"What the fuck was that for?" No.2 exclaimed as he was out in Jin's office and could still the phantom pain emanating from the shot that No.7 had given him. Explore more stories with empire
"Hmmph!" No.7 crossed her hands and gave No.2 a pouty face so as to make it seem as if he was in the wrong even though he made too much sense when the Commando Mage had decided to retire from the dungeon instance.
"I honestly did not expect you to do that for yourself," Jin said and even Kalki who was on the sidelines was rather surprised by her actions. Not killing No.2 but shooting herself to get out of the situation.
"Grrrr. No.2 is right. If you are going to put us in an endless loop where our efforts would be for naught, then I would rather end it early and hope that the rest would not be so stupid." No.7 grumbled while still holding her arms crossed.
Jin chuckled a little and told the two Commando Mages to look after the dungeon portal. He even gave them both the authority to get the Commando Mages out if they wished to pull their fellow comrades out. However, the only condition was to not abuse it. "Make them realise that continuing would be futile and then you let them out."
"So, you are technically making us the torturer instead of you yourself, my liege." No.2 realised that his King was pushing the responsibility on him which was rather unfair in his opinion.
"I am not going to touch anything." No.7 said as she continued to show that her arms were crossed and tight, leaving No.2 at a lurch. He could not exactly defy his King nor did he have the authority to command No.7 to do something that was not related to military operations.
Sure, he might have gotten his Vice Leader field promotion by his King but No.2 was not going to send out leaflets or shout out loud that he was promoted to Vice Leader position in the Commando Mages.
Thus, he had decided to quietly take the job that was given to him by his liege and sighed sideways just to keep his sanity.
Now that the responsibility had been given to No.2, Jin felt relieved his roundabout way to 'punish' his Commando Mages for even thinking to fight against their allies had been resolved, Kalki and he had decided to go out for dinner along with the rest of the Dashavatara in the Royal Castle to talk more about the upcoming exodus of the Celestials. The exchange between the Celestials was short but both parties, especially the Celestials were all ready to move out back to their home plane. But what Jin wanted was a few Celestials to stay over so as to maintain some Celestial's presence in the area since Jin himself was going to go back to his original world too.
Surely, the Commando Mages would be up to par in defending the area and some of the Demons had sworn eternal allegiance to Jin, but that did not mean they were strong enough to handle all the threats themselves. The King of Ress did think of using the Pandarians as part of the protection plan but he figured that they might actually be more useful in Jin's store instead.
Of course, he could have taken the entire kingdom of Ress into another world if his System would allow -aka his dungeon instance dimension. But his System had already decided that Jin do not have time to make anything even in his spare time. The number of hours he could wield was limited and the only time he made the best use of his spare time was ironically during this trial.
A year was going to pass in Ress ever since Jin joined and yet it was barely even a minute in his original world. While this was a boon for the System if Jin could utilise this particular world well, the problem was that things would change so drastically that it would not be possible to do so.
The kingdom of Ress might have died off, the world could have new conquerors from other planets and even dimensions now that he had touched various dimensions of this particular world just to feed his kingdom the necessary resources. If anything, Jin had made a mess of this world and its other dimension but he would not be there to reap the consequences he sowed.
However, because of this dungeon creation, the System also noticed that Jin had been ripping it out from different timelines, timelines from which the world might have splintered off from the millions of probabilities. The butterfly effect had made it so damn possible that Jin could create his dungeon dimensions from nothing.
Thus, for the past week in Atopia, the System was actually coordinating with the secondary system to see if they could link the dungeon dimension creation solely from this particular universe. If so, they might be able to keep the damage just to this universe and Jin would still be able to create something from nothing while not paying attention to the consequences he had resulted.
Of course, the second problem would come in. If Jin were to use this particular universe to interact with his original world universe, would it be an interaction of a multiverse? They did not need to worry if Jin used it for the Celestial or Demonic Plane since the Celestials pretty much break and create universes on a daily basis.
However, that would not be the same for Jin's home world. Even if he did not use it for his own home universe and used it- say for the Mecha World, there was no telling what would be the repercussion of introducing a second universe to the Mecha World's universe. Would it bite them back again?
"And that is one of the topics that Jin and I had discussed while his minions were off playing with Lord Vishnu," Kalki said to the entire group who were listening intently to the Goddess of War's explanation of why Jin also wanted a meeting with them aside the exodus of Celestials.
