Chapter 571: Beau’s power
Beau looked around herself and couldn’t help but be astounded at his powers. She moved over as close as she could to the Unity beam and lightly tapped her finger on it.
Her finger sizzled, with her skin incurring a second-degree burn even though she only made contact with the beam for less than a millisecond. Getting out of this cage wasn’t as simple as she thought.
“Your Aubilities are amazing. It can pause an object’s time and momentum in a complete halt. But I can see that this is not the limit of your Diva,” she said. “Do you know what’s the point of the Body Formation realm?”
Michael only had a surface level understanding of Diva cultivation, but he knew the answer.
“It’s the realm where Maugnetics get to understand their Diva.”
Beau nodded. “That’s right. This is an important stage for both you and me. The better you understand your Diva, the easier you’ll have it in the later stages. So, I have to ask you. Why are you not listening to your Diva?”
He looked at her, confused. “What are you talking about?”
She pointed at the two arms above his head. “You’re not listening to it properly.”
“I’m trying to,” he insisted.
“But you’re listening with your ears, not with your heart—that’s literally where your GodForge pieces are located.”
Of course, it was easier said than done. How could he listen to something not using his ears?
“Then tell me how.”
Beau wagged her fingers. “I can’t. I’m not gaining anything by giving you a shortcut to the answer.
Of course, there’s an easy solution to that if you want.
Come with me and we’ll work together. I’m willing to give you half of my company, and we can grow it together. I’m sure that with the two of us side by side, we can someday reach the big leagues and join the Major Factions.
And if you want a little bit more than that…hehe…then I’m willing to give that to you as well.
If you agree, then I’ll help you listen to your Diva.”
He had to admit. Just by a little bit, he was tempted to agree to her terms. Not with the innuendo part, of course, but with the working together part.
However, he knew that he was just getting impatient with himself. Being a part of the Pyramidic Cuisine wasn’t worth it.
“Thanks for the offer, but no.”
Beau shrugged, not taking the rejection seriously. “Well then, I guess I’ll just have to show you what you’re missing out.”
She pointed the Mithril Relic Cleaver knife in his direction, with her Diva mimicking her movements completely.
Her body glowed with a yellow aura just as the feminine Frankenstein Chef Diva above her started to move its knife and its flat pan like a real chef.
She was using her Aubility.
Michael immediately raised his hand, with the tip of his finger glowing with the power of Unity.
With such a small and cramped space, the advantage was on his side. She would have even less time to evade from the beam.
As his [Unity Gun] powered up, both of Beau’s hands began to glow in two different colors. One was red and one was white.
Once the power in his hands reached a peak, he immediately shot it off towards Beau and aimed directly for her heart.
Its speed was almost instantaneous to a normal person’s perspective. Even as the beam traveled towards Beau, her eyes didn’t seem like it had even processed what was happening in the moment.
But just then, the Frankenstein Diva chef suddenly moved forward, bending down towards Beau and using its flat cooking pan to protect her heart from the [Unity Gun].
Suddenly, a bright white light emerged from Beau’s left hand, forming a circular shield that coincided with the Diva’s flat cooking pan.
The Unity beam clashed towards the circular white light, with their point of contact creating a tremendously bright flash that blinded everyone around it.
By the time Michael processed what happened, he saw his Unity beam nowhere to be seen.
Beau was uninjured.
“What just happened?!”
Even the crowd was confused. The speed at which everything unfolded was far too fast for them to keep up. The only people who understood what happened were those Maugnetics from the Major Factions.
The Rising Six were also clueless. Reena, Erlos, Reptar, and Tenzing only saw a blur before everything flashed a bright light.
“How did she not get hit by Michael’s beam?”
“I saw her Diva move, but I don’t know what it did.”
“Her Aubilities shouldn’t have a defensive power that can defend against Michael!”
All of them were confused. Except one.
Phim looked down at the Pocket Dimension with wide eyes. Even though he only saw a blur just like the rest of them, he immediately recognized what he saw.
“That…that’s mine!” he exclaimed.
The other Rising Six turned to him, confused.
“That’s my light Aubility! She is using my Aubility!”
Phim’s Aubility allowed him to create solid light that could be formed into anything his heart desired. It could be a sword, a hammer…and even a shield.
“How is that even possible?” Erlos asked him.
“I don’t know,” Phim muttered. “But that’s my Aubility, there’s no doubt about it. My light’s speed is also near instantaneous. That’s how she’s able to defend against Michael’s beam in such a short time frame!”
Just then, they saw Beau’s hands start to glow with a bright light before it formed into a solid shield that she wielded on her left hand.
This essentially proved Phim’s claims.
Everyone who knew Beau was shocked at this new revelation. They thought they knew what she was capable of. But this was a completely new power that they had never seen before.
“She…she got stronger!”

Michael looked at the white shield in Beau’s hands with confusion.
“That’s…Phim’s Aubility,” he said to her.
This time, Beau was surprised. “How did you know? You’ve never met the guy, right?”
Of course, he didn’t tell her that he was spying on them earlier. He had used his Drone Vision to scout ahead, and saw her fighting Phim and Tenzing. That was how he knew about Phim’s Aubility.
“But yes, you’re right. This is Phim’s Aubility. Do you like it? It’s from my new Aubility. I recently found out that not only can I use ingredients to strengthen constructs, I can also use them to strengthen myself.”
Michael used his Supreme Talent and looked at the Light mana signatures in her body.
At the center of her body was a large and dense grouping of Light mana. Meanwhile, the rest of the Light mana in her body only came in sparse groups—except for her hands.
On her left hand, he saw a completely different grouping of Light mana that was structurally different from what she had from the rest of her body.
It was the same with her right hand. It was also a completely new arrangement of Light mana particles, meaning that this wasn’t hers.
She can use other Maugnetics’ Light mana as ingredients to reinforce her own body! That’s her new Aubility!
