Each god is beholden to their nature and portfolio. Some say that a mortal’s very existence is transformed upon attaining godhood, and some say that only those who embody the divine persona can attain godhood, not the other way around.
Eris is a demi-goddess of murder, and she must embrace murder if she wants to attain that form of godhood. The same is true with Mira, who must bear the fangs of greed to ascend.
Kali isn’t an exception. She is the goddess of demons and was born a demon. She was destined to become the goddess of orphans and thus ended up having both of her parents killed, turning her into an orphan. Her portfolio of destruction wasn’t all that simple as well. Even if she mostly keeps low, her power, her angels, and demons are sowing destruction on both the abomination war and the blood war fronts.
She must adhere to her very nature of a demon, of an orphan, and that of a destroyer.
The stronger a god is, the easier it is for them to resist the urge of their divinity. The more ancient and powerful they are, the more tricks they have up their sleeves to cope with their divine aspects. Of course, not all gods seek to resist it. Some embrace it and thrive in the madness of their own holiness.
Kali had spent centuries keeping her demonic and destructive nature at bay. It had taken her great effort to push all of the violent, sadistic, and brutal ideals of demonkind to the back of her head and adhere to the calm, morally gray nature of humans that her adoptive parents instilled in her.
But tonight, even for a bit, she wanted to be herself again. She didn’t want Arad to only know her as the calm, gentle, and easygoing azure demoness with six arms. She knows that one day in the future, she’ll be forced to let loose and unleash her primal, destructive nature upon the world or even upon the frontlines of war.
This night was going to be long and arduous. Between Arad’s hoarse and heavy breathing, Kali’s loud moans of ecstasy, and the cultist’s cries and screams for mercy as her body rotted away from the inside out. The bedroom of the Golden Palace burned with life and noise.
Arad violently thrust as he pulled Kali back to him by her neck, his palm crushing on her chest but still struggling to dent it. It was exhausting and tiring, but at least nothing was about snap as it was with Nina. Kali was much better at controlling her own harrowing strength and toughness.
It didn’t take Arad long to realize another frightening nature of Kali’s body. It was constant, as all the gods were. Her body’s divine regeneration kept her from getting used to him, his size, or even losing her virginity. Each time he pulled out, she’d fully recover.
At one point, Arad even activated the constellation [Taurus], sealing all of his magic in exchange for pure physical might to keep up with her, and he lamented the fact he didn’t use it with Nina because it somewhat worked.
Kali was surprised when Arad’s hold on her grew stronger by several times, tens of times even. It was a first for her to flinch due to something stinging her. The sudden dull pain in her stomach as his last trust carried the weight of a mountain made her shiver.
She looked back at him, “Now, this is a surprise. Can you get it a bit more rougher?”
Hearing her, Arad pushed her down immediately, slamming her face on the bed, and swung his palm with a full-force slap to her large, azure peach. The slap that should’ve been a full year’s worth of torturous pain for anyone else felt nothing more than a slightly rough love tap to Kali, but that was just what she needed.
That was the curse of strength. The more powerful someone was, the less sensitive they were to creatures weaker than them. It was the same as how a man wouldn’t feel the weight of a fly on his hand or how a needle’s sting might not hurt if it was thin and sharp enough.
As Arad finally found a way to at least contend with Kali’s insane durability, the two of them finally managed to connect deeper, slowly drowning in their pleasure.
Isabelle, Diana, and the angels watched from the side. Some were worried, some didn’t care, and some were just surprised. In their whole life, they never expected to hear their goddess beg for it, but here she was, spreading her legs, moaning as loudly as she could, and begging to be pounded, slapped, kissed, and pressed down until nothing remained of her.
“It looks like this is going to take a while.” Isabelle frowned, “We two might not have a chance tonight. I doubt Kali would be satisfied with just a few runs.” She looked at Diana, “A shame, isn’t it?”
Diana stared back at her and sighed, “What shame are you talking about? It works perfectly fine for me. I got more time to think about it.” She looked at Arad, “Besides, my only job here was to be her assistant. As you can see, my goddess is so vigorous that Arad might need to call his other incarnations to pick up the slack.”
“Then we aren’t thinking alike.” Isabelle sighed, “I would’ve done anything to be in her place, embraced by his… forget it. Tomorrow or the day after, I’ll get my chance.” She then looked at the cultist woman who was still rolling on the ground in agony, crying and begging for mercy as her flesh ripped apart and healed, keeping her stuck between life and death.
“Cheap as the price goes for demonic power. Some would’ve spent centuries slaving away in the abyss for a chance to earn a slither of power or might’ve even sold their souls.” Isabelle stood and approached the cultist woman. She sat beside her and looked at her eyes.
“Kill me.”
“Sorry, I can’t. You’ve already signed a contract. You’ll suffer here, your screams will be a melody to the demon goddess, and in exchange, she’ll grant you the right to be reborn as a free blood demon. I might even go as far as to say you got a sweet deal.” Isabelle looked at Arad and Kali, then turned back at the cultist, “I’ll give you a tip you’ve been lucky enough to brush against history. You’ve already drawn the demon goddess’s attention.” Isabelle smiled, “Once you get reborn as a blood demon, I’d suggest you come to serve her instead of running away.”
