Lily arrived at the temple in the town’s square and entered.

In the utter darkness at first, Lily suddenly found herself under a lush tree with a gentle and cool breeze under the sun.

Everywhere she saw was a vast grassy plain of uneven heights like a hilly area with a river slithering through it all around.

“This…” Lily breathed once, and she felt like she became 50% stronger in all physical parameters! It was like a temporary boost, but she could feel this powerful energy buffing her just because she breathed it.

“Hello, young lady.”

Lily turned around with a snap and saw a floating, hazy woman’s upper half body. Her face was veiled, but her starry black-dusk eyes were clear to behold.

“It appears that you harbor rather different intentions than the rest,” the woman said with a light chuckle.

Instantly, Lily felt her heart turning cold.

The woman smiled at her.

Lily blinked and took a deep breath with closed eyes before opening them, her eyes utterly calm yet dead serious and determined. “And I won’t be changing my intentions.”

“Mhmm, I love blaze you ooze from your will,” the woman said and blinked, her smile ever-present. “Your intentions matter not to me as long as you have grit to act upon them. In this grim, grim world, the only thing that truly belongs to you is nothing but your will, after all.”

“Are you the person who acquired one of the seven Thrones, or someone who that person put in charge of this legacy?” Lily curiously asked.

“Take your guess.”

Lily sized up this mysterious half-body avatar for two seconds before answering. “I think you are the progenitor. Maybe you left a guiding spirit of yourself or something like that for this legacy.”

“Yep, something like that,” the woman said with a chuckle. “Now, I know that you don’t want to become a person of Achromatic Geneline, but instead, you want to devour it to enhance your Geneline, that I suppose you plan to complete when you receive energy to reach the apex Supreme Emperor from this legacy.”

Lily grinned. “Correct. My bloodline is the only direct connection I have with my husband, and he has made me a progenitor codex. I will empower this Bloodline myself and make it a proper Geneline upon breaking through to Immortal Emperor, and then absorb Achromatic geneline to evolve the Regalon geneline.”

“And you think you will succeed?” the woman asked, her eyes narrowing.

“It’s not that I don’t think I will succeed,” Lily shook her head before her fists clenched, and her eyes bore straight into the Achromatic progenitor’s eyes. “It’s that I must succeed. And I will!”

“And I suppose you can help increase my chances,” Lily added with a smile. “Because if you do that, I’d be able to save the Ruined Achromatic familia. I am not going to change my intentions, and you have no problem with it, so let’s do it.”

The Achromatic progenitor let out a rather hearty laugh, ringing like a melody.

“Your husband must be very lucky to have you.”

“He is,” Lily cheekily grinned. “And so am I to have him.”

Achromatic progenitor smiled and said. “Alright, let us start then. First, you should break through to Immortal Emperor rank since you are already at the peak of Immortal King.”

Lily blinked, feeling weird. “Wait, you are really going to help me?”

“I say I will help you, but that doesn’t mean you can succeed with a guarantee. Do you know the most crucial thing you’d need to succeed in this?”

“Yes, I know. I need to understand Achromatic as much as possible,” Lily said. “I’ve been focusing on it for the past year, aside from regular training to reach the peak of Immortal King and combat. I’ve understood Achromatic to a certain degree.”

“Now I can not only rob the senses of others in my Achromatic Domain, but also adjust it so that I can switch senses. Make one see what the other person is seeing, and hear what a different person is hearing.”

“And most importantly,” Lily’s eyes flashed. “I managed to comprehend the basic principle of this. Black. It can de-authorize anything. It’s especially effective in breaking bonds, seals, contracts, and such. Gray. It can create an area where things can be robbed from and switched with each other in the area. White. It can sort of erase parts. White is the most difficult so far, and I only recently comprehended its existence in Achromatic Domain, but I think White can work with Black and Gray to do some pretty chaotic things.”

“Great. That’s absolutely correct in the basic sense,” Achromatic Progenitor said as she clapped and smiled.

“I can see why you managed to get one of the seven thrones. When you use these three main aspects of Achromatic geneline with the myriad of assets, you can create some powerful abilities,” Lily said with a grin. “And now, I must make it a part of Regalon.”

