Chapter 1756: 1613: The Void Forbidden Hall

Chapter 1756: Chapter 1613: The Void Forbidden Hall

They found the Forbidden Hall Rainy Suo mentioned.

Chu Mu noticed that the exterior of this Forbidden Hall was surrounded by a particularly strange spell barrier.

Layer upon layer of barriers resembled shackles of specialized energy, sealing off the Forbidden Hall. Even at the entrance, arcs of lightning continuously flashed.

Chu Mu was puzzled. Why would there be such an extraordinary Forbidden Hall within the Tower of Ten Thousand Floors? Every entrance and gap seemed to be sealed. What kind of creatures were sealed inside this hall?

Chu Mu summoned Mo Ye, instructing it to use its claws to tear open the hall’s barrier.

Upon entering, Chu Mu suddenly realized the interior of the hall was incomparably vast—the dim great hall stretched endlessly into the void!

“What’s going on here?” Chu Mu asked in astonishment, gazing at the dimly lit hall.

From the outside, this Forbidden Hall appeared to be the size of a regular great hall. Chu Mu could flash across it in an instant given his speed.

However, once inside, the space was incredibly vast—expanded multiple times beyond its apparent size.

“Young Master, this is a classic case of compressed space. On the surface, it looks like the size of a regular hall, but inside, it’s incredibly spacious and remarkably sturdy. For stronger contenders, destructive power during battles can be overwhelming. For sparring or duels, such customized compressed spaces prevent excessive damage or disturbance.” Fox Elder’s voice rang out with timely explanation.

“I see,” Chu Mu nodded.

“However, this Forbidden Hall evidently wasn’t made for sparring strong contenders. It’s possible that some powerful creatures nurtured by the Heavenly Palace reside here.” Fox Elder remarked.

Chu Mu didn’t need Fox Elder’s explanation; he could already sense powerful energies emanating from within. Moving toward the hall’s depths, he noted that the source of these energies seemed to come from the ground.

On the hall’s ground were numerous etched sealing diagrams, and the creature’s energies appeared to be originating from them.

Rainy Suo had previously warned Chu Mu not to disturb these seals lightly.

“Chu Mu, it’s time for the second breakthrough attempt. The Divine Dew’s energy is slipping beyond my control…” Rainy Suo reminded Chu Mu.

“This Forbidden Hall might be able to conceal some fluctuations within its energy, right?” Chu Mu asked.

“It can, but it may not be sufficient to hide everything. Keep moving forward. The end of the Forbidden Hall connects to the Totem Temple and the Roulette Temple; reaching there may ease some pressure from the Imperial Guards.” Rainy Suo replied.

With Rainy Suo’s suggestion, Chu Mu proceeded toward the hall’s end.

The Forbidden Hall was filled with numerous seals, so Chu Mu dared not fly lightly through them.

At this moment, a surge of pure energy emerged from Chu Mu’s Soul Pet Space. The aura spread outward like ripples in water, radiating from Chu Mu’s center in every direction!

This was the Divine Dew’s energy wave, and Chu Mu’s heart seized in alarm.

The energy was immense—so intense that even powerful figures like Qin Ji could easily detect its flow. Soul Immortal Level Forbidden Guards would unquestionably sense its surging presence!

The rippled energy expanded outward, weakening when it encountered the hall’s prohibitions. However, it continued to spread outside after numerous subsequent diminutions.

“Did you sense that?” On the Tower of Ten Thousand Floors, Qin Ji furrowed his brows, his gaze fixed toward the East’s Forbidden Hall.

“Sense what?” Mrs. He asked in confusion.

“The energy fluctuations from the Forbidden Hall,” Qin Ji responded.

“Isn’t it normal for energy waves to emerge from there? None of the sealed creatures within have ever remained quiet,” Mrs. He remarked.

Yet, Qin Ji couldn’t shake the feeling that the faint fluctuations bore a striking resemblance to the Divine Dew’s energy.

The Forbidden Hall was structured as compressed space. What was unique was how its endpoint intersected the position between Roulette Temple and Totem Temple.

That meant if the thief used the Forbidden Hall as a path, he could bypass multiple layers of sealed guards and appear directly outside the Totem Temple.

“I’ll go check it out. I’ll leave this area to you, Mrs. He.” Qin Ji said.

“Makes sense. That thief is highly knowledgeable about Totem Temple and even Goddess Tower. It’s possible he’s aware of the Forbidden Hall’s secrets as well.” Mrs. He remarked.

Driving his Starry Sky Dragon, Qin Ji swiftly flew toward the Forbidden Hall’s location.

Not entirely confident about the thief’s presence in the Forbidden Hall, Qin Ji chose caution to avoid unnecessary chaos. He dispatched the Imperial Guards to secure the hall’s exits while entering the hall alone.

The Forbidden Hall was enveloped in deep darkness. Like Chu Mu, Qin Ji avoided flying outright. He instructed his Starry Sky Flood Dragon to shrink into a smaller form and coil itself around him.

Sensing outward, Qin Ji began to search the vast, dim hall for the thief’s silhouette.

Suddenly, a distinct wave of energy surged from the dark figures ahead, striking Qin Ji’s face.

The aura—Qin Ji recognized it instantly—it was undoubtedly the Divine Dew!

“As expected, it’s here!!” Qin Ji’s eyes instantly sharpened with a cold gleam.

Incanting a spell, Qin Ji summoned a golden-haired Demon Spirit with shimmering fur.

The golden Demon Spirit could move with greater ease amidst the hall’s labyrinth of seals. Fixing his gaze on the darkened figure ahead, Qin Ji rushed toward the source of energy waves.

“Another failure??” Chu Mu asked.

“Yeah…”

“Forget it, I’ll help you,” Chu Mu declared.

“Help me? How?” Rainy Suo questioned.

“I’ll guide the Divine Dew’s energy directly into your soul. It should be similar to the technique in strengthening Soul Pets.” Chu Mu explained.

Rainy Suo hesitated.

Technically, as Chu Mu’s Soul Pet, Rainy Suo was unique in that Soul Pet Masters could channel energy directly into their pets’ bodies via Soul Sense, aiding their elevation.

Yet Rainy Suo had always relied solely on her cultivation, never considering utilizing Soul Pet techniques to bolster her progress.

“Alright. I’ll transfer the Divine Dew…” Rainy Suo began, abruptly cutting herself off.

“What now?” Chu Mu asked.

“Someone’s coming,” Rainy Suo cautioned.

Turning to look back, Chu Mu discerned a golden figure skillfully navigating through columns and seals, racing toward him.

“Looks like the earlier energy surge was detected by a powerful figure,” Chu Mu murmured, his brows furrowing.

Releasing his senses outward, Chu Mu found some relief upon confirming that the intruder seemed to be alone—avoiding scenarios of a complete encirclement.

“You evade them first. I’ll attempt another breakthrough. If I fail again, you’ll assist me in advancing.” Rainy Suo instructed.

“Got it.” Chu Mu nodded firmly.

“It might be Qin Ji. He is exceptionally strong. You must channel the Divine Dew’s growth energy into Dream of Oblivion’s body—a successful awakening would give you better odds of escaping his grasp.” Rainy Suo reminded.
