The next morning, Yuan and his wives got ready to leave the city and the empire. Their destination lay far from the Lionheart Empire—at the distant edge of the Holy Light Empire, where the Blank Clan resided.
The Blank Clan was a powerful and ancient clan with more than ten thousand members. Every one of them was an extremely powerful mage, and some were formidable magic warriors. They held significant influence within the Holy Light Empire, operating from the shadows, and maintained close yet careful ties with the Holy Church. Given the Church’s immense power and its influence across and beyond the empire, the Blank Clan chose to remain neutral—preferring peace and seclusion atop their mountain, where neither the Holy Church nor the Holy Light Empire dared interfere.
Once everyone was ready and had filled their bellies, they made their way toward the city’s main gate—a journey that would take almost half an hour.
They planned to meet Aisha outside the city gate, and Princess Livia would travel in her carriage since Yuan and his wives weren’t planning to carry her with their flying swords.
Sometime later, they arrived outside the gate and immediately noticed a luxurious carriage parked beside the city wall. Aisha stood next to it, her expression calm.
The moment she spotted Yuan and his wives, a warm and excited smile spread across her face. She quickly approached them.
“Where have you been? I’ve been waiting here for quite a while! You shouldn’t have made me wait like that!” she complained to Anna Grace with a small pout before pulling her into a warm hug.
“Sorry for keeping you waiting. We were taking a bath before leaving the mansion,” Anna Grace whispered gently in her ear as she returned the hug, smiling softly at her younger sister.
“The carriage is ready. Are you sure you’re not going to ride with us?” Aisha asked with hopeful eyes, gazing at Yuan and Anna Grace, her expression filled with anticipation as if trying to convince them with a pair of pleading puppy eyes.
“No. However, Princess Livia will be riding with you. She’ll be great company if you ever feel bored,” Anna Grace replied with a soft smile, glancing at Princess Livia.
Just then, Yuan stepped forward and said, “How about you use our carriage instead of this one? Ours is much more comfortable to ride in. We might even join you inside if we ever get tired of flying or want a tea break.”
Aisha blinked in surprise, looking at Yuan with wide eyes. The mention of a ‘comfortable’ carriage piqued her interest—after all, most carriages weren’t particularly pleasant to ride in.
“Your carriage? Do you really have one that could fit all of you?” Aisha asked, raising her eyebrows, clearly intrigued.
“Yes, we do. And I still have it with me,” Yuan replied with a smile. With just a wave of his hand, a massive carriage suddenly appeared before Aisha, stunning her with its sheer size.
“What in the world is this thing?! It’s so huge!” Aisha exclaimed, staring at the carriage with wide-open eyes and a look of disbelief.
She slowly approached it, her gaze sweeping over its exterior. This was unlike anything she had ever seen—or even heard of. The carriage was enormous, easily able to accommodate more than twenty people comfortably. Its frame was built from a strange, incredibly durable material she couldn’t identify, and it looked more like a mobile fortress than a simple carriage.
Aisha was visibly impressed and quickly grew excited to ride in this remarkable carriage instead of her own. She also noticed the strange devices attached to the axle.
‘What are those unusual devices? And what’s their purpose?’ she wondered, thinking they might be the secret behind the carriage’s unusual comfort.
“Alright, I’ll use your carriage—but I need to store mine in my magic pouch first,” Aisha said with an excited grin before quickly going to do just that.
Once her carriage was safely stored away, she instructed Jones to attach Yuan’s carriage to the horses. He immediately followed her instructions without question.
With the preparations complete, Aisha and Princess Livia stepped into the large carriage, while Yuan and his wives rose into the air, each standing on top of their flying swords.
Lily carried Little Zoe on her sword, while Anna Grace held Miss Zara. As for Vanessa, she rode atop her daughter’s sword, with Valeria holding her tightly to ensure she wouldn’t accidentally fall off.
Shortly after, the carriage began to move forward, and Yuan and his wives soared into the bright blue sky, gliding through the air and matching the carriage’s pace effortlessly.
Inside the carriage, Princess Livia peered out the window with wide eyes and an expression full of awe as she watched Yuan and his wives flying gracefully through the sky. They looked like divine beings, moving freely through the heavens with ease.
‘It’s hard to believe people can fly through the sky like birds… it’s truly amazing!’ she thought, smiling to herself in wonder.
Although she had seen Yuan fly before, Princess Livia never expected his wives could also fly like him—it came as a huge surprise.
Turning to Aisha, she asked curiously, “Do you think we could also fly like that? Is it possible for us to soar through the sky like birds?”
Aisha smiled and gently shook her head. “I don’t think so. From what I understand, Yuan and his wives are not ordinary humans. They don’t use Mana like we do, which is why we can’t sense any Mana from them. Instead, they utilize a completely different form of energy—one that is far more advanced and powerful than anything we’ve ever known.”