“As I said, that’s up to you. All I will do is to help you glean into Garden of Achromatic Shrine, my main conceptual power that birthed this Geneline.”

Lily’s eyes it up. “That’d be awesome.”

“If you can make the Ruined Achromatic clan stronger, and help them survive, I don’t care if it’s name changes,” Achromatic Progenitor said with a smile. “Now, you start your breakthrough first so we can proceed further.”

“Great.”

Lily didn’t take long. After an hour, she finished the creation of her Power Palace successfully and broke through to become an Immortal Emperor.

Once she was done, the Achromatic Progenitor said and waved her hand. “Here, your jug to progress faster.”

A transparent glassy jug filled with faint gold and orange liquid appeared.

“What’s this?” Lily asked as she grabbed the jug.

“Take a sip. Make sure the sip is small.”

Lily did as told, and in the next second, her entire being felt as if it received the purest, powerful, and sublime energy.

She felt her mind, body, and soul getting elevated to the most comprehensive and powerful enough.

Her Body, Soul, and Mental constitutions increased directly!

Lily’s eyes shone, and she took another sip.

“Yep. Take sips and finish it. Don’t take a mouthful or it could result in waste as well as severe injuries, which will take longer than usual to heal.”

“This is awesome, but what is it? Some kind of resource in the third layer, I suppose.” Lily took another sip and felt the divine power rising in her Body, Soul, and Mental constitution.

“It’s Godsvine Nectar. It’s not that rare, but you have to cultivate the vines properly to make it perfect.”

“I see.”

Lily continued to take sips every few seconds.

In two hours, she finished the entire jug and reached the peak of Immortal Emperor.

All of her stats reached the foundational limit of 5000.

“Here, I’ll give you a sparring partner, so get into some action.”

Lily grinned. “Want me to show you the power of a Regalon?”

“Of course. That’s the main reason I am telling you to spar.”

Achromatic Progenitor waved her hand, and a mirage of a warrior eight feet tall in full body slender armor and wielding a spear appeared.

“Alright, bring it on.”

Lily’s eyes flashed as two chakrams began floating around her while her hands wielded two daggers.

As Lily fought with the spear warrior, Achromatic Progenitor was watching the powers Lily used with focus.

The battle was intense, but silent. Lily couldn’t hear the sound of clashes and the effects, but she understood it was the power of Achromatic.

‘This warrior is powerful and fast.’

Lily blinked. As her daggers clashed, she inflicted a rain of debuffs on the warrior, but the warrior replaced all debuffs with buffs!

In the end, Lily lost the battle in five minutes, her expression dazed.

“He had the same stats as me, but I lost…” Lily looked at the only tree to her left, where Achromatic Progenitor’s half-body avatar was floating with a smile.

“Don’t be disheartened, haha. You fought against a warrior who had a complete Achromatic Geneline, and make no mistake, it’s more powerful than your Regalon bloodline, but as I see it, your Bloodline has much more to offer. After all, it’s not a complete Geneline yet. You still have a lot to develop.”

“Yes,” Lily said with a nod and sat down under the tree. “Now that I’ve reached the peak of Immortal Emperor, I want to make this Bloodline into a proper Geneline.”

“Al has already broken through to Immortal Emperor, and I can feel him upgrading the Bloodline right now,” Lily added with a grin. “We are going to make this Bloodline into a Geneline together, and it’s going to be the most potentially powerful power.”

“Don’t be in such a hurry to say that. There’s still a lot to improve upon in your Genelines as you become a God-rank lifeform, but it’d be different than what you’ve been doing so far,” Achromatic Progenitor said with a chuckle.

“I mean, I understand the weakness of Regalon as well,” Lily said. “Currently, its main power is heavily dependent upon the targets we kill. But Almond and I already know that, and we are going to make this Geneline complete with superior aspects from combining our ability trees.”

“Alright, I am going into deep focus now.”

At that, Lily closed her eyes and entered into deep focus, opening her Bloodline source and beginning the operation.

On the other hand, the Achromatic Progenitor fell into thought.

‘That power….if it is as I felt, then it seems familiar.’

‘Power to wield aspects of others, to create a catalyst of a complete being…’

‘That sounds like….
