Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 805: Uncle Drake's DominanceChapter 805: Uncle Drake’s Dominance
While Kent was swimming in the past, a lot was happening in the future.
After the Flame Tower closed, as Kent expected, the various leaders of their respective races started arriving in Elarion. Their reason for coming was simple: they wanted to benefit from the sudden rise of the Half-Elves.
Of course, not all came for that; some came with different objectives and motives.
However, the Dwarves, being the first to arrive, were welcomed with open arms, for among the various races, they, to some extent, had some relationship with the Half-Elves.
In attendance were the Dwarven Queen Ylva, Princess Freya, her maid and best friend Helga, two elders, and the Great Blacksmith in all of Sonox, Metal King Magda.
Their visit contained all the ingredients for a good conversation and something to offer.
The Dwarf Queen was friends with Queen Jascia. This was their first good move, bringing the queen to have the conversation.
With her past with Queen Jascia, they indeed brought out the big guns.
The princess and her maid had already made contact with the princess of the Half-Elves during the Flame Tower trial, showing there was a path they could explore, too.
Then there was Metal King Magda, with his skills, power, and influence; the Half-Elves wouldn’t be able to turn them down.
Of course, the Half-Elves had no plans to turn them down, for they already wanted to ally with the Dwarves. This relationship would yield long-term benefits for both parties.
So they were received well, and even the princess and her maid joined the eight Half-Elves to train under Uncle Drake while the adults talked.
Days later, after Kent wakes up from his dream-like sleep, the result of this new alliance will become plain to him.
However, soon, more races started appearing, and while none were turned back, they were also not received with the same enthusiasm as the Dwarves.
This angered races like the Elves and Dragons. But the Half-Elves held no obligation to show them any respect when they never did the same for them.
Quickly, the day of the auction came, and that was what many had come for.
The auction was simple.
There were three parts.
In the first part, the items were sold for spirit stones. The highest bidder won. Five items were sold: the Dragons got one, the Elves got one, the Demons got two, and the Qilin got one.
The second part of the auction was an exchange.
The one with the item the Half-Elves wanted would give the item to them. Of course, they increased the quantity to ten.
The Dwarves managed to get four out of the ten since they had some rare minerals that the Half-Elves were interested in.
The Demons got three, the Qilin got one, and the other Beast races got the rest.
Then came the last part of the auction.
Only two items were sold: an Immortal-grade Ambrosia apple and a Tier 8 Innate Talent awakening pill.
Naturally, the Half-Elves had more pills and fruit, but they sold just one to send a message.
This meant that the moment one race bought it, the rest would want to get some too, which would call for negotiation.
The Half-Elves would use this to squeeze not only more slots for the next time the Flame Tower opened but also to build a relationship they knew would gradually take shape.
However, adding the Tier 8 Innate Talent awakening pill was just a way for them to flaunt their wealth.
However, because of this addition, something they never saw coming happened, and the outcome was something no one in attendance saw coming.
The Ambrosia apple was sold to the Dwarves since, when it came to money, they had it in abundance.
However, the moment the Tier 8 Innate Talent awakening pill was bought, seven powerful auras—ones that pressed down on everyone in Elarion—appeared in the air.
—
[Day of the Auction – What happened]
“Now, for our last items, ladies and gentlemen, I present a 100% pure Tier 8 Innate Talent Awakening Pill.”
High Priestess Dnul said, taking out a beautiful pill box with a white pill inside. The moment everyone saw the pill in the box, their eyes widened, and greed was evident on their faces.
The Crystal Dragon King slowly started retrieving a Tier 13 talisman, one that could unleash powers beyond the limit of a Medium world.
He had his plans, and this was the right moment to execute them.
However, just when he could fully take out the talisman, a suffocating aura pressed down on everyone.
“Hand over the pill and we will be on our way, else we will destroy this city and kill everyone within,” a great white shark man said, exuding both arrogance and power.
It was plain that none of the leaders there could match him, not even Queen Jascia, who held her husband’s arm, her face pale.
“Who are you people?” she asked, wanting to make sure.
“We are from the Great Sea Race, and that pill is something Lord Leviathan, the last remaining Leviathan from the ancient era, wants.”
Hearing his words, everyone shuddered, and their faces turned even paler. They had heard of the Sea race and knew of their power, so seeing not one but seven of them, they realized they were doomed.
However, just when some could start passing out, Uncle Drake calmly walked toward the center of the auction area and raised his head, looking at the seven sea generals sent by the seven sea kingdoms.
“Turn around and leave, or else only one of you will be returning home alive.”
His words dripped with arrogance, but the nonchalant look on his face and calm demeanor made the seven sea generals know he was no easy dragon.
However, arrogance has a way of blinding people.
Instead of running away, they chose to display their arrogance. “We came for the pill and will not leave until we have it. If you stand in our way, then you will be cut—”
SLASH
Before the Great White Shark could end his sentence, Uncle Drake moved and, with a casual swing of his hand, severed his head from his body.
SLASH
SLASH
Two more swings happened, adding more heads to the first one. But Uncle Drake didn’t stop there; he moved three more times.
SLASH
SLASH
SLASH
Within three seconds, six heads lay on the ground. Only a seahorse lady remained hovering in the air, her face pale like a white sheet.
“Take them and leave. Tell your Leviathan man, or whoever his name is, to come get the pill himself if he has the spine.”
With a swing of his hand, the headless bodies and their heads were sent flying several miles away from Elarion, with the seahorse lady and the dead bodies with their heads slamming into a mountain.
Back in Elarion, although the aura had been taken away by the quick and decisive massacre, aside from the Half-Elves who had recovered and had color return to their faces, the other races still looked pale, watching Uncle Drake walk away.
The Crystal Dragon King quickly returned the talisman to his pocket, knowing a sudden mistake would cost him his life easily.
Not only he, but the others planning to make a stupid move were all enlightened about the danger they were in, and that alone changed their minds.
In an unusual way, the power shown by Uncle Drake had made Kent’s dream come true much faster than he would have ever expected.
After the auction, none of them immediately returned home; instead, they all sought to explore a possible alliance with the Half-Elves and to secure a better future for their people.
