Nine Star Hegemon Body Arts

Chapter 6102 Terrifying Scene

Chapter 6102 Terrifying Scene

“This is…”

When everyone saw the world before them, they were stunned.

A vast, boundless passageway stretched out ahead, and spiritual qi surged forth from it like a raging river.

In that instant, Long Chen realized the truth: the necropolis was already a land of death. It could no longer produce spiritual qi on its own, so all of it was coming from this very passageway.

And from that passage, Long Chen felt something familiar. A call—one that transcended time and space. It stirred something deep within him.

“For the spiritual qi coming through the passageway to be this dense, just what kind of world is on the other side?” Luo Ningshuang asked, staring in shock.

“Chen-er,” said Long Zhantian solemnly, “calm your heart. See if you can trace the river of spacetime and grasp a few of its fragments.”

Spacetime energy rippled faintly in this world, almost like a phantom current. Long Chen took a deep breath and closed his eyes. His Spiritual Strength surged outward.

The moment his Spiritual Strength brushed against the spacetime energy, a colossal entity appeared above their heads.

BOOM!

That immense figure shattered instantly.

“Your heart is still too agitated, and your spiritual fluctuations are too intense. You can’t resonate with this spacetime energy. Let me,” Long Zhantian said, gesturing for Long Chen to stop.

He closed his own eyes and formed ancient hand seals. Then, a gentle seven-colored divine light rose into the sky.

The great figure reappeared—this time stable. It was a whale. An unimaginably massive whale, drifting through a starry sea.

Compared to its body, even the massive stars in the distance looked like mere grains of dust. It was as if a fish were swimming through a sea of sesame seeds.

Yet this great whale was ancient—its body rotted and decaying. As it drifted forward, chunks of its flesh peeled off and floated away.

When those pieces broke away, the stars nearby ignited as they absorbed the essence of the whale’s flesh.

With that, those stars brightened, a new vitality blooming from within them.

Suddenly, a gentle murmur echoed across the river of time. A sorrowful farewell. It was the dying whale’s last cry.

Divine light blazed. Within the starry sea, a cluster of nine stars appeared.

Long Chen almost cried out when he saw that. That was something he had seen many times before. The cluster of nine stars was… the nine heavens.

The nine heavens were so large that the whale didn’t seem as huge in comparison. But even so, it was just a slightly larger fish pool to the whale.

The whale drifted through the nine heavens, and only then did Long Chen notice the surrounding darkness.

The nine stars were bright enough to illuminate the cosmos, but the dark region was like a black hole devouring everything. Not even the brilliant radiance of the nine heavens could penetrate it.

Then, the heaven whale turned and opened its mouth, biting directly into that darkness.

BOOM!

Its body detonated, and divine light erupted across the sky, revealing a horrifying truth:

The region of darkness was actually a star. An enormous, dead, mottled star—far larger than the nine heavens. Its surface oozed rot and decay aura, as if it was at the end of its lifespan.

Even the titanic heaven whale was minuscule compared to it.

After falling, the whale transformed into light and poured into the dying star.

As the giant star received a boost of energy, a trace of vitality flickered from it. However, Long Chen was shocked to see dark totems appear on the star.

The dark totems were like a fiend’s tentacles wrapping around the star, and they seemed to stretch into the cosmos.

As the heaven whale emitted its final explosion of light, Long Chen saw giant figures—as big as the heaven whale—outside of the nine heavens.

That sight gave Long Chen chills, and a sense of terror rose within him. He knew he shouldn’t be seeing this.

Fortunately, the divine light from the heaven whale’s death lasted only for an instant. That world quickly descended into darkness once more.

The nine heavens still glowed faintly in the void, but compared to the suffocating blackness, their light felt fragile—powerless.

Space started to twist and layer around the whale’s massive corpse. Then, black specks flickered into existence. They were spatial rifts.

From those rifts, devil creatures swarmed out.

They resembled giant ants, their pitch-black bodies gleaming with a metallic luster. Without hesitation, they dove into the world the heaven whale had left behind.

They charged straight into the hole where the whale had poured all of its energy into the black star.

Thick black mist billowed from their bodies as they worked. They were repairing it.

Working day and night, year after year… That massive hole slowly shrank… until it became what it was now.

Once their task was complete, the black ant devils retreated, replaced by the bat-like devil creatures now standing guard.

And then—the vision ended.

The image of the nine heavens faded.

Luo Ningshuang gasped and rushed to support Long Zhantian as he swayed unsteadily. His face was deathly pale, and his aura was wildly unstable.

“Dad, are you alright?!” Long Chen asked, shocked.

Long Zhantian forced out a smile to reassure them.

He said, “I’m fine. My Spiritual Strength isn’t as vast as yours, so I overdrafted it a little bit just now. I’ll be fine after resting.”

Long Chen quickly handed Long Zhantian a soul-nourishing pill. His heart twisted with guilt. He had more Spiritual Strength than his father, but his control was clearly far inferior.

The spacetime energy in this place slowly started to dissipate. If they hadn’t resonated with it in time, they wouldn’t have seen anything at all.

Seeing that Long Zhantian’s complexion was improving, Luo Ningshuang finally asked, “Chen-er, what did you see?”

Before Long Chen could answer, Long Zhantian shouted, “Don’t say it!”

Luo Ningshuang froze, startled.

Everyone here had only seen the appearance of the giant whale. The vision disappeared shortly after. Even Luo Ningshuang had only seen the whale strike the black star before everything faded.

However, Long Chen continued staring into the air.

Seeing Long Chen standing in a daze, Long Zhantian realized that his son had seen far more than anyone else. That was why he had pushed himself further, sustaining the vision for as long as he could, even at the cost of overdrawing his own Spiritual Strength.

Luo Ningshuang couldn’t help but feel remorseful. She blamed her mouth for being quicker than her brain. If Long Chen truly revealed what he had witnessed, it would probably provoke catastrophic karma.

Long Chen hastily assured his mother that it was fine. He then slowly walked toward the spatial channel.
