Chapter 1034: Sensational

Dawnshire City, Silver Wind Guild Residence𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

"Guild Leader, I’ve verified the posts. It didn’t seem like the posters were spouting nonsense." Steelshot, the Gunner and current captain of a small team in the Silver Wind Guild reported.

"Not just nonsense, but it’s practically confirmed that the guilds being called out had truly become dogs for the Illuminati." SilentWhisper, a Sorcerer and captain of a larger team than Steelshot said with a frown.

"No wonder why some of the guilds that’ve been suffering in Dawnshire City become able to breathe again and confront us. They’ve managed to find themselves a big thigh to hug." She continued, clearly despising such guilds.

It was one thing to ally with another guild or team up momentarily for better value and another thing to completely submit to another guild.

Gentle Wind sat on the main desk with a complicated expression. "These guilds are really something else. No wonder they’ve collectively begun making a move right when the Vanguard Guild town was opening. I can’t even join them."

The initial plan was to make a grand entrance to congratulate the Vanguard Guild, but thanks to these collective lesser-influence first-rate guilds’ actions, she had to halt and delay her movement.

Only after delaying and personally making a move did the storm calm down a bit as she managed to suppress them.

But before she could heave a sigh of relief, the numerous posts from Carlton and Rodney caused her to go from relief to anxiety.

Thanks to that, she had ordered SilentWhisper and Steelshot to verify whether the information was true or false.

’Just how terrifying is this Illuminati? How and when did they manage to rope in so many guilds in their organization?’ Gentle Wind furrowed her brows and frowned deeply. If it weren’t for these posts, then she would have still been kept in the dark, unaware of the looming danger.

She tapped her fingers on the desk and opened up a group chat. In the group chat were people from previous allied guilds or trusted individuals from the old games.

Needless to say, the group chat exploded in full frenzy.

Sunblade: This is crazy! The post really exposed all these hidden crooks under our radar.

Blake: My Guild Leader has already ordered us to eradicate these pests in our city and other bases.

Herald Fist: Hmph, these spineless guilds are really making us look bad. If I see one of them, then I’ll give them a ruthless punch.

Iceheart: *Doubt*

Herald Fist: ???

Iceheart: Do you think those who have been exposed would let you encounter them?

Herald Fist: You got a point...

Gentle Wind: We should form a team consisting of our greatest players to target them. They sought to cause chaos and drive down the city’s population.

The message that Gentle Wind sent instantly received many thumbs up.

Clearly, they were all just waiting for one person to raise the idea to team up.

Once that was done, Gentle Wind privately messaged Autumn Breeze aka her bestie, Zhao Xin. Ever since the Siege of Colossus event ended, Autumn Breeze had been absent in the guild.

Although it wasn’t said explicitly, Gentle Wind understood that she was departing from her guild.

Autumn Breeze’s objective in the guild was completed. Thanks to her help, Gentle Wind managed to solidify her position in the real world. Her other siblings could only glance at her enviously and swallow the bitter pill that they lost to her in the succession war.

Shortly after the private message, Gentle Wind received a response.

Autumn Breeze: I’ve heard about the exposing posts. The Illuminati is quite something else.

Gentle Wind: I’m thinking of creating a team formed with other first-rate guilds to combat them. Are you willing to join with that guild under yours?

Autumn Breeze: Dangerous as it may sound, but the Illuminati is no different than other Super Guilds. I’m not worried nor do I intend to waste my time on them. I suggest you head over to Haven Wind Town and send your elites to their training hall instead.

Gentle Wind: Their training hall eh...

It would be a lie if Gentle Wind wasn’t eager to head over to Haven Wind Town and experience the training hall. She had only been able to witness some of the process but wasn’t able to experience it personally.

And now that there was even news of Illuminati Natasha joining the Vanguard Chamber of Commerce to experience the training hall, her eagerness only intensified.

Who didn’t know what kind of implication was held behind joining another chamber of commerce?

Speaking of the chamber of commerce, Gentle Wind also noticed a few commenters in the post pinging Miracle Pavilion on their thoughts.

After all, in the exposed posts, it was mentioned that the Illuminati was a member of their Miracle Chamber of Commerce. Sometimes, players, especially those who were casual but very gossipy types, were extremely scared when they got to work investigating everything whether it was online or virtually.

Autumn Breeze: Anyway, I’m going to be heading toward the town to experience it. There’s no point in wasting your energy on the clowns who decided to become someone else’s dog.𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Upon reading the last message, Gentle Wind saw her status going from online to incognito. Needless to say, Autumn Breeze no longer wished to be disturbed by changing her status.

She took a deep breath and turned her attention to SilentWhisper and Steelshoot.

"The two of you should start making preparations to enter the training hall from the Vanguard Guild." She declared.

"Yes, Guild Leader!" Excited, the two of them had long heard rumors about the training hall having a miraculous effect.

The training hall had literally become sensational when it was revealed that Natasha was willing to join the Vanguard Guild Chamber of Commerce just to be able to enter the training hall.

While this was happening nearly everywhere, with many wanting to see what the hype was about, back at Haven Wind Town, the unaware Natasha came out of the chamber with a blissful expression.

"Wow, that glistening face of yours is so bright and flashing." Xu Feng quickly commented upon seeing her come out.

"Hmph, don’t be too jealous." Completely oblivious to the hidden meaning of his comment, Natasha placed her hands on her hips and flashed a wide grin.
