As Arad flew in the sky and looked down, trying to find the three of them, a mist of darkness flew past him, and he could feel a sharp pain through his chest. The darkness woman was standing above his head with her whole body covered in burning, irradiated blood.
Arad didn’t know what she did, but expected that she had somehow attacked him… for now, he still can’t understand how her powers work, but even if he were to die here. Those three are in for a nasty surprise.
And even before he dies, he has a trick he wanted to try, now that he can control souls a bit.
The darkness woman laughed, “My friend, even I didn’t replace my organs with darkness. Where are yours?!”
Arad didn’t care to reply and turned back into a human form, spun around, and sent a flying kick at her face. She blocked the attack with ease, but her forearm bones shattered. It seemed that Arad wasn’t the only one who wasn’t used to his full power; the three horrors are the same.
After spending several centuries chained in hell and without their divine portfolios, they seem to be having some troubles with their power, but they are still far too powerful. Albeit weakened, they were still masters of their elements and are slowly getting back in shape.
Just from observing them, Arad could tell that each of the three horrors is at least a bit stronger than him. To win this fight, he must play it smart.
As the darkness woman spun through the air, Arad flew after her, growing half-dragon wings as his whole body ignited with a spark of lightning. But before he could reach her, the madman and the pain woman appeared at his sides, one at the left and the other at the right. One plagued his mind with abhorrent whispers, and the other’s touch sent waves of indescribable pain through his whole body.
They are trying to gang up on him, three on one. Fine, he, too, knows how to gang up on people.
Such a mental strain would’ve dropped even the strongest of monsters and warriors, but Arad couldn’t care less about pain and madness. His wings twisted and flapped, with one hand he grabbed the mad woman by the arm, and with the other hand he grabbed the madman by the face. With a spin, he sent the two flying in different directions and kept heading toward the darkness woman.
Arad had one reason for going after her instead of the other two: she was the only sane one. The madman was just that, mad and insane. The pain woman was just a pervert who wanted to feel agony, she’ll probably sit down if he asks to torture her. But this darkness woman can think; she is the only real threat among the three. No wonder the area got engulfed by darkness and nothing else.
The darkness woman looked up with a grin on her face. “Come at me.” Her body burned with darkness that solidified into a long spear. Without wasting a second, she hurled it at Arad. The spear exploded the moment it got close to him and engulfed the sky in blackness.
“Three at one. No matter how powerful you are, we’ll end up winning.” She giggled with an excited smile, “Forget the cat, your body is far better.”
But then, her smile quickly faded away. Standing around her, four tall and muscular Arads were glaring down at her. He had three souls inside him. The human soul, the dragon soul, and the slumbering third one. They were all his souls, but the last one didn’t seem to reply, no matter how much he tried to use it. And now that he isn’t linked to the system and limited by it, all of his abilities may rely on his soul and its power.
Gemini created a clone for someone to use, but how does the constellation determine what a single person is? Of course, based on the person’s soul. Using one cast of Gemini to separate the human and dragon souls, and then each of those two uses Gemini again to clone themselves. Arad was left with four bodies to play around with.
“Now this isn’t fair at all…” She only managed to say that before the four started mercilessly beating her down. One punched her in the face, the other kicked her in the stomach, one shattered her spine, and the other stomped on her.
At that moment, the other two were rushing to help her. The madman curses under his breath, and the pain woman fuming with jealousy, screaming at the darkness woman to switch with her. She could already feel her body tingling by thinking about how painful it would’ve felt to be jumped by those four.
But to their luck, they were facing a monster.
From the ground, a black mass of nothing burst beneath the madman’s feet and bit him like a shark out of the sea. He gasped, trying to drive the strange thing into madness, but his head almost exploded with a backlash, faced with madness and primal fury almost equal to his. The thing looked like an undeveloped, bloodied fish, but as if made of liquid ink. The two of them disappeared into the ground.
The pain woman who was rushing to Arad suddenly found herself embraced by a black silhouette of a woman. From the long ears, she could tell it was an elf, but at the same time, something strange happened. The pain woman had healed her spine and could feel pain again, but now that pain had faded away again.
The silhouette woman giggled in her ear, “Curse of the painless.”
The pain woman burned red with rage, “Damnable witch!” And the two of them disappeared into the distance to fight in peace. Those two were Shi and Doma. Arad had given them bodies made from void, just like he did with the scorpion.
The Darkness woman finally managed to dissipate into darkness and escape the brutal beating Arad gave her. She growled and glared at him, “Four at one? What kind of gentleman are you? I’ll take three at max.”
That was also a mistake, she wasn’t facing a man, but a dragon. And now, two dragons were staring at her, a werewolf at the side and a vampire on the other side. The four glared at her with malice. Arad wasn’t going to let any of the three live another day, even hell can’t save them from him.
“I’ll make the fourth hole.” The werewolf Arad growled at her, and she felt her blood dry. What terrified her more was that he understood her underlying meaning earlier. That means that he wasn’t a mindless rampaging beast, but was listening and thinking calmly through all of this.
“Listen to me! We can talk this over, right?” She yelled, but Arad wasn’t replying. Instead, the vampire lunged at her and gave her a solid punch in the face, and then bit her neck. The werewolf also lunged right then and clenched his jaw on her thigh. The two were trying to pull her apart and rip her in half. All while the two dragons flew up and started charging their breaths, ready to bathe the whole area in radiation and fire.
Arad had discovered how to hurt true darkness. By burning it with pure light, and nothing was brighter than his radiant energy breath. As another mushroom cloud, even bigger than the first one, dawned on hell, the whole layer quaked, and all of the devils looked at it in horror.

The madman growled as he flew back, dodging two black-blood shark-looking monsters. Shi, too, was using Gemini from Arad’s soul, making two of her. He was already insane, but he was now fuming at the monster that he couldn’t drive insane.
But it was then that his bad day turned from bad to worse. Four Arads showed up around him, and they weren’t alone; a dark woman stood there with them, emotionless like a statue. It didn’t take the madman a second to understand two things. She was the darkness woman, and now she has a body like that of the shark he is fighting.
Arad had already consumed her soul. And to add salt to the injury, she became two as well, using Gemini. “Everything was born from nothing, and to nothing, everything shall return.”
