Chapter 1682: Fatigue is over, time to give it a shot!

First off, I apologize for letting “Pet Charm” go silent for a few months.

The depression over these past few months stems from the accumulated fatigue of four years and the backlog of pain in my spine.

Every morning I wake up with pain in my neck and shoulders, then with this irritation I sit down to write, which continues to cause neck and shoulder pain; and then I have to write some more…

This rhythm was driving me close to madness.

Early on, “Pet Charm” didn’t perform well, only improving later on, and honestly, it was all gained by overdrawing my own health during that period: from working late at night, to double updates, to outbreak updates, to even late-night marathons of writing, from struggle at the end of the month, the beginning of the month, seeking recommendation tickets, seeking subscriptions…

It’s not that these past few months Little Fish deliberately slacked off or neglected anything, but it’s just that no normal person can endure a job with no single day off.

Most people work 5 days and get 2 days off, or at the very least, work 6 days and get a day off, but writers don’t have that luxury, Little Fish doesn’t. It’s like this 365 days a year, and I wouldn’t even miss writing on the 366th day of a leap year.

This time I traveled for ten days, and I even wanted to completely give myself a ten-day break.

But deep down, I just can’t agree with letting myself be so indulgent.

So, during these ten days of travel, in every city I passed through, I tried my best to find any place where I could write: waiting rooms, on the train, in cafes, on public benches, in hotels, without a power source, without the internet, without a signal…

From a homebody, I’ve completely turned into a vagrant carrying around a broken laptop.

Today is the last day of my trip. I only got home at 3 in the early morning, but fortunately, I managed to finish updates for four chapters before I slept. Today, I really made full use of every possible time and place to write, and I’m also very grateful for everyone’s vote support!

Back home, I feel a lot lighter in so many ways.

The end of the trip also signifies the absolute end of this period of writing fatigue.

But the fight that needs to be fought still needs to be fought!

“Pet Charm” had just begun to rise after writing 3 million characters, but July has only passed 11 days, it doesn’t really count for much!
