It’s true that Battle Nuns undergo rigorous training within the Sisterhood from a young age, but the Alliance’s Glory Guards, too, are trained by the Army Badge System, being those eliminated during the process of selecting Interstellar Warriors, and they aren’t lacking in training.

The distinction lies really in the fact that Battle Nuns, in their upbringing, are constantly engaged in learning the Emperor’s Scriptures, with daily prayers being essential.

In the eyes of a top Psychic like Gu Hang, they have a mysterious force from Subspace surrounding them at all times. They cannot actively utilize this power to form Psychic Spells like a Psychic could. However, this power firmly resides within the Battle Nuns.

The blessing from the Divine Emperor not only directly enhances the Battle Nuns’ strength, agility, mental resolve, and other ’basic attributes’, but also provides at least two traits:

Makes the Battle Nuns’ ’luck’ better, harder to be hit, and easier to hit the opponent;

Allows the Battle Nuns to passively expel any psychic energy around them that they deny, resulting in suppression in their vicinity.

Considering all this, the Battle Nuns are indeed much stronger than the purely mortal Glory Guards lacking any extraordinary traits.

On the unit of the most ordinary Interstellar Warrior, ten Glory Guards combined might defeat one ordinary Interstellar Warrior; as for Battle Nuns, perhaps six or seven of them could defeat one.

Not to mention, Gu Hang previously acquired a piece of technology: the ’Valkyrie’ Terminator Power Armor.

This is a type of Terminator Power Armor not used by Interstellar Warriors, which theoretically could be used by mortals after special training.

Nonetheless, this armor has not been mass-produced by the Alliance; only one production line was established to maintain the minimum level of production, with finished products directly produced internally, which already suffices for use.

The reason for not mass-producing it is mostly due to its excessively high cost, four times the price of the Iron Cavalry Power Armor, with performance only slightly better than the Iron Cavalry type.

Although supposedly usable by mortals, it’s ineffective if worn by an ordinary mortal.

It must be worn by Battle Nuns with very strong faith to fully harness the amazing components within the Valkyrie Armor.

Besides the Battle Nuns, there’s another strong aid, found in the Knight Mechas of the Alliance National Knights’ Regiment.

The Alliance hasn’t been particularly invested in the production of Knight Mechas, and hasn’t expanded production lines notably. But over the years, they’ve accumulated quite a substantial stockpile.

Interstellar Warriors, Battle Nuns with ’Valkyrie’, Knight Mechas, together form the mainstrike force of the Alliance’s attack on the Starport and Star Fortress.

And a large number of Glory Guards serve as supplementary forces.

Before they began their attack, Heyang VIII’s Starport and Star Fortress had already suffered a round of strikes.
