As Aquarina fell from one of the deepest and darkest pits of the world, and as the darkness was all she could see, she thought about many things. Falling for ten kilometers straight was not normal at all, and it took several minutes to reach the deepest layer below. The impact would be extremely hard, and any normal body would simply explode into meat paste.

She had to concentrate, closing her eyes while constantly strengthening her body… However, even with everything she had learned, she knew this wouldn’t be enough. And nobody ever said she had to survive with just this anyways. After all, she was already strong even before this training, and the combination of such strength with her new additional strength was what would allow her to surpass her limits.

"{Abyssal Embodiment}: {Abyssal Black Steel Body}"

She encompassed her own body with the power of the Abyssal Embodiment Technique, part of an inherited genetical ability her father’s family possessed, which made them unique compared to the other tribes of humans.

Darkness encompassed her, as shadows became one with her flesh and blood. Fusing with her already strong and tough body and reinforcing it even further, while giving it a special type of mass to her body, one that seemed much more capable of taking hits, materialized shadow and darkness.

"You’re approaching the bottom, Aquarina!"

Her Water Spirit, Undine, alerted her as she quickly hugged Aquarina from the back.

"Please don’t die!"

She was crying while hugging her, embracing her in her Spiritual Aura. Undine wasn’t that good at body strengthening magic, btu she was doing everything she could.

"I won’t, don’t worry."

Aquarina felt the air becoming denser and denser, and the temperature had also become hotter the deeper she went.

However…

"Raaarrr!"

Leviathan also appeared floating around her and coiling its long serpentine body around her torso and chest, imbuing her with a cold air that seemed to help her resist the ever-growing heat.

"Leviathan, give me your scales!"

"Rooaarr!"

Aquarina quickly merged with Leviathan, and underwent Draconification too, when merged with him, her Draconification would also become tougher and stronger!

{Divine Abyssal Frost Leviathan Double Aura}!

And then she activated her Aura Skill, as a double Aura emerged, one resembling a dragon made of darkness and shadows resembling many snakes, and then another resembling Leviathan’s former appearance, made of frost.

They coiled around her body, forming an armor-like solidified Aura!

"Okay, this is everything I got!"

As she roared, the bottom touched her feet.

BOOOMMM!!!

And she fell, reaching the very bottom of this gigantic pit.

The fall was so incredibly intense that for a moment, it felt like a whole mountain fell over her shoulders.

If she were to die in this situation, her Divine Protection would activate and save her.

However, that wasn’t the point! She had to sustain the fall on her own, and survive to grow stronger from the intense pressure and damage into her body which would then heal back and make her even tougher.

"Come on…!"

Within that split second she felt the immense force hit her legs and then the rest of her body, she straightened her posture, staying straight.

And then…

RUMBLE!

The ground below shattered into pieces as she created a gigantic pit, countless cracks going down several meters.

"Ugh…"

Aquarina fell to the floor, gasping for air.

"I-I’m… alive?"

She couldn’t believe it worked, and even more, without activating any Divine Protection!

"Ah, fuck…"

However, she quickly realized that although her legs didn’t broke or something, her muscles had been torn to shreds.

"Aaagghh!"

She gritted her teeth, also feeling countless cracks through the bones of her legs. She quickly began to heal herself with the help of Undine, only for something to fall from the skies.

BAAAM!

A huge ten-meter-tall boulder.

"Aquarina, it’s not over yet!"

Undine panicked, as Aquarina nodded.

"Ah, right…"

She looked into the skies.

"Do I have to face all the boulders as they fall? Or should I dig underground and stay there until its done?!"

"Svana never said anything about withstanding the boulder rain! But if you want to do it, it could help you train… even more, but it’s insane! Just dig underground and-"

CRASH!

Aquarina quickly intercepted another boulder as it fell with her bare fists, shattering it into pieces.

"Nah, I’m going to punch every damn boulder coming my way! I’ll destroy my hands but… it’ll be worth it! Fuck it!"

Aquarina wasn’t a masochist, but she knew that by doing this, she could attain an even higher refinement of her body.

Every excessive physical training she had undergone helped her physique cultivate even further.

Every painful exercise, every painful torture.

It all added up, the more damage her body withstood and then regenerated from, the stronger she would become.

This was the ridiculous physique that Amazonians had…

Not many ever dared to train like this, only the people at Everstone were insane enough, only because they belonged to an old and ancient lineage descended from the first Hero of Stone, the Barbarian King Bjorn.

"RAAAHHH!"

With all her might and fury, Aquarina intercepted the falling boulders, jumping from place to place, punching them away one after another and shattering them into pieces, which still ended filling the ground.

"Change of plans! I’ve decided I’m not going to let her bury me here! We’re climbing ten kilometers and destroying every damn boulder she throws at me!"

"WHAT?!"

Undine was shocked Aquarina suddenly changed her mind on the fly!

Unlike Sylphy, who was often calm and composed, Aquarina was very hotheaded.

She would often times just change her mind on the fly, and even decide to do the opposite of what she said she would do!

"But Aquarina, that’s even harder, it’s impossible! I only suggested it while you stayed down but…!"

"No buts Undine! You gave me the idea, and I’ll do it!"

Aquarina rushed upwards, punching the massive boulders as they came one after another.

The speed in which they fell was tremendously fast, as a huge magic circle above the pit constantly summoned them by the thousands per second. Find more to read at
