Chapter 1009: VIP Ticket Fighter
As soon as Allison dropped the news that Xu Feng was actually a VIP Ticket holder, the spectators went crazy.
"He’s a VIP Ticket holder like us?"
"Wait, could he be the person in the booth that we wanted to meet earlier?"
"Damn, that could be a possibility. If that’s true, then this Jackie sure knows how to kick an iron plate. We must learn from him so we know who to avoid."
"Agreed, this Jackie is literally the definition of warding off bad omen on our behalf."
The crowd became intrigued and nearly worshiped Jackie as the warden of bad omen. They held zero sympathy for Jackie’s current plight because who told him to take the initiative from them?
Not to mention, they refused to be associated with the tainted Carlson Family.
Despite Jackie claiming the legal court battle was ongoing, almost everyone in the upper class knew the Carlson Family was done for.
After all, one of the victims was secretly a daughter of a more prominent family.
The daughter went undercover to experience the world, but the family behind it never imagined their cherished daughter would be subjected to sexual harassment.
It was a good thing that the harassment was only some touching and threats. Otherwise, it would be a miracle if the Carlson Family didn’t vanish overnight.
Insiders knew about it, but even so, not everyone cared about the news such as Rebecca. She only disdained Jackie because she found him disturbing and her instinct was basically screaming to her that he was a villain.
"Wait, let’s talk this through," Jackie said in a panic upon learning the person pinning him down was a VIP Ticket holder. His imagination of the situation was completely overturned.
"This is a misunderstanding." He added, clearly afraid of the security arriving now.
"Yeah, we’ll have the security judge whether it is a simple misunderstanding or a malicious ploy aimed to smear a VIP Ticket Holder." Xu Feng coolly responded.
There was no way he would allow Jackie off the hook when he sought eternal damnation against others.
Moreover, Xu Feng had heard about the Carlson Family incident in the past timeline as well. It was said that the victim was someone from a first-graded influential family.
Although the name of the victim was censored, he had a feeling that they would soon show themselves after this farce. After all, Xu Feng was doing them a great favor by detaining Jackie and essentially using him to corrupt the Carlson Family as a whole.
Daring to attack a VIP Ticket holder in a city competition event was no different than a terrorist attempting to attack a city. That was how significant the city competition was. Not even first-graded cities dared to manipulate the result or bribe any fighters to throw the match.
The best they could do was offer benefits to those who win, otherwise, once exposed and caught doing such action, the culprit was destined to sit well in prison.
While Jackie kept pleading for mercy and that it was an impulsive action stemming from his family conflict, Xu Feng turned a deaf ear.
Soon, the security guards arrived and spotted Xu Feng stepping on top of another person.
"What’s going on here?" One of them asked. Despite asking though, the security guards were already informed of the whole situation.
There was no CCTV inside the VIP Booth, but outside, it was filled with CCTV to prevent any mishaps.
The question that the guard asked was just protocol and to see who would dare to lie.
Luckily, the crowd wasn’t foolish either and relayed the event without adding or concealing anything.
The guards nodded their heads and walked toward Xu Feng.
"Sorry, but may I see your ticket?"
"Sure," Xu Feng swiftly retrieved his phone and showed his ticket. Upon confirming his status, the guard then asked him to lift his foot up.
They will take over the situation here and promise to give a satisfactory outcome to them. After all, there was also Rebecca and Allison involved in the incident.
Needless to say about Rebecca’s reputation, just Allison’s identity alone of being related to Alfred was someone they had to tread very carefully.
With tears and snot running down his nose, Jackie was dragged away. His squirming was useless in the face of these trained security guards.
"We apologize for the inconvenience to the VIP Guests." The guards promptly apologized solemnly and continued, "To compensate, a large feast has been prepared for the guests. Additionally, Mister Xu Feng, Miss Rebecca, and Miss Allison, a private venue with some distinguished elders are waiting for you."
"Distinguished elders?" Xu Feng furrowed his brows. He then glanced at the two women, only to see them shrug their shoulders, indicating that they were clueless as well.
Meanwhile, Allison discreetly walked behind him and whispered, "For the guards to call them distinguished elders, they should be people on par with my uncle, or even above. It’s best that we agree to the meeting."
Hearing that, Xu Feng nodded and gestured for the guards to guide them.
Sometime later, they arrived at a large venue and as soon as the door opened, someone began greeting them.
"There’s my VIP Ticket Fighter!" Alfred’s voice resounded.
"Uncle?" Startled and alarmed, Allison didn’t expect to see him here.
As for Rebecca, her eyes scanned around the room and realized why they were called distinguished elders.
"I didn’t expect Grandfather to be here as well. You should have told me in advance so that I can wait for you at the airport." Rebecca smiled bitterly as she locked on an elderly man.
Her grandfather, Derrick Richards, actually arrived in Avalon City secretly without informing her or the rest of the family.
How could she not be stunned by his appearance?
Meanwhile, Allison also spotted the elder and promptly greeted him as well.
Only Xu Feng remained in a daze by the sideline.
He appeared calm on the surface, but silently, he was confused and didn’t understand the situation. ’What the heck is going on?’
