Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 1845: This is not our war.

"T-This isn’t possible…"

Liora stuttered, her composure cracking at the sight in front of her.

17 new Primordials…

In a war where even one Primordial made a huge difference, in a war where, after somehow dealing with Kaelith, one of the three enemy Primordials, they thought that the victory was now theirs,

Just seeing the sight of 19 Primordials standing in front of them was horrifying.

The enemies’ Aura was suffocating. Let alone their soldiers, even the Leaders themselves were trembling.

"This isn’t possible!"

Liora raised her voice.

"You do not have the financial power to hire 17 Primordials!"

It was the truth.

To be honest, even an elite force of 15 Primordials was enough to level both Velcria and Tandris together. The ten Primordials could easily take on the six Leaders, and the five Primordials were more than enough to take care of the rest of the soldiers.

That was simply how big the difference between the Primordials and lower-level beings was.

If Tandris had the power to hire 17 Primordials, they would have done this a long time ago.

The war would have never continued for so many decades, and even if they only just hired these Primordials, it made no sense to wait until they lost hundreds of thousands of soldiers.

Something didn’t add up here.

Soon, Liora recalled Malcharon’s words:

’Don’t make us do something we do not wish to…’

She overlooked it as a dying man’s blabbering back then, but now… Liora realized that the Nightveil actually didn’t want to summon these beings.

Why was that?

Was it because they wanted to continue the war, play with their enemies before finally taking their joy?

No, they would have lost too many soldiers if they did that, especially since Ember’s powers made it absolutely impossible for Tandris soldiers to turn the situation around.

Then why…?

Would not using the Primordials help them save their resources? No, just the Primordials’ presence alone ensured that they would get what they came here for. After all, for the Primordials, it didn’t make a difference.

As revolting as it was, to them, crushing Velcria was as simple as crushing a bug. It wasn’t something they would consider ’work!

Then…

Suddenly, Liora thought of something…

What if… they wanted to keep the Primordials hidden? What if these Primordials were just here for their reassurance, making sure they did not lose the war?

"We did what you told us to do, but now we’re unable to connect with Kaelith.

I can

still sense him-trapped inside this woman’s shadow, unable to come out.

This wouldn’t have happened if you hadn’t insisted we bring her onto our side.

Since it’s your fault we’re in this mess, I hope you can help us out!

Recalling Inferath’s words and his respectful tone, Liora finally found all the answers she was looking for, and her eyes widened in horror.

"Y-You…

You all came from the Faction!"

Liora shouted, and the instant she said those words, it wasn’t just the two worlds’ leaders-the seventeen Primordials, for the first time, showed a change in their expression.

Hesitation, frustration, anger, and… fear,

’Heeh? That’s quite a bold move!

Nux, who was watching everything from the shadows, stopped playing around with his new toy and commented with a playful smile on his face.

’What do you mean?"

"That shining angel is correct, they are from the faction.

Nux answered.

"What about it?"

Ember questioned.

’According to the rules set by the Supreme Worlds, during a war, while a lower-level world can send reinforcements to a higher level, a higher-level world cannot do the

same.

A single expert sent by a higher-level world can change the course of the war.

Take here, for example. These Primordials are probably sent by the middle-level world connected to Tandris.

For that middle-level world, which has tens of thousands of Primordials, sending seventeen Primordials won’t even make a big difference. However, in this war, it would lead to Tandris’s overwhelming victory.

There will be no point to wars if this rule doesn’t exist, and well, according to the Supreme Worlds’ words, ’there would be too many unnecessary deaths, hence, the

rule!

’And what now? These people broke the rules!

"They will be destroyed!

Nux commented with utmost confidence, as if this was already set in stone.

’These rules are made by Supreme Worlds.

Hmmm,

Consider those Supreme Worlds as those extremely power-hungry, old leaders who

are in power-beings who consider themselves to be absolute, beings who would never let anyone question their authority.

Beings who are extremely petty and would go after anyone that dares to go against.

them and would try to make an example out of them.’

’Wait…’

Ember’s expression changed.

’Yep, once this gets out, their own faction would destroy both Tandris and the middle-level world that sent these ’reinforcements’ here, to avoid the Supreme

Worlds’ wrath.’

Nux revealed, and Ember couldn’t help but frown in confusion.

’I do not understand. If they knew the consequences would be so dire, why did that middle-level world send them here in the first place? I highly doubt it is to protect

Tandris.

Ember didn’t think that a low-level world like Tandris would be important enough for

a middle-level world to risk its destruction.

"They did it for themselves.

Nux replied.

’Remember what the shining angel said? She said that the middle-level world above them was at a disadvantage and wanted them to win the war and send reinforcements.

That enemy world might be the one supporting Tandris. They must have sent some of their forces to ensure Tandris doesn’t lose, or even if they do, they make sure that they did enough damage to Velcria that they are unable to send any

reinforcements.

They never intended to come out in the first place. After all, when two equal worlds fought, it was absolutely impossible for one side to win with minimal casualties.

Unless, of course, there exists a being who could change the course of the war with

her presence alone!

Nux chuckled.

’So… this happened because of me?"

Ember questioned.

’Well, you were just doing your mission. It is not your fault!

Ember turned silent.

’What do we do now…?’

Thyra questioned.

’What else? We give up on the mission and get out of here.

This is not our war.

We have no reason to get involved in this mess!
