Summoned and Unwanted

Chapter 765: Trust and spectacular teamwork

"Yeah. I think Ester is about to conclude their fight as well." Said Vincent while relaxing his tense body.

Mimi looked at Ester with a curious gaze. She crossed her arms and placed her finger on her lips while wondering what Ester was about to do.

'If the move is going to be powerful enough to take on that thing of a monstrous bear, then why didn't she use it on my father?' Mimi wondered with a lot of curiosity.

Ester clenched Elsir firmly before twisting her body elegantly and swinging her arm. When she released her grip, Elsir shot forward like a rocket with great speed.

As the shining blade spun, the wind condensed around it and formed a visible ball of wind. The more Elsir spun, the more the ball expanded.

The power did not decrease as Elsir traveled from point A to point B. Instead, it gradually became stronger, as if Elsir was constantly being given mana to amplify more wind sigils over time instead of losing mana and becoming weaker.

All of the audience could not blink, and most of them held their breath. Many of the audience could not believe the power a sigil mage like Ester was displaying. She had reached the power of a grand mage, they believed.

Some of the audience who visited the arena and betted against the Lionheart family frowned, yet they could not stop looking at Ester's eye-catching mystifying attack. On the other hand, those who did not bet, were on the neutral side, or were on the Lionheart family's side grinned excitedly.

The bear's survival instinct triggered after sensing danger. It swung its large arm to smack the spinning sword away. The wind whistled as the arm moved hastily to reach the ball of condensed wind reaching its chest.

The moment both forces collided with one another, one force lost while the other won. The winner was Elsir, and it didn't appear to budge an inch. It kept moving forward.

The spinning ball of destructive wind grinded the hardened fur and flesh, the claws, and even the protruding earth spikes on the paw. The spinning ball knocked the severely wounded arm away forcefully.

The bear was rooted to the ground because large earth spikes impaled its legs. Instead of losing its balance, the bear contorted its body and swung its other arm hastily.

Two shadow lines attached to the second swinging arm. In the blink of an eye, two shadow figures landed and delivered a powerful double dive kick.

The hardened earth broke, the fur cracked, and blood oozed from the wound created by their kick. Additionally, the arm was pushed by the impact. The arm swiftly slammed onto the belly, and the claws dug into the belly.

Awa and Night were taken by surprise. This was the first time their attack caused so much damage. As their gaze moved onto the arm they had just kicked, they noticed a dark blade poking from the back of the bear's paw.

After recalling what Vincent told Ester about the short sword with a dark blade, they realized this was the reason their attack could draw blood. The absorbed mana to power up Elsir lowered the arm's magically enhanced defense.

Awa felt both happy for Ester's support and unhappy for not being able to show how powerful the Dullahan race was. Her pride did not allow her to feel satisfied with this outcome.

A second was left for collision. No matter the internal wounds caused by using the body as a catalyst for magic, the bear's survival instincts tried to block the attack at all costs.

Numerous earth shards shot, and numerous large earth spikes extended from the bear's body. However, they were all for naught.

The earth broke into pieces, and fragments fell to the ground. No matter what reached the ball of condensed wind, nothing could stop it.

As this was happening, the ball slightly expanded thanks to Elsie still stuck in the bear's paw and absorbing mana non-stop. The dark sword Elsie was like a wireless charger to Elsir.

The bear's attempt to stop Elsir was futile. It could do nothing more than to take Ester's attack head-on. Soon, the ball of condensed wind about three times the size of the short sword Elsir landed at the center of the bear's chest.

The destructive spinning wind grinded anything it touched, causing the bear to express pain at last. The vicious expression it contorted could make everyone understand this attack made the bear concerned.

*ROAR!* The bear roared loudly before pulling its claws from its belly. Both arms moved to grab the ball of condensed wind and push it away.

However, try as it might, the bear could not push, knock, or pull the ball of condensed wind away. Its hardened fur, hardened flesh, and claws were grinded into fragments.

