Chapter 1300 - 1300: Vulkan's Brilliant Flames

“To think…” Damnation growled from between her bloodied{With lava} teeth. “There is someone in this world that can violate Vulkan this badly…” Her body cracked, and lava splashed out like blood.

“Vulkan is a living volcano, the greatest of them all!” Damnation exploded into a splash of lava, pushing the two Arads away and almost hitting Doma with the flood.

The walls of the chamber started sweating lava, and ten massive hands formed from them, burning red as their fingers intertwined. Fire magic flooded the whole place, and Arad could feel something heavy pushing against the space magic he cast to lock this place.

One thing was wrong. The magic he felt wasn’t trying to dispel the spatial lock. It was just too heavy and massive not to brush against.

Arad knew what was coming, and it wasn’t going to be fun.

[Elemental Expansion] The whole room flooded with lava and fire, exploding into a blue purgatory of heat, sparks, and boiling, molten bedrock.

[Bowel of Earth]

Inside the hellish blue flames, Arad, the one who was fighting Damnation from the start, looked up -seeing her come flying down at him through the lava. Her foot landed on his face and pushed him to the ground, flames greater than anything he had seen before bursting from her shoulders, pushing her down to crush his head.

But that wasn’t the limit. The flames- Vulkan’s flames grew stronger and stronger, evaporating the lava into steam and then burning that steam into plasma as she pushed down with even greater strength on Arad’s face.

Doma had already retreated back into Arad when the flames filled the chamber. His other incarnation was a bit too far away to reach him quickly enough. He had to stop Damnation alone since all of this was happening in just a fraction of a second.

Damnation wasn’t stepping on his face and pushing him down. She actively flew down at his head with a flying kick. This moment that felt like an eternity was just the moment of the impact.

Her sole pushed into his chin, the flat of her foot crushed his nose, and her toes tried to dig into his eyes. Putting all of her might, weight, and firepower behind that kick, Damnation had turned herself into a bullet, an incendiary round hitting its target within a boiling explosion of titanic proportions.

Such power, Vulkan, must’ve been unmatched in life. With such sundering firepower, she could’ve probably wiped a whole continent out of the map. Arad had a theory. The lava pool, the thousands of kilometer wide crater that housed all of the inferno that the Volcanic titans live on. A kick just like this one must be what caused it. Vulkan blasting some poor soul into the depth of hell with one last attack, and Arad a solid guess who’s fucking bitch who ate that foot to the face.

^Hitting me with what Vulkan hit her with.^

As if it wasn’t enough, Damnation could force Vulkan’s body beyond its mortal limits, pulling even more firepower, and her flames turned pale white.

Damnation growled inside her mind, cursing herself. ^Damn it, fall, fall, how fucking tough are you? I’m already using twice what Vulkan was capable of!^ She could feel her bones being on the verge of exploding, her muscles tearing, and her magic fading. The great flames had started consuming her as well, and it had been just a tiny fraction of a second since the impact.

^Was it that hard? Was it that impossible to just let me serve you? Live in this world? I bet it wasn’t. You’ve just had to stick with those humans. To pay what they wanted. They are dead, deader than death. The dead shouldn’t drag down the living. Why do you let them drag you? Just because they were once humans, and I’m here an abomination? I bet it wasn’t because of that. I know you far too well.^

Flames burned inside Damnation’s eyes, and her body flashed with magic. Her output grew stronger, and even Arad could see it, the fabric of magic around her ripping apart from the sheer power she was forced out.

^Wasn’t it a better choice to let me serve you? I would’ve loved to be sucking you off now, begging for my life like an obedient little dog, but no, you had to force me to fight. Now, I’ll blast this whole volcano to the sky, you and every sorry titan above us included.^

Damnation wasn’t joking. This was just the first fraction of a second of the great detonation. Arad might survive the blast, but he can’t say the same for Tempo and everyone else above. They’ll get ripped apart, evaporated, and their ashes scattered above the clouds.

She had changed the stakes of the fight all on her own, taking everyone hostage. No, she wasn’t doing that. Damnation wasn’t trying to run away or fight back anymore. She is going down, losing, and she’ll take as many people down with her as she can.

If there was anything that Arad never learned, it is that there are many more outcomes to a fight than winning, losing, or a draw. A win-win, and everyone is happy. The outcome where no one wins, everyone loses.

This was a lose-lose, Damnation would die, and so would everyone in the Volcanic Titan’s kingdom. She condemned everyone into damnation, fitting her name.

But something was wrong, and Damnation knew it. Arad’s face was beneath her foot, and that wasn’t something that should’ve been possible. She should’ve been the one crushed beneath his foot. She knew how strange the situation was and that she was literally stepping on a landmine. He has to be able to do something, but no matter how hard she thought, she couldn’t figure anything.

Arad’s body sparked with void magic, black smoke rushing out of his skin to consume Vulkan’s bright light and heat. It was then that Damnation fully realized that she was fucked, and not in any way that she would’ve loved.

Arad was about to do something, and she knew that all of her efforts would just vanish. She knew his power and had long since learned to respect and fear it.

[Elemental Expansion: Devouring Void]

Arad’s void exploded out of his body like a blinding dark flash.
