Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 541 - 541: The Invasion (1) [Bonus]

Just like that, the days went by, and before long, the day of the invasion came.

Kent hadn’t slept for the past three days since he was stacking attacks using the Fractured Void skill. That particular skill he learned during his time in the Gaze Enlightenment was one that he held in high regard.

It allows him to load attacks into the Void, and then, at his convenience, he can unleash them. Initially, he could only stack up attacks for 24 hours.

However, he spent 100,000 skill points to upgrade it from Mythic to Immortal grade. This allowed him to stack attacks for two whole weeks in advance.

For the past three days, Kent had been stacking attacks, only stopping when his energy was depleted. But three days was a long time for someone to stack attacks.

In the end, he had stacked the second form of the Annihilation Sword Technique 5,000 times—meaning he could open the void and rain down attacks on the army like it was a typical Tuesday.

But that wasn’t the only skill he stacked. He used the [Elemental Lord] skill to stack thousands of different forms of flame beasts, with the smallest being 3 meters in height.

That skill allows him to unleash an attack by manipulating his elements. He used his Blue Void Flame this time to ensure the skill was utilized perfectly.

He also used the first form of the Nine Calamities Sword Strike to stack more attacks.

Kent didn’t want to waste time on this mission, so he planned on getting it done quickly. Eliminating half of the major threats would easily weaken them.

As for the rest of the army, he pitied them. He knew the moment he weakened the alliance force, the Bloodvein army would slaughter the rest.

“This is enough. I better get going now,” Kent said, jumping down from a 200-meter-tall mountain. He landed softly on the ground where Velyra was waiting for him.

Kent raised his eyebrows when he saw her.

“You look…”

“Different,” she said, making Kent nod. Velyra was out of her baggy gown, now clad in dark armor with a sword strapped to her back.

Her armor was an elegant mix of danger and finesse, especially with her skull-shaped shoulder pads. She looked truly different, and while Kent didn’t want to make it obvious, looking at her shape in those leather trousers made him want to admire her even more.

“I am a warrior, Kent. It’s just that when there’s no battle to fight, I prefer to live a peaceful life as a priestess.”

“I see. In any case, I think you look good in the armor,” Kent said, not hiding his admiration.

“Thank you. Now, let’s go. They’re waiting for us.” They quickly left the training ground and headed to the meeting hall, which also served as the throne room.

“Kent, this is General Xant. He will be leading the warriors.” The Tribe Chief, Malthar, introduced a thick, tall man whose features screamed hammer wielder.

He was at peak Core Formation with four evolutions under his belt, so he was capable of leading. Kent nodded in his direction before speaking.

“I used the communication token given to me by Prince Ebert. According to him, they are five hours out, meaning we have less than that to get into position.

Not that it’ll be needed much. From what I gathered, they have some secrets up their sleeve that are giving them confidence.

This means my main objective here is to make them reveal that secret even before the battle starts.”

“And how do you intend to do that?” General Xant asked.

“Simple. I will command them to reveal it,” Kent answered with a smile that made General Xant turn to look at the Tribe Chief. However, seeing that he wasn’t saying anything, he turned back to Kent.

“Let’s say you manage to make them reveal their secret. What then would you do?” General Xant asked.

“Again, very simple. I’ve already made preparations to handle five Core Formation experts from the enemy side and a few Sovereigns.

Now, I don’t know about the Soulshroud Tribe’s side, but I’m prepared to easily kill at least two elders of the Dreadclaw Tribe, their prince, his guards, and the leaders of their units.

The Soulshroud Tribe might prove stubborn because, from the information I gathered, they’re the masterminds behind this invasion.

This means the secret is with them. So after I handle the people I named, I’ll take their chief out of the equation. You can handle the rest.”

“If you can really do what you said, then I believe we can handle the rest, even if the minor tribes join them. My only issue now is whether or not you can live up to your claims.”

It wasn’t that he didn’t trust Kent; it was more that he didn’t want to have false hope. If Kent failed them, they would be in deep trouble.

“Don’t worry, General. I wasn’t sent here to put your life in danger. I will do my part, and hopefully, you can do your part too.”

The general and the elders nodded.

“If all goes well, the battle will be over in under an hour, so let’s all prepare to celebrate afterwards.” The elders laughed at his words.

“Priestess, I will require your assistance, so you will move with me. In that case, let’s meet on the battlefront.” Kent stood up and left with Velyra.

“Can we bet on him, Chief?” General Xant asked.

“Our priestess trusts him, so we have to trust our priestess. Also, he is the envoy of the Mother of Killers, so let’s wait and see what magic he can make.”

The general nodded and also left. The warriors were already at the border waiting for the enemy.

Kent and Velyra flew toward the battlefield where the 7,000 Bloodvein warriors were waiting. When they arrived, Kent found a tree and sat down, displaying a calm, nonchalant demeanor—unlike the Bloodveins, who looked nervous.

His nonchalant display made the warriors look at him with puzzled expressions. However, Kent didn’t even bother to change his posture.

Thus, a few hours later, the enemy arrived with an army five times the size of the Bloodveins. Instinctively, the Bloodveins began to panic.
