Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 544 - 544: 10,000 Soul Flag [Bonus]

Kent and Tribe Chief Calthar clashed, creating a shockwave strong enough to overwhelm those at the Transcendent level and below.

Their attacks weren’t simple at all. Kent was using his bare fists, as the tribe chief was doing the same. However, that didn’t mean the tribe chief was having it easy, despite undergoing five complete evolutions.

The moment one undergoes even a single evolution, their prowess rises to a stage that an ordinary peak Core Formation cultivator can’t handle.

However, Kent, who was only at the third level of the Root Ascension stage, was overwhelming him in physical combat. The reason behind this was that he was both a dragon and someone who had broken a limit on himself.

Breaking a limit is not something one can easily do. There are gods who haven’t even broken three limits yet. However, Kent had already broken one and was on track to break the second.

That alone was enough to place him at a level the tribe chief, despite undergoing five core evolutions, couldn’t comprehend.

“Just who are you, and what are you made of?” After getting punched in his translucent face, he spat out dark blood and asked.

“I’m just a concerned friend who can’t bear to see this person in danger. Just like how you helped cast such a nasty spell on those you called neighbors, I am helping them slaughter you scums”

“Do you know what you’re playing with? I don’t know where you came from, but messing with something you know nothing about won’t end well for you.”

“Don’t worry. The fact that the person behind you hasn’t appeared yet means they can’t appear now. At most, I have one month to run from here and be gone before they show up.”

Kent raised his hand, causing hundreds of doom shards to burst from the ground, blasting into the defense of Tribe Chief Calthar.

“And what makes you think the Bloodvein Tribe won’t be obliterated after you’re gone? Even if they take our domain, they’ll just be sheep waiting to be slaughtered.”

“But you’ll be dead, so why worry about that?” The void cracked open exactly one kilometer away, letting out a powerful sword attack.

It was the Void Cleave attack, and using the 1km distance, the attack landed hard on the defense, sending the tribe chief flying.

Kent appeared behind him and landed a powerful kick that sent him flying farther. The tribe soldiers who saw this just couldn’t believe their eyes.

However, Kent wasn’t paying attention to them, since he knew the tribe chief wasn’t that physically strong. However, his soul was even more robust than his.

Thankfully, Kent was immune to soul attacks, so it wasn’t like all the soul attacks coming his way could do anything to him.

Tribe Chief Calthar wasn’t having the best time either.

He was being pushed into a corner because his soul attacks weren’t working, and his physical prowess wasn’t much to speak of. Naturally, the outcome of the battle was already determined.

However, that didn’t last long. Suddenly, a three-meter-wide flag appeared in the air and unleashed a powerful aura that pushed Kent back, sending him flying toward the ground.

“A soul flag.” Kent immediately recognized it and frowned. He instinctively created a soul wall around himself and the tribe chief, preventing the soul energy coming from the flag from spreading out.

He then called out to Velyra.

“Velyra, move your battle back now!” He wasn’t even done speaking when a large skull emerged from the flag and let out a powerful howl, assaulting everyone’s ears.

Thankfully, the soul wall blocked most of the sound, so aside from a few nose bleeds, nobody died.

Kent narrowed his eyes at the skull, which turned and looked directly at him.

“This is a 10,000-soul flag we received from our benefactor. Do you now understand what is happening here? You’ve caused the doom of everyone.

They could have survived this if they had just handed over that damn Blood Heart Stone and that bitch. Now, they’ll become meat for my Skull.”

Tribe Chief Calthar raised his head and laughed, his voice echoing through the air, drawing everyone’s attention toward him.

When their eyes landed on the skull, whose eyes were burning red and erratic, they all gulped and instinctively stepped back.

Kent, however, stood frozen, staring at the soul flag with a curious gaze. It felt familiar, not in the sense that he had once owned it, but more in how the skull had been created.

For a moment, he felt like he could do it—like he had done this thousands of times before. That only made him question where he knew it from.

‘Jest is a swordsman. There’s no way he could do this. Which means… this is from my own past self. But that’s not important right now. I just have to crush this man’s dreams and aspirations first.’

“Very impressive of you to have something this dangerous. Though that skull can be comparable to a Tier 12 soul cultivator, I’m not afraid of it simply because soul attacks don’t work on me.

And you don’t have enough soul essence to unleash its true power.

That is why I can easily do this.”

Kent moved, and he was in front of the skull the next second. Before the tribe chief could do anything, he walked into the skull and, like the unruly bastard he was, released his lightning, fire, and soul energy.

Instead of howling, the skull now screamed as a powerful energy exploded inside it, shattering it in thousands of ways.

Before Tribe Chief Calthar could send it back inside to heal, Kent released another soul attack, completely destroying it.

The soul flag hovering in the air turned from deep red to pure white, signaling that the 10,000 souls used in creating the skull had perished.

“What have you done?” Tribe Chief Calthar asked, faltering in his steps. However, Kent didn’t answer. Instead, he blinked and appeared before him, snatching something from around his neck.

With a chuckle, Kent distanced himself before putting the item away.

Tribe Chief Calthar looked around his neck and realized his soul defense artifact had been taken. “You damn bastard!” His fury exploded, and he unleashed his soul essence into a devastating attack.

However, when it struck Kent, he just stood there smiling.

“Like I said, soul attacks don’t work on me. Now, be ready to die.” His sword appeared in his hand, and with a quick swing, it was back in the sheath the next second.

However, up ahead, the tribe chief, who couldn’t easily be killed, lost his head, which hit the ground with a powerful thud.

Just like that, he had died, not knowing how it happened.
