Chapter 1050: Migration

Upon seeing the name of the sea dungeon, a look of astonishment flashed in Xu Feng’s eyes.

"Phantasm Sea Legacy Part 3 of 7?" His mouth twitched slightly. Granted that it was part 3 of 7 that he had discovered, it meant that there were 6 more of such dungeons awaiting for him to stumble across.

Depending on the difficulty and challenge of each Phantasm Sea Legacy, this could take weeks or even months.

’Isn’t this just a world quest type of duration?’ He pursed his lips.

To be fair though, Xu Feng anticipated the mission to be quite long based on the name. He just didn’t think it would require a lot of navigation and patience.

Alas, now that he was already in progress on the mission, he wasn’t going to give up half-heartedly.

As he braced himself to face the upcoming sea dungeon, outside the Phantasm Sea, or more specifically, the Haven Wind Town was experiencing a surge of player traffic.

Haven Wind Town

"My gosh, what is wrong with the others? Even with the exorbitant fee, many are still shoving me to the side. I nearly couldn’t enter the town despite having the money." A berserker player was seen complaining just a little bit away from the town’s gate.

"You don’t say? If I knew the Haven Wind Town had something miraculous like the training hall, then I would have come in advance." Another player complained right afterward.

While these players came through the waiting line outside the town’s gate, players from inside stared at them with amusement.

"Oh, look, another batch from Reave Town. Imagine making the wrong decision and then complaining."

"I know, right. Good thing we have the town token to arrive via the teleport platform, unlike some others."

"Heh, speaking of town tokens, the Vanguard Guild recently allowed us to recharge the usage to avoid wasting the token."

"Right, we should recharge now so we don’t have to wait like those fools. Hahahaha!"

As the laughter resounded thunderously, those who were forced to travel by foot here from the Reave Town all had their expressions twisting.

The feeling was no different than having swallowed a mouthful of live maggots.

After all, they thought rushing to Reave Town was the greatest decision to increase their status and levels.

However, reality was often different from expectation. Not only was Reave Town constantly attacked by nearby monsters, but even adventuring outside was a dreadful experience.

If one was unlucky, then they would meet with a horde of intelligent monsters, waiting to ambush them.

Even if one wasn’t that unlucky, they still wouldn’t be able to farm many monsters. These monsters were very intelligent and would instantly call for reinforcement upon realizing they were being cornered.

Encountering these instances finally made players realize the Divine World had changed dramatically since the invasion of the Colossuses.

Monsters were no longer easy to kill. Teamwork and strategy plus coordination were extremely prioritized.

Due to these many factors, Reave Town’s popularity dipped, granted no one wanted to constantly be in fear of a monster siege.

And on the opposite end of this horror, there was the Vanguard Guild’s Haven Wind Town.

Haven Wind Town’s location made it the safest place in Twilight Glades.

Additionally, there were no worries about any monsters waiting in the ambush when leaving the town because of the NPC guards’ patrol and the gigantic pillar that oversaw the town.

Naturally, the pillar was none other than the Oppressive Pillar obtained from the previous large-scale dungeon raid.

Amidst these players’ conversation and snide remarks toward those who migrated from Reave Town, a newcomer arrived with a group of teams.

"Guild Leader, it seems like we were really fortunate to be allied with the Vanguard Guild. I’ve heard the town’s capacity has reached max." A female Sorcerer exclaimed.

"Of course, it has reached the max. Ever since that woman from the Illuminati entered the training hall at the cost of joining the Vanguard Chamber of Commerce, everyone and their mother has wanted to join." A male Gunner snorted coldly.

"Nobody was asking for your input. If anything, you should practice your leg running, lest you disappoint Guild Leader Lin Feng if he were to choose you as bait again if we cooperate in another dungeon."

"You—"

"Alright, that’s enough." Before their banter escalated further, an authoritative woman spoke up.

Almost immediately, the two players stopped their chattering, and the members behind them also lowered their heads.

Needless to say, this new group of people was Gentle Wind’s guild, the Silver Wind Guild.

The male Gunner was Steelshot and the female Sorcerer was SilentWhisper, who were used to their antics in jabbing at each other.

"Keep in mind your identity, and don’t smear the Silver Wind Guild’s reputation." Gentle Wind softly warned them and turned to the other elite members that she had brought along this time.

"This is Vanguard Guild’s territory and as guests, we’ll need to make sure we don’t break any of their rules. Also, I have received permission to allow you to enter the training hall on your own once you flash your guild emblem to the receptionist NPC."

Having said that, Gentle Wind waved her hand to dismiss them.

"What about you, Guild Leader?" SilentWhisper inquired.

"I’ll be waiting for my friend." Gentle Wind promptly replied before her eyes caught onto someone.

Her face flashed a warm smile as she approached them. "I was wondering if you weren’t going to come."

"Of course, I have to come." Autumn Breeze, otherwise known as Zhao Xin in the real world, chuckled heartily. "Many people are already flocking here and I would be lagging behind if I didn’t come."

"What about your little brother’s fighting competition?" Gentle Wind giggled and asked.

"The fighting competition has been smooth sailing, and he’s being mentored by someone reputed. I don’t need to watch him and worry about his progress." Autumn Breeze shook her head.

From her perspective, Zhao Kai could definitely rank at least in the top 10. There was no need to give the latter any pressure by watching every one of his fights.
