Lu Hao intently watched the zombie birds that continually circled and gathered in mid-air. Group attack?

Zian yelled from inside the car. From the woods behind the clearing, several staggering zombie shadows were attracted by the noise!

But the two didn’t let them come down to help, so they had to stay inside the car.

Su Jin also noticed the zombies approaching from behind. Fortunately, they were just ordinary zombies. She produced a plant in her hand and, after a green vine wrapped around the plant, she threw it to the ground. It quickly grew until it reached the height of Su Jin’s shoulder!

A Venus flytrap, seemed to have grown larger? Su Jin thought.

But now was not the time to be distracted. She needed to keep up defenses for Lu Hao and herself.

The Venus flytrap behind Su Jin and Lu Hao swayed a few times, positioning the animal trap towards the direction from which the zombies were coming.

The first zombie ran over and was instantly caught by the vine from the mouth of the Venus flytrap and pulled into the animal trap.

“My God, what did I just see?!” a woman rubbed her eyes, wondering, plants eating zombies?

“It must be that little girl’s Wood Element Ability,” someone suggested.

“Those two are incredible, and that man’s Fire Element is so powerful,” another chimed in.

“Yes, I’ve never seen such a powerful Fire Element Ability!”

No wonder that girl said the Base Leader spent 6,000 Crystal Cores to hire them to protect the survivors.

They’re absolutely worth the price!

On the open ground, Lu Hao, seemingly tireless, kept releasing his Fire Element Ability, causing many black objects to fall wherever the flames reached.

Just now, the dense flock of Zombie Birds in the sky had thinned a bit, but Su Jin and Lu Hao still dared not be careless. A peck from these Zombie Birds would be as bad as a bite from a zombie.

The reason she didn’t let Shao Zian and the others come down to help was precisely because if they did, the Zombie Birds would scatter their attacks, which would disadvantage Lu Hao’s current fire strategy. Meanwhile, the Zombie Birds wouldn’t attack the flytraps at all.

“It’s about time, are you doing okay?” Su Jin asked Lu Hao.

“Yeah, no problem,” he replied.

Lu Hao’s expression remained unchanged as he kept a vigilant watch on the skies.

The only discomfort he felt was in his neck, which seemed a bit sore.

So, the people in the vehicle watched the man wielding Fire Element Ability free one hand, tilt his neck, and begin massaging himself…

All the while, his other hand continued to release Special Ability Fire.

Well, alright…

Who could complain when a single hand was enough to handle the Zombie Birds without any pressure.

When the last Zombie Bird in the sky was eliminated, the two finally breathed a sigh of relief. The nearby Venus Flytrap seemed still to be digesting; Su Jin didn’t notice how many zombies it had eaten, but it seemed like a lot…

After dealing with the Zombie Birds and the zombies around them, the two didn’t get back into the vehicle right away, but instead, surveyed the vicinity before returning. Su Jin truly admired Lu Hao—he had taken her around, and they had indeed discovered something suspicious.
