"Don’t you think it’ll be dangerous, Sylphy? Maybe wait for later?"

"It’ll be fine, they weren’t that big… and I bet mine won’t be huge, right? I haven’t reaped any souls at all so…"

Even though Alice was a bit worried about it, I quickly decided to activate the Skill because my intrusive thoughts won once more.

Yes, I wanted to see what cursed critter from the depths of hell I could summon, and I wouldn’t stop until seeing what it looked like at least!

The Skill allowed me to "store" them within a pocket dimension or something, so I can immediately move it there if its too big or destructive.

So…

"{Demonic Beast Summoning Ritual}!"

FLUOSH!

A huge crimson pentagram opened in front of me, rising above the wooden floor and startling me slightly. I felt my demonic energy being drained into the pentagram, rapidly creating something from within it.

A monstrous aberration from Hell, a Demonic Beast quickly took shape and materialized! The demonic energy turned into flesh, blood, bones, skin, and even hair, a monstrous entity from the depths of hell.

"Raawwrrr!"

And it was… the cutest thing ever?!

"It’s so small!"

I was holding it in the palm of my hands.

Everyone else in the room, which were mostly all my Familiars, were also equally shocked after seeing the small size of this little goober.

"W-What the hell is that thing?!" asked Ignatius gasped. "Pfff… Hahahaha! It’s way too small! You call that a Demonic Beast?!"

"Incredible! So you can truly summon them! However this thing is… for a lack of a better word, tiny," muttered Furoh.

"It’s pathetic! Can’t you squash it with your bare hands? This is beyond anything I ever imagined you would be summoning, Anna…" sighed Beelzebub.

"Graaarrrr?"

Everyone glared at him… or her, or them, as they glanced at them back, with their only, big eye on their little body.

This creature could only be described as… a ball of dark red hair, with a tiny white horn on its head, and a single, big eye in the middle of its spherical body.

It didn’t even had hands, or legs at all, and its demonic aura was so weak I couldn’t even feel it.

This little guy was perhaps the most harmless, weakest, and cutest Demonic Beast we’ve ever seen.

"Nam nam!"

However, out of nowhere, he opened his jaws, showing several sharp teeth, and jumped over Ignatius, biting his head strongly.

"Nom!"

"Aaaghh! Ouch, it hurts! You damn little shit! Stop it!"

As Ignatius complained, I noticed a system message.

[Due to your lack of Souls, you have summoned the Lesser Demonic Beast: [One-Eyed Imp]!]

[Lesser Demonic Beasts can be summoned as long as you have demonic energy and require close to zero Souls.]

"So I could probably summon these guys endlessly if I had more demonic energy…" I looked at the little guy as he was biting Ignatius.

Yeah, the thing is, I have very little Demonic Energy if anything.

I have Abyssal Energy from the Curse though, that’s the primary power I use to unleash the Darkening Ability and other related powers.

However, Demonic Energy? I can’t really make much, if anything, very little. I think I spent all the demonic energy I gathered through over a month summoning this guy.

Yeah, for a True Demon Duchess, I’m really pathetic!

However, although their body looked small, the fangs were sharp enough to leave large wounds over Ignatius dragon scales.

So there’s some good things about this lil’ guy.

"Come on little Imp, come here."

"Graarrr!"

He suddenly jumped out of Ignatius head and into my own head, beginning to bite my hair off.

"Aaagh! Wait, don’t bite things!"

"Nammm!"

However, it protested at me, suddenly jumping into the bedroom and beginning to bite the pillows, eating them one bite at a time.

I panicked, screaming.

"W-Wait a bit! Don’t do thaaaaat!"

Then I grabbed the Imp, opened my Inventory, and stuffed its mouth with a big piece of bread and cheese!

"Gummghh?!"

The little Imp’s big eye opened widely, as it started eating, bite after bite, until felt satisfied.

It was a small creature, some once it ate enough, it calmed down, thankfully.

"Phew… Greboboohh!"

And he made a very adorable sound.

I can’t believe this little thing came from that horrible place!

"Feeling better now? You just wanted to eat something; I see. You were hungry!" I nodded.

"Greeaarr!" the little one roared.

"So what’s… Uhh, are you a boy or a girl?" I asked.

"Greehh?" he glared at me without even understanding what I said.

Maybe Demonic Beasts at this level simply have no sex?

But how do they reproduce?

Wait…

And just as I was beginning to wonder that, the little Imp gained a second eye, and then a second horn, and its fat body bulged up, slowly beginning to divide.

Don’t tell me…

"Guguh… Guuhhh!"

POP!

"IT DIVIDED?!"

Everyone watched in both horror and disbelief as we saw that it created a near identical brother, except this one had a smaller eye and horn, and its red fur was slightly clearer.

"Geboboo!"

He released a little sound from his mouth, and then looked at me, as if waiting something from me.

More food?

"Uuh, Sylphy?" wondered Alice.

"Yes?" I asked, as I was about to give it more food.

"I don’t think it would be a good idea to feed it… more food for now," she said. "You feed it bread and cheese, and it just divided!"

"I-I know, it’s crazy right?" I asked with a nod.

"I know it’s crazy but don’t be reckless! What if you end with thousands of them?! Try to be more moderate- Uwaaah!"

She panicked as she saw me feeding them more bread and cheese.

Oops?

They ate it happily, then rested.

But this time, they didn’t divide!

"Huh? It isn’t dividing anymore?" Furoh wondered. "What a relief…"

"Y-Yeah, that scared me shitless," sighed Ignatius. "But what a peculiar demonic beast this is… Can you summon more individually, Sylphy?"

"Nope, I’m completely dried out of demonic energy…" I laughed. "That guy cost me all the reserves I made for over a month, you know?"