“What?! That kind of energy actually exists in this world?! Isn’t that way too overpowered?!” Princess Livia exclaimed, her eyes widening in disbelief.
“Unfortunately, it does exist,” Aisha replied with a faint smile, sighing softly as she recalled her own initial reaction. “Yuan and his wives are living proof of its existence. There’s no denying it.”
She continued, “In fact, Yuan’s body is strong enough to endure the power of a legendary sword without even flinching. A weapon like that would be completely useless against him.”
“You’re perfectly safe with him—even if gods descended from the High Heavens to kill you, Yuan could defeat them,” Aisha added with a proud grin, her chest swelling with pride at her nephew’s overwhelming strength.
Princess Livia stared at Aisha, stunned by everything she’d just learned. She could barely process the fact that Yuan was so powerful and capable. But at the same time, it brought her peace, knowing she was safe under his protection.
Still, her mind was in turmoil. This revelation had shaken her understanding of the world. She had never imagined that other forms of energy existed beyond Mana. And the thought that legendary weapons couldn’t even harm Yuan—it was simply too much to take in.
‘Can someone like that still be called human?’ she wondered, deeply fascinated by Yuan’s strength and the mysteries surrounding him.
“Aren’t you his aunt and Miss Anna Grace’s younger sister? Don’t you know how they all became so powerful?” she asked, unable to hold back her curiosity.
Valeria chuckled softly at the question. In truth, she was just as curious. Although she had some guesses about the source of their unimaginable power, she knew there was still much they hadn’t revealed.
After all, she had personally asked them about their secrets. However, she was smart enough not to reveal anything to a stranger.
“Well, even though I’m his aunt, I don’t know much about their secrets. Even my big sister keeps her mouth shut and refuses to say a word,” Aisha sighed.
“Well, that’s quite sad, considering you’re his aunt,” Princess Livia muttered with a soft sigh, her gaze drifting toward the world outside the carriage window.

“Your Eminence, I have some interesting information to share with you,” the Priest said as he entered the cathedral with a wide smile, immediately kneeling before the Pope.
“Oh? Is that so? Kindly tell me what kind of interesting information you’ve got your hands on. I’m very busy right now, as the Angels are about to descend into our mortal world,” the Pope said without sparing the Priest a glance, his gaze fixed on the statue of the Goddess.
“Yuan and his wives just left the Imperial Capital City of the Lionheart Empire, and they’re currently heading toward our border—they’re coming to our Empire,” the Priest reported, his voice excited, his eyes gleaming with a wide grin.
“What did you just say?” The Pope immediately turned, looking at the Priest with a startled expression.
“I said, Yuan and his wives are on their way to our Empire. In three days, they’ll cross the border and enter our land,” the Priest repeated clearly, making sure the Pope understood every word.
“Hahaha! Good. Very good! They’re digging their own graves by coming here! I’ll make sure they suffer the most cruel and heinous deaths of all time!” the Pope roared with laughter, elated by the news that Yuan and his wives were walking straight into their doom.
‘This will save us time. After ending their lives, we’ll seize the Lionheart Empire and make it a vessel of the Holy Church!’ the Pope laughed inwardly, thrilled by what felt like a dream come true.
After composing himself, he turned serious and ordered the Priest, “Contact Conrad—the First Commander of the Holy Knights. He’s currently training the Heroes at the Imperial Castle. He needs to be informed immediately.”
The Priest nodded and left the cathedral promptly, bowing deeply to both the statue of the Goddess and the Pope in a gesture of respect and devotion.
The moment the Priest exited, a mysterious light began to radiate from the statue of the Goddess. A bright figure slowly manifested—its presence overwhelming and radiant with immense power. The Pope squinted but couldn’t make out the face of the divine entity that now stood before him.
“I’m here to inform you that two of my subordinates are on their way. They will arrive shortly and assist you in the war against the Lionheart Empire,” the mysterious figure announced, her voice echoing throughout the cathedral. It carried a distinct chill, firm and unwavering.
The Pope immediately dropped to his knees in reverence, refusing to lift his head as he basked in the divine presence of the Goddess he had devoted his life to serving.
“This humble servant is eternally grateful for your Divine Presence, my Goddess. I have no words to express the depth of my gratitude for this aid. I shall serve you for the rest of my life,” the Pope said with a trembling voice, remaining bowed low on the cathedral floor.
“Just keep doing what you’re doing. I have great faith in you.”
With those words, the radiant light faded from the statue, and the divine figure vanished into thin air. As the overwhelming presence dissipated from the cathedral, the Pope finally lifted his head and slowly rose to his feet.
‘This is a miracle… I’ve been blessed by the Goddess herself. I’m the luckiest man alive—to have met an actual goddess!’ he rejoiced inwardly, tears threatening to fall as he was overwhelmed with joy and awe.
