Reincarnated As The Hero’s Daughter: Wait, Why Is My MP Not Running Out?
Chapter 1471: Hunting Goos-----
So at the end, that damn thing wasn’t even a Goo King but something even worse, a "Goo Queen" for some reason.
"So what’s the difference anyways?" asked Celeste, grabbing the rainbow-colored stones. "Ooh these are really pretty!"
"Unlike the Goo King who is usually between Tier 4 or 5, the Goo Queens are much larger, and can reach Tiers as high as Tier 8! Sometimes… it has been said there was one in this dungeon that was Tier 9, a Goo Queen that has lived for thousands of years producing the majority of the Goos in the dungeon!" said Ruby. "Y-You don’t think we just killed that primordial monster that has lived for super long time, right?!"
"Eeeh… I would say… don’t think about it," I shrugged, as I grabbed the pretty rainbow stones. "Oh wow these are amazing!"
I could immediately sense a lot of spiritual and magical energies within them at a very condensed and high-quality state.
It was a top-notch material that was at least SS Rank of quality!
"B-But this is important!" Ruby cried. "A-And… wait, if it was a Queen why was it surrounded by female Goos of pink color? Are Goos capable of changing sex? That’s interesting… has it even been registered?"
"Hm, it was taking the form of a traditional Goo King though," I said. "So maybe it can either turn her sex into male and become a Goo King to reproduce with other females, or perhaps it was pretending to be one through mimicry so it can take the corpses they were offering as easy food?"
"Seeing how it was so lazy before we started hitting it, maybe…" Celeste said. "Or maybe it was the other, whatever… It doesn’t matter, dude’s dead.""Yeah, I was wondering something," I said. "Is there any info about their cores? This one’s really shiny."
"Ummm…" Ruby started reading. "It says that the Goo Queens have very bright colorful cores, the more colors they have the older they area… Two colors, one hundred years old, three colors, three hundred, four colors, four hundred, five colors… five hundred or above."
"Oh this one has six colors though," I said. "Look how bright it is!"
"Aah! Six?! It doesn’t say anything here!" said Ruby. "So maybe it truly was that old goo…"
"Oh man… well, whatever!" said Celica, shrugging. "Not like it really matters right Ruby? It was just a monster."
"Y-Yeah but the population of Goos might be affected, and their materials are important for the production of a lot of beauty and hygiene products…" said Ruby, very worriedly.
"Wait, really?" I wondered.

"Yeah! they’re used for skin care products, cream made using their drool hydrates skin and leaves it smooth for almost a whole day. No other cream is as effective as that one. Then there’s the shampoo to leave my hair glistening, then there’s the and the, and that one and this one…"
She kept talking about all the types of beauty and hygiene products, which she was obsessed with. I don’t know if I’ve ever known a girl that talked so much about these things than her, seriously…
"Okay, oaky, we get it… but we can’t do much now that its dead," said Celeste. "Sylphy can you collect everything though? I bet it’ll cost a fortune to sell."
"Yeah, about that, let’s keep it. I have the feeling they might be good materials for the potion we have to make…" I said. "Remember? The Polymorph Potion? this Goo Queen was capable of shapeshifting a lot. Perhaps it could make some good materials for that potion."
"Oooh right!" Ruby gasped. "How didn’t I think about that?! By the gods and I ended forgetting?! Right, right!"
Her mood instantly changes the moment she heard this could her get that polymorph potion of perfect grade.
"And seeing how good the materials quality is, it could even be an ingredient for the permanent potion too, huh?" Celeste smiled teasingly. "Maybe for someone, a certain girl that wants something permanently."
Ruby blushed a bit as she sighed.
"O-Okay, no need to tease me…" she sighed. "Let’s go then… I just hope the Goos can reproduce."
"It’s a Dungeon, monsters will always reproduce inside and begin moving around and doing all the weird stuff monsters do, so don’t you worry," I winked at her. "Let’s go then!"
"Yeah, yeah…" nodded Ruby.
We walked outside of the dungeon with all the materials we wanted to collect, making our way back to town on top of Furoh’s wyvern form.
As we were moving back to the adventurer’s guild though, I noticed a little something.
Ding!
[You and your party have hunted down [Blind Fishes Variants (Tier 2 ~ 4)] and [Goos Variants (Tier 1 ~ 9)]!]
[You earned 5.000.000 EXP!]
[Ruby] has gained 23 Levels! She has reached Level 24/40]
[Red] has gained 8 Levels! He has reached Level 8/20]
[Celeste] and [Celica] gained 3 Levels!]
[All Your Other Familiars gained 2 Levels!]
Wow, only five million but that was enough for these two rookies to get some nice levels. However I’m a bit surprised, isn’t Red F Rank?! Yet five million EXP only gets him eight levels? Wait, even with Ruby! She just began so why so little? Both of them should have maxed out instantly.
Hmm, maybe because both started strong? At least Ruby, she has already been growing over many years I suppose… so her stats were naturally higher already, therefore, the stronger you are the harder it is to level up faster.
Then there’s Red… he’s a Demonic Beast, and the system kind of worked and kind of didn’t work on him, partially… maybe due to how strangely compatible he is, he only gained so little from leeching off, after all he didn’t participate in the fight actively.
"And here we are, back where we started!" I said, entering the guild building. "August, we’re done!"
"Ooh? You’re back already?" August was reading the newspaper while drinking coffee when we got there. "Nice! Let me see what you hunted- Aaah?!"
He screamed the moment we showed him the rainbow core fragments and the super rainbow-colored slimy goo of the Goo Queen.
"This material is so high quality it probably costs a whole street of this city!"
