't much else to do during the journey, Shun Long decided to sort out the treasures he had obtained inside the 'City of Immortals'.

So, Shun Long spent most of this time talking with Liu Mei and the rest to pass the time. He also heard about the rewards everyone else obtained from the seventh trial while he was fighting with Xuan Bo.

Apparently, it was just those in the top 3 who obtained any immortal-grade spirit stones from the old man. As for the rest, they got top-grade spirit stones depending on their final rank. For example, Liu Mei who was ranked 4th by the time the seventh trial ended got fifty thousand top-grade spirit stones as her reward, while Jiang Chen who was ranked 10th only got five thousand.

Finally, as the fourth week came to an end, the outline of a large island appeared in the distance, eventually attracting Shun Long's attention. Although it only seemed like an island from afar, the closer they got to it, the more familiar this island seemed to become.

They had finally returned to the 'Night Star continent'!
