The bears carried them through the night as Hawk rested, and by the time that the sun came up, they were at the lone road that ran north up the eastern side of Gabil.
“Nararam should be just south down this road. Do you want to go through the city, then to the river, or continue east and pick up the river in the wilderness?” Karl asked once the Naga woke up.
{You’re still awake?} The Naga asked, surprised to see Karl.
“Sort of. I prefer to meditate, so I don’t have to leave my spot. The Golems give me enough input to keep us out of trouble. That’s why I used my own Golem.” Karl explained.
The Naga nodded. {That’s a good idea. Not many have the skills to do that, but your class is a unique one.}
Karl shrugged. “I’m technically in my third class now. I started as a Beast Master, and then advanced. Each has been better than the one before, so no complaints.”
