1849 Messages
When the White Sand Guard heard about the fact that Sam sent a message to the headquarters of the Solar sect, they were stunned, to say the least.
“Why would you do something like that? We might have been able to get a smooth victory because of your tricks, but that doesn’t mean, we can underestimate the Solar Sect.
Even if it is just one of the three main powers, its strength far exceeds the White Sand Coast. The Dark Sea Sect didn’t allocate enough power to this area to clash with the full power of the Solar Sect at the moment.”
Even the Guard captain appeared flustered for the first time.
Sam shook his head and showed a video recording of the message he sent and they were stunned.
The message is obviously sent by the puppet clone he made of the person in charge here and the gist of the message is this.
“The White Sand Coast has settled down and stopped its advance as the path to their base is currently covered with these demonic vines that are attacking the cultivators. Unless the powerhouses are willing to fly through for a long distance as open targets, they are unable to do much about this and even in aerial battles, the vines are going to be a great hindrance.”
And along with the statements, there is a video attached to the message. The video is the aerial view of vines that surrounded the city and a bit of extended footage on how it covered the rest of the area as well.
The guard members immediately understood the significance of the message.
.....
The clone created by Sam is impeccable, it is hard to figure out that is a fake unless they saw it directly. Through the message transmission, it is impossible to figure it out. Then the added footage of the surroundings is going to add a certain level of validation to the message.
The guard captain wanted to ask some questions, but before he could do that, the communication formation received a message.
Sam controlled the puppet to check it out.
He is surprised by the person on the other side of the message. It is one of the faction leaders of the Seven Star alliance.
“Commander, can you confirm that the advances of the White Sand Guard and The Dark Sea Sect have stopped because of the vines?
Because, as you already know, the envoys said that the Dark Sea Sect is behind the spread of these vines in the territory. So, how could they be hindered by the presence of these vines.”
When the White Sand Guard heard this message, they widened their eyes in disbelief and Sam just chuckled.
“Don’t worry, your send doesn’t have anything to do with the vines. It is just a misbelief they have.”
“You know that this would be their response?”
“Of course, I do. I am one of the envoys they are talking about.”
Sam spoke with a smirk and then made the puppet reply to the message.
“Yes sir. As you know I have closely worked with the envoys and even cleared some of the vines in the surrounding areas before. But these vines seemed different. Their aura is not the same as the ones that we encountered before.
From the reports of the scouts, it seemed like the forces of the Dark Sea Sect are equally surprised by the presence of the vines.
At first, they tried to use some kinds of tokens to try and march forward from within the vine-filled area and it actually worked a little bit.
The vines seemed to have been struggling against the token holders. But after some time, the vines attacked them and killed a lot of low-level soldiers. It dealt a severe blow to their forces.
So, I am thinking these vines might not be part of the Dark Sea Sect’s plot, but might be a gift from the Envoys.”
The video was sent and Sam started making some other preparations.
“Can you spare me a couple of corpses you collected from the people that died here? Also some uniforms of the Dark Sea Sect soldiers.”
Sam asked the guard captain.
Even now the White Sand Guard are puzzled and didn’t understand what Sam is trying to do, but they are still obliged to his demands.
So, while waiting for the next message, Sam created a couple of puppets that looked like the dead bodies of the Seven Star faction members.
Apart from them, he started disguising the corpses of the seven-star faction members to that of Dark Sea Sect members.
He changed their faces with some inscriptions and then used the clothes of Dark Sea Sect soldiers.
After that, he went out to the vines with his crystal tablet and the items he prepared as he started taking some videos.
First, he threw the puppets that looked like the members of the Seven Star faction into the vines. The vines are not doing anything.
Then, he threw the disguised corpses into the midst, the vines attacked the corpses like crazy. Of course, in the video the corpses didn’t look like corpses. From the people watching it, they are defenseless soldiers who couldn’t fight back and only get consumed by the vines.
After the video was over, Sam just waited.
Soon, another message came over from the other side.
“Do you have proof?”
“Of course, I do. I have investigated it thoroughly and here are some results.” Sam replied back and sent the video he took.
He grinned as he did that.
Seven Star Alliance truly believed that Sam and the other players are envoys sent from Zeus, with all the benefits they gained they are very grateful and trusting towards them.
Sam decided to use it to the fullest.
Even after waiting for a while, there is no message from the other side and Sam just smiled wildly. He looked at the White Sand Guard and said.
“It seems like my plan is going to work. So, let’s just wait for the Dark Sea Sect members to arrive here, before we proceed forward.”
They didn’t know what to say. Sam walked past them and suddenly seemed to have remembered something and said.
“Oh, I will be going to the area behind the mansion to cultivate, please don’t come there. I am on verge of a breakthrough and I don’t like revealing some details of my cultivation to you guys. It is better to keep that boundary and please don’t make me lose my trust in you.”
With those words, he walked away.
He placed a large concealment formation in the empty area behind the mansion and waved his hands.
Yanwu and the other beasts came out and they all looked at Sam happily.
“Finally guys, we are free. No more restrictions for a while and we can go crazy. Let’s break through first.”
As Sam said, he started taking out some Divine dimension fragments. In his quests throughout the hell training, he managed to obtain a ton of them. In fact he has way too many at this point and of course, Sam didn’t let them go to waste.
At his current cultivation level, spirit stones didn’t provide too much direct benefit. The absorption rate from them is way too slow as he had to absorb hundreds of millions of spirit stones worth of energy to see any progress.
So, he tinkered with one of the projects he previously dabbled in. When he was destroying organizations with his teams, he created something with the Divine Dimension fragments that could replenish energy for his team members.
These fragments have the same principles. They all contain vast amounts of energy from the spirit stones and it is converted into liquid form right now, Sam really doesn’t have to do much. He just had to throw the spirit stones into the formation mechanisms he set up inside and the energy is deposited into a large pool in the middle of the Divine dimension fragment.
Now as he laid down the divine dimension fragments as the nodes for a formation, the energy from these pools is gathered around Sam and the beasts as they absorbed it hungrily.
In a way, Sam has gotten some extra training because he can be active in hell, while the beasts lie dormant in the divine dimension.
So, the first order of business during his breakthrough is that he needs to balance the level of energy between himself and the beasts.
After they have an equivalent level of energy and he distributed the effects of corruption refinement in hell with the beasts, then he would be ready for the breakthrough.
He cannot wait to enter the Divine Plane of cultivation.
After all, he has been on the verge of a breakthrough for a really long time and he couldn’t hold back any longer.
The beasts and Sam started cultivating and luckily the formation setup didn’t cause any changes in the surrounding environment as he is not absorbing energy from outside.
But this actually caught the eye of the White Sand Guard.
They were all astral plane cultivators before and they all went through a breakthrough.
They know for a fact that the surrounding energy will be affected by a large margin for the breakthrough, but they didn’t sense a single fluctuation. They are really curious about what is happening.
