“She’s fine. This is just part of the process. Once she’s recovered, your constitution won’t even compare to hers. Relax.” Xue Ling nodded approvingly after looking at the anxious Qin Xue.

Chu Molin saw Xue Ling’s satisfied expression and felt deeply puzzled. His wife was delirious with a fever and yet Xue Ling was content. If Xue Ling hadn’t stopped him, he would have taken her to the hospital much earlier rather than waiting this long.

Remembering what Qin Xue had said about Xue Ling’s abilities, Chu Molin chose to believe in him for the time being. If the fever didn’t break by tomorrow, he’d take her to the hospital himself.

Chu Molin walked out of the room to see his two young sons looking at him pitifully. He carried them, one in each arm, to sit on the chair.

“Taotao, can you play a game with Uncle Daddy? We won’t tell anyone that your little brother understands us, okay?” Chu Molin sounded like someone tricking a little child.

“Okay.” Surprisingly, Jingtao agreed without hesitation, which made Chu Molin even more curious about this kid’s intelligence. By all measures, this little guy seemed to be quite exceptional.
