Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?
Chapter 1603 1603: Runes And Food—–
Aquarina glanced at the system notifications while she walked to the village, having noticed her magical abilities had increased rather nicely.
Ding!
[Due to having written, comprehended, and created many Runes while constantly letting your Mana and Spirit Energy flow, your Magic Circle has grown stronger.]
[Your [Magic Circle]: [Tier 7: Rank 8: Abyssal Spiritual Ocean Princess Magic Circle] has Ranked Up to Tier 7: Rank 9!]
[You have learned several new Spells, and older Spells have been strengthened and improved. Skills that are of these Elements also become stronger the more Runes you possess.]
[You gained +7.000 MP!]
[You gained +5.000 Magic!]
[You gained +4.000 Resistance!]
It seemed that all that effort ended paying really well, as her Magic Circle Ranked Up to Rank 9 out of Tier 7! She only needed two more Ranks to reach Tier 8 and catch up with her Physique.
At first she hadn’t really believed her mother when she said that doing this could benefit her growth and magical power, but she ended up being completely wrong, and she was happy for that.
Although she doesn’t remember forging her own Magic Circle’s Runes, it seemed that the ones she made outside of her Magic Circle somehow affected the ones inside.
Perhaps it was something automatic she did, instinctually within her own body and magic circle where her runes grew and expanded, and then connected, combining into larger spells.
At the same time, the more runes a magic circle had, the stronger it was, and also the more Mana she would be able to both produce and sustain within her body, increasing her MP Stat.
Also, more Runes meant stronger Magic, so her Magic Stat, which represents her Magic’s Power and the Power of the Effects too, also increased.
Lastly, when someone is greatly attuned to magic and mana, their bodies naturally become much more resistant to it.
Therefore, the Resistance Stat, which represents defense against magical attacks, curses, and other status effects provoked by them, also increased lightly!
“I almost don’t feel any different than before though…” She thought. “But through all that effort I feel refreshed? Maybe as I did all of that my magic power slowly increased, but because I was overexerting myself, I just couldn’t be bothered to even feel it…”
Aquarina quickly came to the correct conclusion. Growth is usually not something that just makes you ten times stronger after working out for a whole year, just the day after. It is a gradual process. And because it is gradual, those that are too focused on their task may not even feel it until it’s time to use magic or fight.
Ding!
[Your [Shamanic Alchemy Arts: Lv5] Skill has Leveled Up!]
[You learned the [Runic Formation Construction Arts: Lv1] Skill!]
“Now this is pretty interesting. I leveled Alchemy while doing a formation?” She wondered, rubbing her chin as she reached the village and could smell a lot of food was already prepared by the villagers. “So the Alchemy Skill I have also counted as a Formation and Ritual Creation Skill?”
She wasn’t wrong with that either, the Shamanic Alchemy Arts worked around the concept of “rituals” which she created using her Alchemy.
They were rougher than normal or advanced Alchemy like the one Sylphy was learning from her new master, Felicia, and perhaps rather imperfect.
However, Shamanic Alchemy was the closest Alchemy could get to becoming “natural magic” as it connects with nature itself and the magician’s surroundings to be conjured and even powered up.
This also gave birth to unexpected effects and items with unique abilities. For example, what happened to Justicio with his Physique and the Spirit he acquired, it was all mostly thanks to Aquarina’s Shamanic Alchemy Arts, which mixed Spiritual Energy into the entire thing.
Technically, it was a Skill that wouldn’t have been born by natural causes, as it was conceived because Aquarina overuse Formations and Spirit Energy to power them up with her Spirits always infused into her body.
It was a unique circumstance, a power only she could have made…
“And this one, a new Skill! It’s pretty interesting, all things considered.”
Aquarina immediately could tell what this new Skill could do to an extent, by opening the palms of her hands, small runes began to manifest out of her own Mana and the Spirit Energy of her Spirit Familiars.
FLUOSH!
As it did, it began to rapidly assemble into a formation, although it was still slow and rather hard to control completely, it could help Aquarina create formations much more easily.
Perhaps at higher levels, to create them automatically!
She never really thought of herself as a strategist though, formations, aside from when she uses them for alchemy and rituals, aren’t her thing.
However, with this skill there might be some interesting things that she could do with it, especially against overwhelmingly strong foes.
She had already grown strong and was already also trying to learn how to use many different weapons without limiting herself with a few, so this also came as something that could widen her fighting abilities.
“Smells good, what’s being cooked?” Aquarina wondered, reaching the village and walking towards Agua’s house, it was the largest house in the village, made mostly out of wood, with some stone and mud, and covered with plants, flowers, and vines.
“Oh, they must be cooking the lobsters from yesterday, and also some mollusks,” explained Agua. “Also there’s some boiled Paprikya seeds, they’re nice and soft, and go well with any meat.”
“Paprikya seed?” wondered Aquarina. “Where do you get those?”
“We grow them on a separate area, a bit farther away from here,” explained Agua. “They’re small grasses that produce little green fruits. The fruit pulp is bitter and not tasty though, so we usually throw it away. But the seeds inside, once boiled, shed their shells and have a very tender interior! Each one is as big as the tip of our pink finger, so a few dozen can make for some good garrison at the side of the main dish.”
“Ooh, I’m looking forward to eating that then! It’s like the rice I’ve eaten sometimes, but not quite…” Aquarina nodded.
Aquarian felt slightly excited, this world had so many delicious ingredients everywhere awaiting to be eaten, even monsters varied in flavors so much all across the world.
It was truly a dangerous world, but also one full of delicious food!
