Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1608 1608: Mother And Father Explore The Dungeon

—–

The moment Shade and Nepheline stepped into the second dungeon floor, they immediately found a swarm of a few dozen, three- to four-meter-tall lobsters, they were gigantic to the average person, with metallic exoskeletons that seemed indestructible, and they were also covered by bright crystals.

Not only these monsters seemed exceptionally physically tough, but they also held great physical power and magical and spiritual energies within them, making them mighty all-rounders that even most experienced Adventurers would struggle against on a battle, even more with dozens of them everywhere.

However, for Nepheline, they were nothing but food.

“Oooh! The delicious lobsters that Aquarina and her friends brought!” Nepheline gasped. “Nice! This’ll be a good warmup!”

She smiled, cracking her knuckles as her powerful Aura surged, cracking the floor beneath her foot, her aura exerted a mighty pressure around her surroundings, as if gravity became a hundred times heavier.

“W-Wait a second Nepheline!” Shade was a worrywart, but Nepheline charged forward, without a care in the world.

“HAAAH!”

With a ferocious roar, the Hero of the Stone Hammer used her bare fists as hammers themselves, infusing Mana into them and reinforcing them until her brown skin turned like black metal, shining brightly.

BAAAM!

With a huge explosive blow, the nearest lobster was punched away, hitting the ceiling and then falling back onto the floor, dead. The punch had literally blown a hole through its body, the metallic shell, its tough internal muscles, or the magic barrier protecting it were all ineffective.

“Alright! Who’s next?!”

As she saw the dead body, Nepheline slowly walked forwards, her surroundings trembling before her mighty Aura, which hadn’t even released its true power yet.

The lobsters surrounding her stepped back, it all happened too quickly, and also Nepheline was becoming taller and larger as time passed, as if she was “unsealing” her true power and her physique’s might.

“…”

Shade sighed, despite how much Nepheline reprimanded Aquarina for being reckless, the mother wasn’t that different. Whenever she wanted to let out of some steam, she would happily go against armies of monsters on her own.

“As they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree…”

He glanced as his wife rushed forward, her punches piercing through the magical barriers trying to stop her with extreme ease, shattering them into pieces as countless bright, glass-like fragments of magical barriers exploded and spread everywhere.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Her punches couldn’t even be called punches anymore, each of her blows released an explosion as the pressuring force of her aura compressed and erupted with immense force.

The Tier 7 Monsters were thrown away as if they were not even small fry, but trash on the road. Their bodies riddled with holes, as Nepheline pushed her fists forward with immense strength, speed, and dexterity.

“Phew! That was a nice warmup! Honey, we got a lot for dinner!”

Nepheline cleaned the sweat off her forehead as she rested her hands in her hips, glancing at the monsters’ corpses around her. Shade sighed, walking towards her and storing them inside of his Shadow Storage.

“Yeah I suppose this’ll last for a few days,” Shade nodded. “Though, they were only barely a dozen, I remember Aquarina said they were close to a hundred, right?”

“Most likely the rest are still growing or something, right?” Nepheline wondered. “I think she mentioned some sort of corridor that led to a huge hall where a pool full of seawater was located, where these things came from.”

“She said they only appeared when they approached the pool as well, but now that we found them all the way here, it probably means they had begun wandering around the entire floor and not just their room,” Shade analyzed. “The dungeon is most likely still developing, but it has definitely advanced into a new stage of growth.”

“Hmm…” Nepheline looked around her, noticing large rivers of Mana flowing through the ceiling, walls, and the floor. “There’s an awfully large flow of Mana everywhere, the Dungeon is still growing as you said… Usually, when Dungeons become fully made or are old, they barely have much mana flowing through them.”

“If the mana is flowing to this extent it means that it is still growing new structures, traps, and probably monster spawn points,” explained Shade. “For now let’s go check that room Aquarina said, I want to see something.”

“Alright then,” Nepheline nodded. “Let’s go.”

The two walked through the corridors, Smilkas looked bored as she glanced around, flying and trying to find something interesting, until she got inside a room.

“Smilkas, where are you now? Come back!”

Nepheline called for her, quickly becoming a bit grumpier as she felt annoyed over having to look over a spirit as if it were a child.

“Uwaaccck!”

Out of nowhere, Nepheline and Shade heard Smilkas’ scream, the two quickly ran to the origin of the voice, finding a large room leading to an area full of statues resembling humanoid sea snail people wielding tridents, swords, spears, axes, and shields.

“Smilkas! Are you okay?!”

Nepheline glanced at her Spirit, finding her in the middle of several of these statues, pointing their weapons at her and trying to catch her. The spirit flew around evading their blows easily.

“I’m being attacked by a bunch of handsome golems!”

As an Earth Spirit, she found the golems quite appealing to her…

Nepheline and Shade looked at her and then quickly walked away.

“H-Hey! Don’t leave me hereeee!”

Smilkas panicked, chasing after her master, but the statues quickly blocked the entrance, weapons pointed at her as they fiercely attempted to catch the little creature.

“Ugh, what you’re doing is nothing but cute, you know?!”

She got pissed off, swinging her little hand and suddenly manifesting a massive hand made of mud, crushing three golem statues in a mere second.

CRAAASH!

The weight of her mud was immense, and it drained their mana instantly, leaving the statues as mere empty, magicless husks of stone.

The other three statues were quickly blown away as she released mud bullets, which struck their bodies and stuck them into the walls.

“Maybe you need to know your place here, you dare attack a Gnome Spirit such as myself?! Hmph!”

Before the statues could even free themselves from the sticky mud, their entire bodies began to slowly turn into mud, melting away.
