The next day.

“Here is the bracelet you want.” Elder Thompson presented him with a white bracelet. There was nothing but engraving on its surface as requested. The thickness was actually thinner than he expected.

“It’s not as thick as I expected. How much ena can this one store?”

“I’m not sure, but according to my speculation based on the material and size, I’m assuming it can store at least twice the amount of your magazine. Do you want it to be thicker? No. I don’t think I can make it thicker than that, but I sure can make it a bit longer.”

“Well, I want it to be around three times, but this is good enough for the time being.” Nathan nodded. “Thank you, Elder Thompson. I might ask you to make the same thing again soon.”

“Sure.” Elder Thompson nodded with a smile. “Also, I make it that thin because it’s supposed to be covered with another protective layer to ensure that it doesn’t break easily.”

“I see. I understand. Let me finish this ring myself. Thank you and see you soon, Elder Thompson.” Nathan looked excited.

“Take your time.” Elder Thompson waved his hand, misunderstanding Nathan again. He thought Nathan was excited and wanted to finish it himself, to show his feeling instead of imbuing it with the power of space.

Nathan hurriedly went to Vivian’s workshop with the spare key he had. Considering he helped Vivian from time to time, he not only had the spare key to her workshop but was also capable of using her technology.

This time, he stopped by a sphere the size of a torso. Next to this sphere was a pair of boxes. The first box was red in color as a sign of input. He put some cores he got from the previous mission inside and activated the crystal, which sucked the ena from the cores.

Then Nathan opened it again, sensing excess energy that couldn’t be absorbed by the machine linger inside the box and leak out once he opened it.

The crystal lit up in various colors, showing the amount of ena inside the crystal. After that, Nathan opened the second box and put the bracelet inside.

Once the lid was closed, Nathan opened the valve between this blue box and the crystal, allowing the ena from inside the crystal to flow into this box.

The ena was forcefully injected into the bracelet. The process itself didn’t take longer than five minutes. It was a simple process, but the technology itself was based on a very complex system.

Once he opened the box, he noticed that more excess ena dispersed when he opened the lid.

“I guess this is enough.” Nathan squinted his eyes. He grabbed the bracelet and placed it in another box connected to a different crystal. This time, he wanted to measure the amount of ena contained inside the bracelet.

“Hoh? It contains 1,203 ena. It’s more than I originally expected.” Nathan smiled. “Let’s see…”

Nathan sat down while putting down the bracelet. He then formed a blank contract. “How am I going to use this?”

Nathan recalled the contract he made for the cloud-repelling device.

For that device, he had to use a bit of ena to give the device a wind ability. Meanwhile, what this bracelet needed was not a particular ability, considering the magic circle would solve that problem.

What it required was the element itself.

[Bracelet A will be paying 103 ena to tie a specific space within the void to Bracelet A. The space within the first clause will be realized with Bracelet A paying 1,100 ena to create an individual space within the void.]

After learning about the void from Evelyn, he thought about this contract. The individual space needed to be created by the bracelet. By using the ena from within the bracelet, this space would belong to the bracelet, while the 103 ena was used like a thread to bind the bracelet and the space together.

“Something like this? I don’t really need to add the space element itself. After all, the void is filled with space elements. And the big magic circle will act as a gate to utilize that space element. Meanwhile, the small magic circle is used to connect my ena with that space element or… that was what Evelyn said about the magic circles.”

Nathan took a moment before deciding to proceed. “Alright. Let’s go with this. Contract. Established!”

The contract then emitted a faint glow before disappearing into thin air. This was the reaction when the contract was fully established for an object.

“It’s really similar to the cloud-repelling device. This means…” Nathan’s hands started shaking as he couldn’t believe what he had just done.

Still, he couldn’t be too happy yet. He had to try it first to make sure. “Let’s do it, shall we?”

Nathan gulped down while putting on the bracelet on his right wrist. He then poured ena into the small magic circle.

“!!!” Nathan widened his eyes when the magic circle was activated. “The only way for it to be activated is if there’s a space element. In other words, I really succeeded. This bracelet is linked to the space element within the void.

“Then…” Nathan activated the big magic circle. The magic circle manifested around his arm, which startled him. “Oooh?!”

Nathan looked around and chose to use it in his chair instead. He pointed his palm at the chair and closed his eyes to concentrate. Then he poured his own ena to envelop the entire chair and fully activated the big magic circle.

The magic circle around his wrist then shone as one second later, the chair disappeared into thin air.

“!!!” Nathan couldn’t contain his smile. He hurriedly poured ena into the small magic circle.

He could faintly sense the individual space created by the contract. In fact, he could also pour ena inside it and envelop the chair with it.

“This… I have to test it. I should first move from here so that I won’t be around the void to prove that this space is tied to the bracelet.” Nathan carefully moved a few meters before pointing his palm to the ground and activating the big magic circle again. “Activate!”

All of a sudden, the ena he used to envelop the chair came out and moved to the space in front of him as the chair reappeared.

“Yeeessss!” Nathan pumped his fist and cheered out loud.

He succeeded. He created the first functioning space bracelet in this world.