Furthermore, because the legs were rooted to the ground, the bear could not move out of the way. Thus, its only option was to somehow move the destructive projectile that was gradually digging into its flesh bit by bit.

*Clang* While the bear tried to remove the attack, a loud sound of a metal object rang. A dark blade spun downward before landing on the ground. It was Elsie.

The ball of condensed wind started to shrink because Elsie was not providing mana to Elsir anymore. Like a cordless driller needing to be recharged because the plug was suddenly pulled, the power reduced quickly.

As the speed of the digging slowed drastically, the dozens upon dozens of hardened earth created from inside the bear's body started to overwhelm Elsir's destructive wind.

The audience could see that Ester's attack was not enough to kill the towering bear. The situation was looking grim for Ester, Awa, and Night right now.

*Whoosh! BOOM!* A large green explosion occurred at the bottom of the bear's spine. The intensity of the blast surprised all of the audience, and a hot breeze covered the field.

"We have your back!" Shouted Vincent after shooting two soul powered ice lances created with flammable mutated steam.

A bat descending from the sky at high speed shapeshifted into a busy vampire with green steaming lips. It was obvious she had a meal from Vincent before rushing to support Ester, Awa, and Night.

The bear was too focused on repelling Elsir from ripping its insides and too distracted from the sudden explosion to detect Mimi closing in rapidly from above.

In the blink of an eye, Mimi landed a mighty dive kick on the bear's forehead. The unguarded head dislocated upon impact, and the body bent as if the bear lost its balance.

The shining blade Elsir shook before tilting and shooting out of the ball of condensed wind. The dark blade Elsie shook before quickly moving to Ester like Elsir.

Because the source was removed, the ball of condensed wind wavered erratically. The ball contracted before expanding and exploding violently.

Blood gushed out of the wound. The impact caused by the force of the exploding mass of condensed wind pushed the bear's body backward.

Two shadow lines attached to the shoulders. In the blink of an eye, two shadowy figures landed with a loud bam. fгeewebnovёl.com

The powerful dive kicks were the last powerful pushing force needed to cause the damaged spine of the towering bear to break and the upper body to bend backward.

"Implode!" Shouted Vincent before lunging with hundreds of tiny wind sigils, pushing his body to reach more speed.

Vincent swung his arm with his index finger extended upon reaching his striking distance. *Tud* Like a bee stinging a person, the dangerous substance was injected.

Vincent's gauntlets crumbled after his time ended. He had used multiple Critical Time to boost his synergy with his wives and use Ester's power to the maximum level he could reach.

As Vincent was falling a fall of about a handful of meters drop, numerous vines emerged, and they caught Vincent's fall. Then they started moving the unpowered Vincent away hastily.

Ester used her wind sigils to shoot her body like an arrow toward the bear. Behind her was a short sword with a dark blade and a hiltless ordinary-looking shortsword following like a pair of wings.

Ester contorted her body and altered her trajectory. She headed for the leg Vincent did not attack.

Ester extended her arms over her head. Contained in between her hands was a ball of destructive wind created with all her remaining mana. She intended to damage the leg as much as she could to force the bear to fall.

In the span of one second, many things occurred. Ester landed hands first and dug a big hole inside the bear's left leg. At the same time, in the right leg, multiple internal explosions occurred.

The earth spikes broke from both sides. The weight of the upper body bending backward caused the remaining few earth spikes impaling the legs to break.

The audience stopped breathing and blinking their eyes when they saw the towering bear fall on its back. The loud thud of the body slamming to the ground and the teamwork between the four combatants astonished most of the audience.

The bear's belly moved slowly up and down. It showed the bear was still alive, even after the damage it received.

Awa and Night jumped inside the large wound in the chest Ester created. Their eyes flashed after noticing a very important vital organ. Apparently, Elsir was close to reaching this vital organ.

Both raised their legs one eighty degrees as if they had no bones and swiftly slammed their leg down while exclaiming, "Quake!" *Neigh!*
