"Now this is downright cruel." The System stated to Jin as it saw the progress of No.8 and the once deceased No.4 doing the activities they had never done before. From taking a simple train trip together to having fun in a theme park. "The System will once again remind User that he is already a villain and saying grand noble things to not attack the Mecha World is a mere contradiction on his own end."
"You are tripping on my guilt now?" Jin asked and the System did not respond.
"You are probably doing this because of your own possible regrets, isn't it?" Vishnu popped out right beside him rather than being in the dungeon instance that Jin had set.
"I am more surprised that you are willing to do this for me. I honestly did not expect you to accept this role in the first place." Jin replied. "And yes, I am doing this because I regretted pulling my punches against you, in hopes not to show off too much. I was afraid that other Celestials might be watching and you might just be the scout that was surveying the area."
"Heh. For a god to be a scout." Vishnu now lay on the office's couch. "Your imaginations might have gone wild over there in your head."
"Hey? Nothing is impossible, right? If a scout can be a god, that means the prophecy of the Celestials coming full force is not a far fetched thing." Jin reasoned.
"I really just happened to see the place for my own interest. Maybe scare the king with the highest potential in the region and just wander off. After all, the demons are overtaking the place and it will be a matter of time, before the Celestials intervene should the population of the demons reach a certain limit." Vishnu said.
"I am actually more concerned about one thing," Jin said as he knew that they were initially talking about the regrets Jin had thus creating this dungeon instance specifically for the Commando Mages. The main person he wished to target this dungeon instance was undoubtedly No.8 and he had successfully managed to tailor this dungeon instance to fit the desires of the person.
As a dungeon supplier, he felt satisfied that No.8 was able to embrace this opportunity to live through the regrets that she had and even though the memories would be with a fake No.4, the experience within the dungeon instance was too real to let go. He knows that this dungeon instance can go either two ways. Facing the truth that No.4 is no longer around or indulging in the experience of the dungeon instance.
Usually, the first option would undoubtedly be one of the stereotypical shounen manga stories where they face their past and continue to move forward as a stronger person from within but not everyone is mentally strong. Thus, to see No.8 decided to embrace the dungeon instance was her choice and Jin did not disapprove of her doing so.However, this dungeon instance aside, this was also an opportunity to see how Lord Vishnu would act as a minion in the dungeon. After all, he still has the card that controlled Vishnu, the way the System controls the minions under its purview. Jin was starting to figure that if he could turn the more powerful beings into his cards in the future, it might be possible that it would lighten the load of the System trying to hold control of the minions at hand. In fact, he was looking at taking existing strong minions like Diabolos, the Shaitans and Void Beings into cards, relieving the System of its processing powers.
He then used the card and controlled Vishnu just as how he would with a normal minion which so far stayed within his expectations. There were some ridiculously simple tasks that he added to the list of requests and all of them worked just as well. In fact, he believed the cards that he was holding made them more obedient than if they were contracted by the System.
But more importantly, those cards could not be snatched or destroyed by people. He tried various ways to break the cards and even used Mr. Hammer, a celestial made item to break it and yet it was to no avail. The System believed that the secondary System had been influenced by the various powers that had been seeping out from the multiple dimensions Mr Hammer had opened, causing it to grow stronger than it projected it to be. Not to mention, Jin did something rather strange when presented with free stats points every time the secondary system said he levelled up. He told the System to use it for itself. This is because, in his opinion, he felt that the level ups that he had were not as useful as he thought. And this was further reinforced when the original System analysed him.
Surely, he became stronger and more powerful but that was because his chi reserves had been utilised on a daily basis compared to the times when he was back in his homeworld. The System said that the constant usage of Maqi in this world made him stronger, but not those stat points at all.
So ironically Jin passing all the free stat points to the secondary System as a whim suddenly became a brand new power for him because those points were like some sort of miracle points reserved for the User when the secondary System grows. To have the User reinvest it into the System merely made the secondary System stronger and inadvertently, it provided Jin with one of the best possible perks he could ever wield.
Hence, to know that there was a substitute for capturing monsters, gods and some other weird beings with his powers, Jin could be officially said to be a bona fide dungeon supplier. However, as he thought of all of these wanting to share them with Vishnu, that 'one more thing' he was concerned about took precedence above all else.
"I feel like someone orchestrated the eventual clash of this world between the Demons and Celestials. Is this a natural way of order or someone behind the scenes that you are aware of?"
